My family arrives on train, and we walked to the Hotel. No problem finding it at all, but the current road works make navigation with luggage a bit difficult. It is at the top end of the shopping belt and therefore a distance away from the old town, chateau and the beach. Walkable, but a distance nonetheless since we have young kids and older folks. Service […] is great, rooms are nice. Breakfast is good too. My room is near the top and it therefore has a slanted wood ceiling - be careful as I hit my head against it. The elevator is small so you may need a few trips is there are many people with many luggages. Great stay for us and well looked after and assisted. Devamı

Hotel was clean and employees were extremely courteous and helpful. My wife became ill during our trip and the staff was very helpful in accomodating us. The neighborhood is a bit iffy but its location was extremely convenient to transportation for the area

The Alba in Nice is a short walk away from the railway station. We were greeted by name when we arrived. The staff were very helpful and the hotel is situated in the main street so it was easy to get wherever we wanted to go. Room was clean, tidy. Air con did not work, but I managed to get the window open which called the room down. Perfect location near railway statation and tram stop.

Great for someone on a budget...needs a little renovation though. Staff are really nice.

This hotel is in a great location. Lots of shops, cages and restaurants nearby. Place Massena just a short walk away and the beach about 15 minutes walk away . The rooms were clean and comfy. Staff were pleasant and could speak English. Car parking facilities though not at the hotel were very nearby. Just 2 minutes away. Would go back.

Great Western Alba is only a few blocks away from train station. When you arrive at Terminal 2 hop on bus 99 and get off at Train Station (Gare) (better than 98 as this goes to bus station which is quite a walk) costs 4E, hold onto ticket as this allows you to use all day on the bus, tram network, but must validate on each journey. We found transport […] the best thing about Nice only 1E per journey (Take the 100 from Nice to Menton, which passes Villefranche, Monaco, Monte Carlo (1Hr) before going to Menton (didn't go this far but a large seaside town of recommendation apparently). Take the 200 to Cannes from bus station (2hrs) and the 400 to St Paul de Vence (1hr) all for 1E per journey (no returns in France only single) or 4E for the day (but unless you are going to a couple of places in 1 day we found the single Euro fare the best). There's a Carrefour in the shopping area in Cannes for cheap drinks & lunch. Mono Prix supermarket 2 min away from hotel, MacD's and KFC around corner. We found prices in Nice very expensive for meals. We hate a terrible small steak with lettuce and fries for 32E - rubbish. A small 25cl of lager cost 5E in restaurant in side street near Hotel - rip off as when checking prices in Cannes in fanstastic posh hotel on sea front this was cheaper at 4.5E! We refused to pay these silly prices & bought pizzas, batons, off stalls in old town (15min walk away not far from bus station) & salads & fruits from supermarkets. Hotel has tea/coffee makking but take own tea bags as they only give 2 & 4 small sachets of coffee & no china cups - plastic; glasses also plastic which I hated. Downsides of hotel - shower - could not tighten so flow of water on wall not on you; damp smell in bathroom; walls paper thin - could hear man next door on phone & also hear the person at other end of phone talking! We were in standard room on 4th floor so had a huge beam in room - had to duck to walk around bed - so ask for lower floor. Ask for kingsize bed - ours was fir Devamı

We spent 7 nights in Hotel Alba Best Western in Nice middle of September. We found the Hotel room very comfortable - a lovely room which may be soundproofed as it was one of the quietest hotels we have sayed in. Bed very comfortable - maybe a bit hard for some. I arrived a lil' bit earlier in the hotel around 11.30 AM from an early morning flight from CPH. I was totally tired (coming from a night shift work), did'nt have any sleep, was told to come back at 3pm (check-in in their homepage says 2pm). Thought that was a bit cheeky. The room was clean. Shower and toilet are separate. Lobby is small,nothing special. […] The two girls at the reception (a nice black girl and an east european looking one forgot their names) were quite helpful. Another receptionist (somewhat black guy) insisted on their tours few times, obviously on commision. He lacks customer service training. Forgot to mention,we could'nt find the airconditioning control knob on out 1st few days there,so i ended up having colds, twas extremely cold. We ate out for bfast. Their's costs 13 euros. Devamı

We were 4 Travelers who booked two double bedrooms, (we would be called ''silver surfers''). We stayed for 3 nights. If its location and comfort you are looking for, then look no further. although the hotel is in the center of Nice, the hotel rooms are at the back, so traffic is not a problem. The tram stops outside , it is a short stroll to the Train […] station, not far from the bus station by tram. and the staff a very friendly. This hotel is a little way from the old centre and the beach but within walking distance or there are two stops for the rail car within a couple of minutes walk. The hotel was comfortable and had an interesting view of the backs of apartment blocks. We enjoyed standing on the balcony and watching real life in Nice. The main train station is a short […] walk from the hotel (the reason we selected it). On the downside there didn't appear to be too many restaurants really handy but the choices lower down are wonderful. We didn't eat at the hotel because the price seemed a bit extreme for us. There seemed to be someone always on the main desk and they were happy to help. We really enjoyed our stay here and although the room wasn't huge we were very comfortable and it was really clean. I had high hopes coming to this hotel because of the positive reviews. Positive - it is really close to the train station. The bed wasr really hard. Every night was sleepless. If you are used to sleeping on the floor or a board, you will be OK. The weather was hot, but AC did not work for 3 nights. Unfortunatly, I had prepaid reservation and can not […] leave. The breakfast is overpriced, expect to spend around $50 for a breakfast for 2 people. Front desk staff barely speak English, and even when they tried to give me a directions, they were wrong. I've no hestiation in recommending Alba Hotel in Nice. It's a short walk from the Railway Station on the main street, central, and just a few minutes walk down the main street to the beach. This hotel was a great value...good location within a 10-minute walk to old Nice...clean, big room, which was rare for our visit to france...good internet service...and a friendly staff. I'd recommend it to friends.

This is a lovely hotel in the heart of nice. With plenty of shops and restaurants on your doorstep I don't think I could have found a better location. 10 mins walk to the beach too! Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything made you think it is more like a 4 star hotel. Would go back next time without hesitating. Top class!

We stayed in the Alba Hotel for a total of 6 nights. We found the hotel to be ideally located - we were within walking distance of the beach/promenade (though we did pop on the tram that ran outside the door if we were feeling lazy!), the railway station was also a 5 min. walk away. The hotel is located on a large pedestrianized shopping street.  […] We found the staff at the reception desk very polite and helpful. The room was spotless and comfortable (not a big room but plenty of space for two). The room we stayed in was lovely and quiet. We got a great night's sleep. Breakfast was excellent. We were staying in the hotel for the Formula 1 race in Monaco. Location was perfect. 3 Minuttes to the central station, nice little walk to the beach. Rooms were tall and decent, but nothing fantastic. Was in ok shape, but felt well used.

Hôtel situé au centre de Nice : très pratique pour tourisme et shopping. Petite chambre permettant difficilement de placer 2 valises. Placard avec penderie uniquement (pas d'étagères) ce qui n'arrange rien. Aménagement intérieur récent, donc sans reproche. Restaurant QUICK juste à côté au R.deC. : - odeur de friture dès que l'on ouvre la fenêtre - en […] ce qui concerne notre chambre au 2ème étage sur l'arrière : groupe de climatisation du QUICK juste sous notre fenêtre qui se met en route tous les 10 mn. Nous avons demandé à changer de chambre; cela était impossible car aucune chambre n'avait été préparée (10 chambres occupées) ! Comportement indigne de représentants d'une chaîne comme Best Western qui nous avait toujours donné satisfaction jusqu'à ce contre exemple. hotel tres bien place par contre il devrait negocier un prix pour un parking car du coup la parking public revient tres cher a la journee, plus de 30 à euros

Pour 3 personnes et un séjour d'une semaine les rangements étaient insuffisants. Nous avons apprécié le WC séparé et la grande salle de bain ainsi que le grand lit et le calme de l'hôtel. Ville animée en période de carnaval. Nous n'avons pas manqué de nous rendre dans les stations de ski très accessibles à la journée grâce aux bus qui partent tous les […] jours de la gare SNCF. L'hotel si trova a dieci minuti a piedi da Nizza Vecchia, ci sono anche i mezzi pubblici che fermano quasi davanti all' albergo, la camera era pulita e con l'indispensabile, il personale ègentile e disponibile, alcuni parlano molto bene l'italiano

Et hotel vi gerne anbefaler til andre. Et personale der yder et meget højt serviceniveau, samt en god atmosfærre .

Et rigtig godt hotel til prisen, som ligger midt i Nice centrum hvor der er nem adgang til hovedbanegården og sporvogne, strand og gode butikker, dog undrer det mig at morgenmaden som man skal tilkøbe er så kedelig til prisen.

Vi reiste med 1 barn på drøyt ett år, og var meget fornøyd med hotellet. Rommene var fine og relativt store, og standarden var høy, med aircondtion og fint bad. Vi spiste frokost på hotellet, det var flere steder i nærheten som tilbød frokost til nesten 1/3 av hotellets pris.

Very convenient for short stay. Some noise from street and hard beds, but excellent cleaning and forthcoming staff. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, due to experiences from other hotels (***) . Recommendable!

tres bien situe, transport en commun proche, situation parfaite pour ceux qui veulent rapidement se trouver au centre ville

We stayed for one night and we got surprised when we got there. The lobby seems simple but the rooms are very nice and modern so there's nothing to complain about there. The staff is very nice and friendly. The only thing i didn't like was that they didn't say anything about that breakfast wasn't included. While checking in they said; Breakfast is served […] tomorrow morning between these hours. And when we checked out we had to pay a ridiculous amount for what you got. So next time, because i'll come back to this hotel, i'll rather eat breakfast on one of the nice cafées that are around. Devamı

Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Läget är centralt och bra.

１階（ロビー階の上）の部屋は、広いテラスがあり、町で惣菜やお酒を買って、そこで食べるのは気楽で気持ちのよい場所でした。海は見えませんが、気候がよく、静かな場所なので、夜でも良い時間が過ごせます。 地下の駐車場は周囲の相場より安く、夜間は施錠もされるため安心です。 ロビーも部屋も改装され、設備も新しく趣味も良く快適です。

Hotellet ligger i hoved handlegate og passe gåavstand til gamlebyen og stranden. Vi anbefaler storbyferie for voksne på dette hotellet.

está ubicado muy cerca de la estación de trenes de Niza, entonces no era necesario tomar un taxi o un tram. tuvimos unos pocos problemas con el aire acondicionado cuando llegamos pero lo solucionaron de inmediato. eramos 3 personas alojando juntas y cuando llegabamos en la noche despues de recorrer estaba todo ordenado y muy limpio. las personas en […] la recepcion son muy amables y dispuestas a ayudar en todo.
