South Beach Condo Hotel - Treasure Island

We loved this place. This is a little bit older property as many of the Florida hotels are but is very well maintained and has updated appliances, countertops and beds. Also great location - within walking distance or short drive to many activities, restaurants and a Publix. Hope to return again.

Mattresses are old and need to be replaced. I slept on the sofa due to the worn out mattress.

Hotel was next to beach, close to Waffle House, Mc Donald's ,Publix and other shopping. Best views are 3rd floor to 6th floor.

Here's what we liked about it: Great location for local restaurants and day trips for sightseeing. Very good value for the price charged. Friendly staff and responsive maintenance man. Good sized basic washer and dryer, though no alarm to notify end of cycles. Here's what we didn't like: Very noisy dishwasher (don't run before bedtime). Cheap CFL […] lightbulbs; some remained dim, others took several minutes to brighten up. Slow Wifi. Very few hangers - we had to buy our own to use. Cheap analog thermostat - hard to get it just right. Suggestions: Bring slippers or flip-flops; 100% tile floors can feel cold and gritty. Bring some hangers from home. Ask to be on 3rd floor or higher - not much of a view from 2nd floor, where we were. Bring your own light bulbs if you want to read in bed. Devamı

We pre-booked for 1 night, but kept extending our stay each day, in total we stayed 5 nights. Definately among the best condo blocks in the area. All rooms sea view which is to die for! Dolphins often seen swimming by from the balcony or on the beach. Lots of activities, shops and restaurants close by.

Had a wonderful time. Super location and clean wide beach. Weather was great and plenty to do within walking distance.

Very nice view from the Condo Balcony , all the units have the sea view. Make sure you get the 6th floor for a good view.

I loved the place, it was very clean and the front desk people were so accommodating. The room was amazing. The bed was a little stiff for me but my girlfriend liked it. All I can say was I will be coming back because for the price your getting allot.

Perfect location overlooking the gulf. We had a car so getting around was no problem. Pleasantly surprised with our room. Had everything from the comforts of home and the pool was heated and clean.

this hotel is great family friendly

We recently stayed at South Beach Condo for six days. The condo was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. We stayed off season so the pool area and beach were quiet and relaxing. We were within walking distance to many restaurants and a grocery store. We would definitely stay again!

South beach condo hotel has a great location, right on the beach. The kitchen and bath were well-equipped with towels, toiletries, dishes etc. The late-arrival checkin was simple and the staff were friendly and accomodating.

Hotel is updated and looks nice but if you're looking for peace and quiet than continue your search. The whole time my wife and I were in the room all we could hear was noise from the rooms beside and above. Noise that included footsteps and the sound of furniture dragging across the room. I could hear someone from the parking lot get in their car and […] crank it from the third floor. There is no housekeeping so you have to do all the cleaning. If you don't mind cleaning or noise you might enjoy, but I can't recommend it. Devamı

South Beach Condo Hotel had all the comforts of home. Was like being in an apt. on the beach: large, separate bedroom from living area; large/spacious granite countertops in kitchen and bathroom for stuff; all the suppiles, even laundry detergent with W/D in room; large private lanai; 42" flat screen TV w/DVR. AND very reasonably priced, a bargin for […] luxury/convenience/comfort. It's a smaller hotel so has intimate feel. No in condo restaurant or grand lobby which is deceiving, since the rooms are terrific in comparison. However restaurants are within walking distance and shops at the close John's Pass a must see. The hotel was great, this was the second year we stayed at the hotel and plan on returning same time next year. The only suggestion I had was for the use of fabric softener on the towels, they were very rough!

The condo was just the right size for our 5 person family. Beds were FANTASTIC. Very comfortable. Condo was clean and had a great view of the gulf. The only drawback was that upon our arrival, we found out that the pool was under repair. Hotel staff hours are limited and if you arrive after hours, you must call to retrieve a key box code. This was a great condo however the pool was under construction when we got there. The maintenance was very loud on top of the fact that we had no pool. I politely asked if they were offering compensation and the lady at the front desk only offered me the option of a coupon for a future stay only good for one yr. Thankfully we live in fl and will probably […] be able to use it as long as we can get around the blackout dates. The hotel itself was clean and the condo was large and had all the amenaties. This condo-hotel has great views of the beach and Gulf. Very clean and has everything you need for a great stay. Fully equiped Kitchen w/ granite countertops, large Living/Dining Room w/ flat screen TV & DVD player, nice Bedroom w/ large closet and a flat screen TV. Full size washer and dryer. Lots of storage. Great place for the family or group of friends since there are alot of restaurants and things to do. About 30 mins or so to St. Petersburg or Clearwater.

It was an absolutely beautiful view and relaxing stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great value!

We were very happy with our 6th floor 1 bdrm accommodations. Only disappointment was the terrible, coil mattress on the sofabed. After a first night of no slee, they did offer a memory foam for the bed. I suggest that if you will be needing the sofabed, to address this issue before your first night in the room. WE NORMALLY STAY AT THIS POROPERTY'S SISTER PROPERTY, SURF BEACH RESORT. WHILE WE STILL LOVE THAT PROPERTY, WE DECIDED TO TRY THE SOUTH BEACH. My family and I selected this hotel because it is directly on the beach and was within our budget. The staff at the counter was very friendly and welcoming. Our suite was very large with all granite countertops in the kitchen and a lovely balcony. The landscaping on the beach side was gorgeous with lush green grass (difficult to find near the beach […] because of the sandy soil), palm trees, and hammock. I was most impressed with the fact that the resort was peaceful and uncrowded even thought it was on a weekend in August. The staff at the resort even had an umbrella, beach chairs, and a wakeboard in the suit so that guest could be comfortable beachside. I will definitely visit again! Devamı

I was very happy with the hotel. Staff was very friendly, rooms were clean, and the view was great!. I stayed with a few of my friends, and we would definitely go back for our next beach trip.

Place was a little better than expected. Rooms were very condo like and spacious with full kitchen. Decently clean. I was happy and I'm usually super picky.

every room is a gulf front room, large kitchens, washer and dryer, barbegue grill available, nice pool, rooms ending in numbers 7 and 8 overlook pool area. would definitely come back to stay again

The location of the hotel wad good easy access to dining and shops, johns pass. Cleanliness of the room and pool could have been better. Overall stay was pretty good.

My husband and I stayed here for a vacation and we were very impressed! The rooms were amazing and the kitchen was very nice and well stocked. The view was great and the beach was gorgeous and wasn't very crowded which was nice. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel!!

I booked this on line and selected it by the pictures. That always makes me nervous but I was very pleased with our accomodations. They were very clean. Convenient to nearby restraurants and shopping. Ocean view from the balcony was breath taking. The kitchen was fully stocked. All we had to do was bring our food. We've stayed here twice in the past couple of years. I understand it was renovated around 2006, everything still looks new. Landscaping is beautiful, rooms are very clean, view is top-notch as is the beach. Conveniently located, lots of stuff to do within walking distance. Would stay there again.

The beds were super comfortable and the view was incredible! We saw dolphins our first night!! The pool area was clean and the staff was very friendly & helpful!

Very well maintained and was just what we were looking for. The Beach itself was further away than we expected, but was OK. Eventhough it was on the Beach with a great view of the gulf, the trip accross the sand to get to the water was rather lenghtly.

Great apartment and great view from the balcony. It was the best experience for my family.

Room appeared great, nice new kitchen, but the metals dining room chairs and bar stools were wobbly and broken. The pool had numerous cracked tiles around the edge and a filthy line of black scrum around the interior water line. What a great place to stay! It was spacious and clean (contrary to some of the reviews) and I would definitely stay there again. There are some good restaurants right near by (Ricky T's, Middle Ground - not sure if I'm spelling the names right, etc.) or you can go over the bridge to John's Pass for chain and local restaurants too.
