I booked and paid for a deluxe King room. I was given a smaller room and the hotel wheeled a cot into the room to make up for the screwed up reservation. With the cot, there was no room and no where to walk. The receptionist said she would speak with the manager. that didn't happen. we reported ants in our room and no one came. "Holiday Inn Express - White River Jun: Winner!"
All praises for this hotel. Check-in was easy. Very courteous and very helpful. Property is very clean. Not that far from attractions - Woodstock village, Quechee Gorge, Kancamangus byway, etc.... Near stores likw Walmart, etc

This was a basic hotel - just what you would expect for the price. Everything was fine. Breakfast good - what was advertised/
"Started rough but all better"
Had a problem with the reservation. The desk clerk tried mightily to fix when I checked in. Although she was unsuccessful it was apparent she had my interests at heart. Next day found out it was their computer. All fixed. I will strongly consider Holiday Inn Express in the future. Good Value!
"Quiet with a good breakfast"
We stayed for Dartmouth's parents weekend. The hotel was sold out but quiet. The breakfast was better than most free continental breakfasts I have seen. The room had a microwave and small fridge. The room was a bit small but fine. I would stay there again.

"clean and new"
Worth the money because its not a luxury hotel but its new and clean which makes a huge difference when you are staying at a cheap hotel. I've stayed at places for the same price that were total dives, so this place is worth the money. great continental breakfast too.

"Stopover on our trip, nice place."
Very nice, new hotel or newly renovated.Looked great inside & out. Short drive into New Hamshire to restaurants, shopping, & grocery store.Parking garage was provided at no additional cost; well lit and elevator accessed with room key only.Room was deluxe king guest room.A bit pricier than some of our stops on this trip, but description of room meant […] full kitchen with adjoining sofa bed/living area.We liked the full kitchen and opted to go to grocery store instead of eating out this night.Very helpful & courteous staff.Would stay here again on our next visit to New England. Looks like a new hotel, extremely clean, and very friendly staff. The only complaint that I had about the hotel is that it was the heating. Even with the air turned on in the room, the room was always warmer than I would have liked it. Had to keep the windows open up at night to be able to breath.
"cheap and perfect"
I had low expectations, having never been to White River Junction before, but the rooms were huge, the staff was great and informative about restaurants and taxi service and the breakfast buffet, while typical, was good. Best hotel experience in some time.

Hotel overall was usual HIE quality - comfortable, clean, good breakfast. Sadly no pool at this hotel! Try to avoid a room near the exit stairs - they are uncarpeted and we were disturbed by people coming and going either late evening or early morning. In fairness on checkout we were given compensation.

"great hotel for the $$"
we were visiting Dartmouth College and this hotel was a great place to stay for the money and the breakfast was excellent!!

"Nice hotel for about average price"
Absolutely nothing to complain about, and everything is as expected from a Holiday Inn Express. Facility is fairly new, and the underground covered parking is definitely a plus. Room was slightly larger than typical and well appointed. Amazing free breakfast. This place is worth the money.

"Nice...If You Can Find It!"
You basically need a road map to find this very nice hotel, tucked away behind and between other hotels...and very inadequate signage to let you know how to get there from any accessable street or highway. There's also an indescript, closed restaurant in front of the hotel...and a closed car dealership next door. We really liked the drive-in underground […] parking lot and the desk clerk was friendly and helpful. Lack of any on-site swimming pool was a distraction, although you COULD use the pool in the adjacent hotel if you wanted to walk there. Devamı
