Sunset On The Beach Resort - Negril

Ideal location for the beach and nearby Negril town. Breakfast service was a little slow but not a concern when you are on vacation. Only problem was loud music into the early morning from other local beach events and worst was the beach music event at the hotel which went on until 4:30 am - take your ear plugs. Loved our room and view. Staff were friendly and helpful.Security was good at night and room had a secure keyed room safe.The next hotel lot to the south looks like it was in the process of being cleaned up after it was tore down so in that direction the view was not great. All the other directions the view was good. Took lots of walks on the beach […] and felt safe. Near lots of places to eat and shop. Look forward to returning. Only complaint was had a balcony door that did not lock and still was not fixed by time we left. Devamı

I really enjoyed my stay at Sunset on The Beach, The Breakfast was so good I really enjoyed it. The staff was very nice. I am plannning to stay at sunset when I return in April.

I was misinformed by the booking agent about whether there was a refrigerator in the room I booked. The agent assured me that there was one in the room. When I arrived and asked the front desk agent about it and explained I needed it for medication, she was extremely nasty and told me if I wanted one I'd have to pay $10 per day, PERIOD. She remained […] nasty the entire visit. There was another front desk agent name Nichola, I believe, and she was very professional and polite. The maintenance guy Sean was also professional and kind. Goodin was a very sweet man, I think he was Security. The loud music from the park near by went on well into the morning making it extremely difficult to rest, before a long day excursions. I went to Sun Set on the Beach with fiance and both of our families in January 2012. I read all of the reviews and was a bit apprehensive because of all the mixed reviews. We decided to go ahead and book anyway. The hotel is one of the last ones on the seven mile beach and well within walking distance to downtown. I think that the hotel was a great […] bargain and there are already talks of us returning. The food as really good and the service was as well. We were having trouble with our air conditioning at first but the staff got it fixed surprisingly quickly. The only downfall was their as a small frog in our bedroom the first night which freaked me out a little but I would definitely recommend the hotel to others. Devamı

The women who worked at the hotel complained when they had to clean the room, I heard her complain 'why I could tidy up my own room some'! The sheets that were on the bed had ink and mildew stains. When I told the lady to change the sheets she said she couldnt because they change it every 3 days. I found that very gross. I had to complain about the […] air-condition to many times. Devamı

beach towels have to be requested at the front desk, even though the hotel is on the beach. guests have to sign in at the front desk. "free" breakfast is served but like in a restaurant, not buffet style, so a tip is expected. no extras, just the bare minimum stuff. no map to step on in the bathroom - just 2 towels, no shampoo or lotion in bathroom […] - just bar soap. Great staff. Nice "small" intimate feel.... You are taken care of to the best of their ability. Sunsets are phenomenal. Perfect place to relax and unwind.

Our stay at this hotel was nice. You get what you pay for. I was actually upgraded to bigger room and therefore had alot more space however the lack of security made me very uneasy at night. Anyone can pretty much walk on the property and I didn't like that. A few times I noticed tourist who didnt even stay at the hotel were able to walk on property […] and then proceed to beach. The beach here was the best I saw along the 7 mile. I took some beautiful sunset pictures. Food was ok all in all clean but lack of security is a deal breaker for me Devamı

This was our second time at Sunset on the beach so I knew what to expect. We stayed September 16-20 and had a blast. Guess what? It is off season, so the hotel was almost empty. We asked for every amenity that did not come with the room and received it. Including a fridge. I like empty dining rooms at breakfast and having the beach to ourselves. A few […] guests did show up during our stay but we rarely saw them. No lizard creeped in under the door this tima around, though that did not stop me from returning. The staff remembered us and gave us plenty hook ups. I saw the other post about getting robbed in the middle of night. I did not believe it and went anyway. There are so many inside locks on the door, who would not close their door at night??? There is security on the premises, I felt safe and so did my family. I left my laptop in my room everyday and even forgot my jewerly on the table one day. It was there when I returned. So overall this is a good hotel to stay in for the price and their beach is wonderful!!!Really and I am a Jamaican. Peace out, but margaritaville sucked Devamı

Nuestra estancia fué muy agradable y todo el personal muy atento, en especial Ricardo que nos arregló todo lo que le pedíamos, tratando de ayudar en lo posible, el inglés jamaiquino es bastante más cerrado a veces se dificulta el entendimiento pero hacían lo mejor.Sólo una fuerte crítica a la dueña del lugar quien teniendo la habitación pronta y a punto […] de ser entregada por los empleados los frenó de malas maneras hablándoles mal delante de nosotros e impidiendoles darnos la habitación , que esperaramos hasta después del mediodía, sólo porque sí!!! Sunset on the beach resort on aivan ihana! Henkilökunta on aivan mielettömän ystävällistä ja iloista, aamupala todella hyvää ja ihana että mahdollisuutena on saada Jamaikalainen aamupala joka aamu! Ranta on todellakin ihan vieressä, aamu-uinnilla voi käydä joka aamu meressä muutaman askeleen päässä! Negrilin pieni ostari on ihan kävelymatkan päässä. […] Sunset on the cliffs on enemmän sitten bilepaikka illalla, jolla on sama omistaja, ja sinne on ilmaiset kuljetukset joka ilta.
