Travelodge Golden Gate - San Francisco

Travelodge and hotels.com websites state this hotel offers free continental breakfast: "Free Continental Breakfast includes a variety of cereal, fruit juices, fresh brewed coffee, hot oatmeal, bagels, pastries and fresh fruit." Obviously this is not a 5 star hotel but for what a Hotel is suppose to be, to sleep, it's fine. The neighborhood is nice surrounded by restaurants and happening bars.

It's a "nothing fancy" hotel but the location is perfect for walking around San Francisco's Marnia area. Lots and lots of great eating places were no more than a couple of blocks away. The room is kind of small, the TV was funky, but over a good place to stay for what we paid.

I thought the room was great for the price and loved the location. All the other hotels in the area were much more. We only wanted a place with a bed and didn't spend much time in the room so it was perfect for us.

Free parking, cheap and Clean. I prefer money in my pocket to spend than paying over rated hotels. Good value for money

The hotel was in a hot location. I came here after staying downtown at the Palace, so I expected the location in the Marina district to be crappy - but to my surprise, there are a ton of restaurants and shops and bars within walking distance, and a decent nightlife without even needing to get a cab!

Room was clean, but there was trim missing, the floors creaked and had low spots everywhere. It had a fridge but it didn't work. Extremely noisy from the street. stairs to levels were wobbly and structurally unsound. No security - had a hoard of derelicts knocking on my door at 2am looking for money handouts - would not go away, had to threaten to call […] the cops before they would leave. Ice machine broken. Beds were hard and uncomfortable. Had I not paid in advance, I would have left the first night. Horrible experience. will NOT stay again. about the ONLY thing going for this place was its location. I have stayed at several Travelodges before and even for a Travelodge this was by far the worst. Devamı

The staff was polite and helpful. The hotel isn't the nicest, but for the price I paid, it was worth every penny. They've clearly made attempts to keep the rooms up to date and comfortable. Perfect location and perfect price! Not an extremely fancy hotel but it's close enough to everything and there is a 24 hour ihop across the street. Me and my boyfriend also requested an extra two nights when we arrived to the hotel one night before our reservation and we were accomodated greatly! I loved staying here and probably will everytime!

What a great location! As far as the noise that some complain about...they are street facing rooms, what do you expect. The only downfall was a door that smelled like bo. The room smelled fine, it was just the paint on the outside of the door. The room was perfect, the price was right and again the location was amazing. Within a mile of everything. […] We loved it. The location was perfect for the party I was attending at Green's Restaurant in Fort Mason, and I was very comfortable. Thank you.

This was our second stay at this hotel. The room is plain but clean and great if your just looking for a safe place to sleep and see the city. It is close to public transportation and the staff couldn't be friendlier or more helpful.

Ther was a lot of trafic noise from lombard stree. Location however very nice. walking distance to golden gate 5K and fishermans warf. very polite and helpfull staff. excelent location and good value for the money.

Other than carpet being a little worn, the room was large, amazing quiet for the busy street, coffee was excellent in the little pot, we had a microwave and refrig.; bed and bedding comfortable. The location is so exceptionally good with so many eateries and ATMs around, all easy walking distance.

I wasn't expecting too much, considering how expensive other rooms in the area were. But I chose it because of its location and free parking. The parking spaces barely fit a compact car, so those with SUVs or minivans should think twice. Inside the room, there was barely enough room for 4 people to move around (we got the room with 2 queens), and they […] only left us 2 towels. The worst part however was the a/c. Despite the hotel's description claiming there was one, all it was was a fan (did not cool at all). We didn't feel comfortable opening the windows either because there wasn't even a screen on it. My expectations weren't high to begin with, but I highly doubt I'd stay here again. Devamı

Das Hotel liegt etwas ausserhalb, in nächster Nähe sind genügund Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten vorhanden. In ca. 3/4 h Fussmarsch erreicht man den Hafen, wie z.B. Fishermanswarft oder Pier 39. Das Zimmer wurde täglich gereinigt und war sauber. Vor dem Gebäude ist ein Parkplatz vorhanden. Das Gebäude ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, jedoch Preis/Leistung […] stimmt. Ich würde das Hotel wieder buchen. Devamı

Posizione non centrale, ma ben servito dal bus n* 30, dietro l'angolo, che praticamente porta direttamente a tutte le attrazioni turistiche in una decina di minuti. Stanze pulite, non pretenziose ma assolutamente decorose. Parcheggio comodo nel cortile, disponibile ed efficiente il servizio alla reception, che però funziona solo fino alle 7 di sera […] . Devamı

Если вы были в одном отели то вы были во всех. Это типичный отель не каких излишеств, на пару дней вполне можно остановиться.

Det du trenger av et hotell til en god pris, gratis parkering.

Ett hotell med lättåtkomligt läge vare sig man kommer från golden gate eller flygplatsen. En taxi kostar 10-12$ fram till union st. även om hotellet ser oansenligt ut på utsidan, så är rummen ganska ok. parkering ingår vilket är ett plus.

The central city is reached in 5-10 minuttes by bus, right outside hotel. Very polite staff. Ok for four persons for staying at nights. Restaurants and shops right outside hotel

I suppose we got, what we paid for, but considering the number of motels on Lombard Street, this is not necessarily the best choice. We got a nice welcome and a lot of help, we got our free parking spot and the internet worked fine. But: It was the smallest room, we had seen on a three weeks journey (even smaller than in N.Y.), the towels were thin, […] the icemachine permanently out of order and so on. Feels like a run down place. Okay for a few days, but I will not recommend it. Look for better offers... Devamı
