. The bar behind the hotel was incredibly loud even at 1 am, that was annoying when trying to sleep. Also the breakfast was not good and there was not much variety.

the hotel was very clean, comfortable and nice. The buffett breakfast was an added bonus.

This hotel was built in the 1800, but has modern maintenance and is clean. Has an old fashion elevator with an operator. There is a garden bar with food and an inside bar of it's day. Very good place to stay if you are seeing Aiken.

Very old hotel but very nice for its age. Great part of town. Had a blast and would go back

Located in historic downtown Aiken with lots of restaurants, pubs, shops, etc. close by. We stayed in the old part of the hotel. Keep in mind this is an old historic building, maintenance, paint could be better although our room was clean and neat. Be aware that it can be noisy on a busy weekend with local live music in bars, but was not too bad for […] us and it was a busy weekend in town. The help really bent over backwards to make sure my stay at this hotel was something to remember. If you are looking for a quiet 4 star hotel, this is NOT it...if you are looking for a place to party...stay here.

Old and out dated. Carpets extremely old and dirty. Water spots in ceiling tiles. Leaky shower with no water pressure. We will never start there again.

Great character in the main building. You can feel the age without it being run down. Very nice to have shops and restaurants within walking distance, and the bars downstairs have great staff.

The location of this hotel could not have been more convenient to local shops and restaurants! We did not have to move our car the whole weekend. The hotel looks lovely from the exterior, but badly needs a little tender loving care inside. The ancient elevator was not working, employees had no uniforms, and carpets were horrible! The free breakfast […] was served in a very messy area- not so good. The sheets were clean, beds were comfy, and bathrooms were very clean though! Location can't be beaten, but be prepared for a "sketchy looking place". I would return... in spite of appearances, though. Devamı

The price and location was good. If your a party going person its perfect. They need a lot of updates to the room. It's a historical hotel, that's all I can say.

If you're looking for fancy or swanky - don't come to Hotel Aiken. BUT a nice, affordable room in a really cute town is what you'll get. Staff super nice:)

The hotel has the quaint feel with in a historical town setting. The hotel has the old style look but with character. The room was clean. It looks like it is time for redecorating as hotels/motels do every so many years but we do not stay in the room other than to sleep. Weekends are active in the town. Lots of parties going on at all corners including […] the hotel with a live band. Music goes till 1:30 but we did not hear it in our room so the walls are old and thick. We are in our 60's yet were in the middle of the crowd having fun for a period of time. The next morning at 7:00 you could not tell there were hundreds of people out parting all night. The clean up crew in the hotel and in the streets did a great job to bring the place back to its day time character. Breakfast was the usual southern flare with biscuits and gravy plus all the other fixins. Will stay here again without question. Just remember, you are not checking into the Ritz. This could be a Comfort Inn with all the historical character and southern friendliness. Also the entire downtown area is great for the food and stores. I would stay again. The only unfortunate incident that occurred one night at the drinking area. Our room being directly across from it, we realized that someone had a little too much to drink and there was a noisy break up between the two and the several that held them apart. Very good room for the price. Will stay again

It is an older hotel, but very nice and comfortable for the price. Was pleasantly surprised. Will be staying again when in town.

There is no water in the morning because of the city shut down that day. It was noisy at night.

Sheets were stained and had holes. Had a roach in the bathroom. The towels had long black hairs on them (we were both blond). The one elevator was out. Dirty silverware in the dirty tray at breakfast. Watered down coffee. When they say it will be noisy on Saturday night they mean it!

It met expectations for price. Convenient. Friendly staff.

The rooms were nice and clean, close to everything. We had the missfortune to be right across from the bar which was noisey until 2 am but, the breakfast was great and so where the rates!

Stayed for a night and had a pleasant stay. Room was clean and the noise level was little to none. Convenient location right in the heart of Downtown Aiken. Overall, it was a good stay.
