It is very close to star fairy. You can go to Wanchai in ten minutes. Room size is very large for HK hotels. I will stay again in my next HK visit.

When I made the booking I knew this was a convenient location for the things our family wanted to do in Hong Kong. I only found out it was the former Xinua News Building. I began to anticipate rabbit warren sized rooms. We were happy to see that the rooms were simply, but nicely decorated. We had two queen size beds; they were firm and comfortable. […] The bathroom was a bit plain and there was a problem with the shower curtain/bath tub design as the water went everywhere - easily solved by laying out the towels before showering. Breakfast was included, but was nothing special - the dim sum was terrible. Regular restaurant service (lunch and dinner) was a much higher standard and has a good reputation amongst people living in Hong Kong. Wifi is an extra charge in the rooms but free in the lobby and hotel restaurant so the guests are all busy on their electronic devices. The hotel staff were alert to guest reqirements without being overly solicitous. This hotel doesn't have the bells and whistles of 5 star hotels in Hong Kong but was very comfortable for the week we spent in Hong Kong. Convenient shuttles, too! Devamı

WE HAD A TERRIFIC STAY AT TO COSMOPOLITAN. THE HOTEL WAS GOOD AND THE BREAKFAST WAS VERY GOOD. NOT OVER THE TOP BUT GOOD EDIBLE FOOD. THE SHUTTLE BUS WAS EXCELLENT. WHAT A GREAT SERVICE. THE TRAM WENT DOWN TOWN FROM OUTSIDE THE FRONT DOOR. WE COULD WALK DOWN TOWN FOR OUR EVENING MEAL AND IT WAS A 10 MINUTE WALK. THE SHUTTLE BUS STOPED AT TIME SQUARE […] AND THE MTR STATION IS RIGHT THERE.WHAT A FANTASTIC TRAIN SYSTEM. ALL IN ALL A GOOD STAY. Devamı

Very expensive room rate, but more importantly the hotel was clean although the rooms on the small size. I did not like the shower stalls which were too small and very small. Otherwise good hotel, due to fair over priced.

Ideal hotel for going to the Races but very busy, small rooms but very clean, cheaper rooms at the rear have no window, just frosted glass, very comfy bed, an awkward 15 mins walk from the nearest metro station, best to arrive by taxi, hotel was very busy with international 1 and 2 night stay tourists, but it's literally across the street from the Happy […] Valley Racetrack. Would recommend the Hotel Walden on Henessey Road, much better location and rooms just as nice if not nicer. Devamı

I have stay both at Cosmos and Cosmopolitan. I prefer Cosmos a lot better. Better furnishing better service and not to mention a bit cheaper.

I have stayed at this hotel before. Service is good but they always seem to be busy. The shower is tiny but everything worked and the room was clean. The one thing I noticed on both my stays here, it is difficult to get a taxi. During rush hour you will stand there for a long time waiting for an available taxi. This hotel is in a decent location at a very reasonable price. The hotel is located in Wan Chai which is a bit of a distance from the Central area but they run various shutttles or you can get a #10 bus downtown in 15 minutes. The hotel staff were very helpful in answering our questions.

decent location, very fair pricing; main complaint would be uncomfortable mattress. all else was good.

To meet guests’ personal preference of the softness on the mattress, an additional topper is always available upon request. in addition, Cosmopolitan Hotel extensively offers a complimentary pillow menu of 11 choices including scented pillow, echo pillow, rock pillow and feather pillow to indulge our beloved guests. It was nice to stay in a hotel that felt comfortable while being affordable. The rooms are average size (reasonably large compared to some hoitels I have stayed in Hong Kong). The Cosmopolitan is handy to Wanchai and Causeway Bay shopping areas without being right in the midst of things, much more relaxing. It is a nice hotel, room was comfortable and […] very clean, and the bathroom was a much better size than many (I have previously had to stand on the toilet to shut the bathroom door just so I could get into the shower in some hotels). They have a shuttle bus which goes into Wanchai and to the MTR every 1/2 hour or so though it is only really a 5 minute walk anyway. I tried the breakfast one morning, good selection of different types of food as well as eggs cooked to your liking to order on the spot for you. Devamı

"Not bad for the price but not spectacular"

Tidy and not too old hotel opposite the racecourse. Bit of a struggle to get to when wheeling bags from the nearest MTR Station given the stairs and tunnels. A good 5-10 minute walk to Times Square and the Causeway Bay station.
Thank you for your comments, even though the hotel is only mere away from both Causeway Bay (8 minute walk) and Wan Chai (5 minute walk), in order to allow our guests could access in and out with luggage and children, Cosmopolitan Hotel also offers complimentary shuttle bus services contains 5 routes and directly to 15 hot spot in town including Causeway Bay, Wan Chai, Admiralty and Central. in addition, for guests who are eager to experiences a local uniqueness, a tram station is stop at hotel’s door step, certainly give you a muss and fuzz free trip in town.

The hotel was excellent, despite the small rooms - which I would imagine are common in most Hong Kong hotels. The customer service was excellent. Stayed there 7 nights. Upgraded to city view which included breakfast. Great hotel, great value. Breakfast selection was decent but it was convenient to have it ready downstairs. We didn't leave the hotel in the morning hungry which was awesome. Hotel provided four different types of bottled water for free everyday. For the price we paid on Hotels.com, the hotel was above our expectations. Breakfast was superb,the view was breathtaking and the staff were always on hand to sort out any questions we had. Thoroughly recommended to anyone.

A small room with inadequate furniture located between a graveyard and heavily used tunnel on the one side and screeching lifts on the other certainly does not deserve any praise. The lobby was so unattractive that even a short stay in there was stessful. There was no room for taxis to stop in front of the hotel that made getting in or out of taxis […] dangerous. A month ago I had the most excellent stay at this hotel. Now my view is not so rosy. We came quite late, so we got a standard room, next to the elevators, and a tinted window prohibiting us from looking out, on the 7th floor...no mentioning of this when boking. So please be aware you ask about details of your room in order not to be disappointed

The customer service at this hotel is amazing! From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave, the service is impeccable. The doormen carry your baggage for you from the car and even deliver it to your room. They are quick to help at any moment with walking or bus routes to popular shopping areas. Didn't tell us we had to pay for every local phone calls. We were at Nathan Hotel 5 days before I moved into Cosmopolitan. The former didn't charge us phone calls and was better equipped and roomier. I didn't like the closet which is too small for 2 people and hard to get clothes out. Pillows are too soft and I felt my head just sank into it. Please tell the hotel to place a stainless steel bowl of ice in the centre of the bowl of butter so that it wouldn't melt.The breakfast experience would be much better. The breakfast served was basic but with good quality and made everyone felt at home.

The hotel is a little small and old, location is not the bet or easiest to access but it was relatively cheap. Also be aware that all standard rooms face a cemetery and there is no choice. As a business person the location was not good - otherwise it was fine

Shuttle bus service within hong kong island is very convenient, especially the connecting service from HK station to hotel at L2. Make it seamless travel from airport to hotel. The hotel staff is friendly and make effort to explain in detail the information needed. Highly recommend!
