    We were there for my niece's wedding. The room was ready prior to check in time which was a welcome event after out long drive to Lufkin. The room was... very nicely appointed, immaculate, and very comfortable. the complimentary breakfast was much appreciated prior to our departure. Hotel staff was clean and friendly. Our Lufkin hotel is ideally located on Highway 59 in Lufkin, adjacent to the Crown Colony Country Club, as well as across the street from Angelina College. Situated behind four restaurants, guests can easily walk to their choice of Ralph and Kacoos Seafood Restaurant, Cotton Patch Cafe, McDonalds or Subway. Our boutique style hotel is the perfect getaway for business and leisure travelers alike. Newly renovated, we are now 100 percent non-smoking. We also offer free WiFi, an outdoor pool with putting green, a free hot breakfast featuring a waffle station, sausage, biscuits and pastries. Our friendly staff and beautiful accommodations helped us to receive the highest award in the Best Western Family, the M.K. Guertin award, in 2012.     The room was nice, but the hotel lobby smelled of smoke. The tub didn't drain properly. It was difficult to pull the shower knob and turn the shower on.

    This hotel was very nicely kept and very clean. The room had a ceiling fan, which I've never seen before in other hotels. I felt safe and comfortable as I was traveling alone. It was very quiet. It has two restaurants and two fast food places within walking distance (no need to cross streets). I would definitely stay here again.

    Worth every penny!!!This was the nicest Best Western we've stayed in! The hotel was in a great location, very clean,and the staff was so helpful! They put alot of thought into this hotel. The breakfast was very nice. I have 3 kids and there was something each of them enjoyed! There was not alot of noise even though it seemed pretty busy.     My Husband and I stayed while in town for a wedding, we had only planned to stay 1 night because we had family we could stay with in the next town over, but the 1st night was so wonderful the room was cozy and comfortable that we stayed another night.     Stayed one night to attend high school graduation and hotel was very clean and was in a great location. Check in was very quick even though I made a change from King to 2 Queen beds. Would definitely stay in the hotel if I return to the area.

    Town Center was very bustling and fun to be in and have the hotel right there was fantastic. Wonderful shops and restarants, a wonderful square full of events made hanging out there exceptional. Glad Starbucks was next door for free wifi.

    If you happen to find yourself needing lodging in Lufkin, then the Best Western Crown Colony is your best choice. Located just south of the mall and surrounding restaurants, the hotel is an excellent place to relax among the tall pine trees of east Texas.
