The coffee teapot in my room was dirty. I asked for a clean one but the hotel was reluctant to replace a new one. After I cleaned the teapot myself, I found the coffee maker was totally out of order.

This is a VERY BAD hotel right at the entrance of Chinatown. I came with a group of researchers to attend a conference at Mccormick Convention Center, Chicago. The night we came, we realized these guys don't have their own parking. The street on which this hotel is located is a shady one. The Chinese guy at the reception told me not to park the car […] in the street because he cannot guarantee the safety of our vehicle. Additionally, he came across as very rude. This place has no elevators (and they gave us a room on the fourth floor .... imagine climbing up the stairs with luggage after driving for 8 hrs.) and is not suited for people with disability. They don't even provide breakfast and their wireless internet was very pedestrian. The furniture in our room was either broken or very shaky. Rooms were too small and these guys don't even give you a pair of keys .... only one key for two people sharing a room. All in all it was a nightmare to stay at this hotel. Please don't think that I am a whiny picky guy. This hotel is really really bad.STAY AWAY !!!!! Devamı

This hotel is about the cheapest you'll find within a few miles of the Loop (downtown Chicago), but is in no way a "nice" place. It's run down, many things broken, not so clean, most everything is old (not in a charming, rustic way), and the staff was very rude. They did not have my confirmation when I arrived and I waited over an hour to check-in!! […] This may not be the hotel's fault, but the man at the front desk was completely and ridiculously rude. "I don't know...I don't care..." etc. I even speak some Mandarin, but even this wasn't very useful, as he had no interest in customer servce. Only stay hear if it's the only place you can find! Room was clean and quiet, but small by American standards. Any more than two people would have been a problem. Heat was by radiators with no controls - but we were always comfortable. No washcloths or hairdryers - bring your own. TV had two American stations - CNN and ESPN - but there was free wireless in the rooms and downstairs in the lobby and kitchen. […] A large kitchen was reminiscent of a hostel - with community refrigerator, ice maker, microwave and a couple pots for free tea and coffee. The staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions for dining and parking. Free parking on the street if you proceed further down the block. Inexpensive public parking also available a couple blocks away. Absolutely great selection of Chinese restaurants within walking distance in every direction. McCormick Place was a seven minute bus ride or a 15 minute walk from the hotel. I'll definitely be back. Devamı

I expected a inexpensive room which I got but this is truly a dump. the bathroom is hardly big enough for a midget! I was on the 3rd floor and this dump has no elavator! The carpeting on the stairs hasn't been cleaned in a hundred years. The bed was OK and that is about all I can say. Will I ever return? Heck no! I suppose you get what you pay for but […] I have paid similar room rates and enjoyed my stay and ammenites at other hotels. This place should be condemmed. Devamı

...for different folks. The price was right for a hotel near downtown. I was in town for a concert and spent very little time in my room. The room was small, dated, and nothing special. Walking up 3 flights of stairs after a long, exhausting night was no picnic. I wasn't a big fan of the location at night. Otherwise it was a charming area that seemed […] like it was straight from a movie. It was easy to find and there were tons of food places nearby. (Though I didn't see any that were open late at night.) Room was as clean as any other hotel I've been in but a little run down. China Town Hotel was the perfect fit for my son and I during our stay in Chicago. We were able to use the hotel and China Town as a home base for exploring and photographing Chicago using nearby public transportation. As for the room, we were quite comfortable in our twin beds. Listed below are the positive and negative features of the room. Positive: 1. […] Comfortable beds . 2. Warm bedding. 3. Good air conditioning 4. Good bathroom facilities. 5. Very little street noises. 6. Safe neighborhood. 7. Nearby subway. Negative: 1. No reading lamp. 2. TV had only 4 stations. This place sucked.

The rate is quite cheap for this place, and now I see why. No elevators, room was steamy hot upon arrival, about 4 English channels on TV, the rest in Chinese. The shower was very dirty looking. We stayed there due to proximity to McCormick Place, but will not do so in the future.

The hotel was quite but the businesses around the hotel were noisy in the morning. The hotel staff were nice and very helpful. But overall it was ok if you need a reasonably priced place to stay in Chicago.

This is a cheap hotel. It is perfect if you just want a home base while you explore Chicago. Decor looks like it has been the same since th 70's. The first room we were given had some issues: the shower door was broken off an leaning against the wall, the TV was broken and the phone had no cord. We were easily moved to another room but this kind of […] felt like the "sucker" room. Check around immediately. Their biggest concern was that we upset things in the 20 minutes we had the room and that the maid would have to go back in. There is a common room with 1 computer, some vending machines and an old man watching dirty, dirty porn. It was easy to get downtown. The hotel is a block away from the red line which has you downtown in minutes. Around the corner is a Chinese bakery that has some interesting and delicious items to try and was pretty cheap. Chinatown itself seemed pretty safe even at night but the more south we went the sketchier it was. Be smart and aware and you should have no problem. Devamı

The room was dirty. Bathroom was not clean. Lots of hair in the shower. We only need to sleep there a few hours but way to much money for the condition of hotel.

The rooms aren't the cleanest. the bedsheets were clean, as were the surfaces in the bathroom. The walls looked dingy and there was a layer of dust on the blinds. If you're ok with that and want a place that is inexpensive with quick access to downtown, this is the place for you

The Chinatown Hotels biggest perk? Location and price. For a hotel at this price it was a short drive from all the action. It is also on the red line train. With a CTA pass for $14, you can ride the rails for 3 days and never have to pay a cab. The rails will take you anywhere. On the downside, the room was very tiny, had a little desk, damaged nightstand, […] and a tiny TV with 6 channels - 2 were in Chinese. There was no alarm clock or lamp. There was a nasty earwig I found in the bathroom, too. The room did have remote controlled AC which was surprising and necessary in the 91 degree heat we endured all week. There was a substandard PC in the guest lobby with internet. Not a romantic getaway but a good budget deal. If you go, I recommend bringing your own sheets, lamp and alarm clock. Devamı

Narrow street with bumper to bumper cars parked on both sides made it almost impossible to park temporarily to unload luggage, clerk would not allow us to see the room before we had parked (three blocks away in the pouring rain) and of course paid, so we had to leave our luggage in an unsecured lobby. The hotel halls were narrow, dark, dirty, the stairway […] was narrow, dark, dirty (there was no elevator and we were on the third floor initially), the room was filthy with cockroaches and saturated carpeting, it was over 100 degrees in the room (we opened the windows to get air in because of the heat and stench. It was over 90 degrees outside and it was cooler then the room.) We went down to exchange rooms and the second room on the second floor was just as dirty, but I didn't find cockroaches. I kept my shoes on so I don't know if the carpet was dry in this room. The windows opened into a narrow alley and we heard loud neighbors, garbage cans, and sirens all night long (the fire department was 1/2 block away). There were minimal outlets to plug in our cell phones. I can't imagine if we had anything else to recharge. In the morning, my daughter woke up with bug bites all over her (bed bugs?). This place should be condemned. I can't believe, in this day and age when things are so strictly regulated, that establishments such as this, are allowed to remain open. Devamı

Unless your fine with extremely "no frills" hotels do not be tempted by this hotels price and mediocre review/ ratings. Service was friendly and I didnt feel unsafe, but hotel conditions were not good. In various locations the hotel smelled like cat urine. The bed was very hard and top cover was dirty. The hotel offered very few TV channels and most […] of them were asian. I also had severe allergy attacks whenever I was in my room. The bathroom was clean atleast. Most other hotels at this price in Chicago are rather seedy. This hotel offers clean rooms, conveniently located. Great place just to crash; however do not plan a romantic night in here. Perfect if you're going out most of the night and just need a clean bed and clean bathroom.

Good location, safe area, great food next door and convenient location to downtown. No parking lot but managed to find parking on the street. Room sparse and minimal but fine, especially if you just need somewhere to crash. Very minimal amenities provided but again there was nothing that was really missing either.

we staid there because it was sort of convenient to McCormick place and reasonably priced but the hotel didn't meet even minimum requirements. The place is run down, no elevator, dingy, banged up furniture, bad internet conncetion, and about 8 TV channels, 5 of them in Chinese, one in Spanish and the rest shopping channels. No hairdryer in the room […] (I scored one by calling reception, had to go down myself, though to pick it up because nobody could be bothered to bring it up), no light on the nightstand (annoying!), etc. My colleague came back one day to find the door to his room was wide open - apparently the cleaning personnel left it open to make it easier to go around and do their job. His computer was in there, other belogings, etc. nothing was missing but scary nonetheless. My room looked out on the street which ceated some issues with noise late at night but was a luxury suite compared to the one my colleague had which looked out onto a wall and was so small he could barely turn around. Most roadside motels are fancy compared to this hotel. Positive things: cheap for Chicago, lots of Chinese restaurants around, bed and bath reasonably clean. Devamı

I would not recommend this hotel to the non-adventurous. The benefit of staying here is LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. It is a block for the red line, which zips you to anywhere in the city, perfect for baseball fans. Parking is a bear and there are ZERO amenities, but everything worked at least. 芝加哥 CHINATOWN 酒店，地理位置不错，能吃到中国菜，离McCormick Place 比较近，打的5-8分钟程。房间还行，但房间隔音效果有点差。隔壁说话能听得到。

everything in bad condition, damge shower facilities, everything uncomfortable, and after change the second room, it had flea, it's a nightmare start, that flea go home with me and made a great great great problem to me. 好後悔因趕早機而沒有投訴,沒有得追究....... .

Hotel: Wer nicht unbedingt Wert auf absolute Sauberkeit legt und eine einfache Unterkunft zum schlafen und duschen sucht kann hier bedenkenlos einchecken. Preis/Leistung Ok. Negativpunkt: Laute Klimaanlagen direkt am Fenster, die auch nachts laufen (Sommer). Lage: Direkt am Eingangs-Tor zu Chinatown Chicago. Haltestelle zur Metro in unmittelbarer Nähe […] (Red-Line). In wenigen Minuten ist man in Downtown. Negativpunkt : Es riecht ständig nach asiatischer Küche in der Umgebung. Devamı

　China town の中に位置するのは大きなメリットです。朝食も近くの中華ベーカリーで極めて安価に済ませられます。ホテルのロビーに無料のコーヒーが朝７時から用意されているのもうれしいサービスでした。 　部屋の快適さはぎりぎりというところですが、料金を考えると贅沢は言えません。

Bom hotel pelo preço, não tem garagem, mas após as 21 horas o estacionamento na rua é liberado, até as 8 horas do dia seguinte, não tem café da manhã. Me hospedei pensando na localização que era próximo ao Centro de eventos de um Congresso.
