Extended Stay America Los Angeles - Simi Valley - Simi Valley

Hotel was clean--room was clean--try at continental breakfast was just so-so..Coffee was good and had limited fruit--needed to refil food items more reequently---but overall it was okay!

Simi hotel was clean and convienent to freeway and other destinations--also pet friendly! We will stay there again on our Calif. visits!

Beds were very hard and uncomfortable, pillows were too small and too few. On the second day the rooms were not serviced, towels were not replaced. No hair dryer. The hallway was obstructed with furniture.

This was one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. The room smelled funny and had random black hairs throughout the bathroom and on the pillows. Gross! The hallways and elevator smelled like cigarettes, cigars, and marijuana all combined into one disgusting smell. The quality of people staying there were sub-par (to put it in a nice way). There were […] kids running up and down the halls, knocking on people's doors, pulling out the "do not disturb" signs, yelling and screaming without any parent supervision. On the morning of my departure, I went to the front desk (after coming back from the gym) and I asked for a late checkout (noon) . The same person I asked called my room at 11:15 (I didn't answer because I was in the shower) and at 11:25 she came into my room while I was getting dressed telling me check out was at 11:00!!! She didn't even remember that I had asked her about an hour before all this that I wanted a late checkout! Are you kidding me?! Next time, I'll spend a few extra dollars and stay somewhere else. the room was nice and it had space but if you are not staying longer than a week, you will bw paying to hav your sheets linen washed and you will have to pay for toliet items. the staff was nice and helpful but you are pretty much on your own when it comes to your linens.

Pluses: Convienent location near a wedding i attended at the vinyards. Hotel is just off the highway. Room and hallways were clean and quiet. Rate was decent. Negatives: Most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on. Stiff as a board. A shag carpeted floor would have been more comfortable than that bed. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. When I had my reservation cancelled at the last minute it took me over a week to see a refund. I am still waiting for a full refund and only received a partial one. I plan to follow up with the hotel management in the near future.

Hotel was basically empty for Thanksgiving so less noise than normal although I could easily hear occupants next door through the paper-thin walls. Also I checkout took far too long as myopic clerk went from one phone call to the next with no acknowledgement of me standing at counter.

This was, hands down, the worst hotel experience I've ever had. I was given a room that appeared to have not been cleaned in years: Mold was growing in the leftover coffee in the coffee pot, the trashcan was mostly full, the bed was unmade and had burn holes in the mattress pad. While I was promptly […] given another room--one that was acceptable and clean--I later that evening discovered that my card key didn't work, for whatever reason. I had to wait 45 minutes at the front desk for assistance, at 9 pm no less. Except for not having a hairdryer in the room (2 hairdryers are on loan from front desk), a nice place to stay in the Simi Valley area.

The property charges for use of the internet and for housecleaning per day. I was not informed of the fee for housekeeping theefore m bedswere not made and I had to ask for extrra toels. The hotel had a smell to it. The beds were uncomfortable. I go to Simi Valley quite often. i would not go back here if I could help it.

Hotel was clean but the bed was uncomfortable. I was less than impressed with the staff but we did check in late in the evening.

very bad room is smelling. Phone didnt work after reporting also no one repaired. Internet is dammslow. over all bad experience.
