the hotel was very nice. staff was great. we were only there for a night, and just thought for the price we paid, there would be something "more". ie breakfast perhaps? it is "just" bay city.

My wife and I took a quick overnight trip to the Bay City / Saginaw area for some Christmas shopping and to get away from the kids. The hotel was great overall, although we did not have time to use all it had to offer. The staff was friendly and the place was very clean. Our Doubletree experience was absolutely wonderful. As soon as we walked in we knew we were in a special place. It was so elegant, so inviting, Every employee greeted us with a 'hello' and a smile. Our check-in took just seconds and we were on our way to our riverfront room. The room was immaculate and so tastefully furnished. The bathroom was roomy […] and had a wonderful shower and fragrant soap and shampoo. The hot tub was so relaxing. Its nice to see the hotel 'going green' with their recycling efforts. We shared the hotel with two weddings during our stay and other than seeing them in the lobby, we weren't otherwise aware of late music or partying guests in the living area. A special treat was seeing four large Great Lakes steamboats moving up and down the river. We hadn't expected that at all. We'll be back soon. Devamı

Very happy with our stay at the Double Tree by Hilton in Bay City. The location by the water & the grounds were excellent. The neighbourhood was quiet & staff friendly. We would stay there again if in that area

Staff was very helpful in providing directions to places we wanted to get to. Were very attentive. Food was excellent. Pool area was very clean and a great place to refresh as we were there during a heat wave . Temp. was 97 on the day we checked in. It was nice to walk along the water and enjoy the breeze.

The Double Tree...is a hotel...nothing more, although it is very high priced. Problems: Bathrooms have no fan...steaming and steamed up mirrors. Bathrooms have no heater...since the room has AC, the lack of a heater in the bathroom adds to the steaming and its a chilly place to dress Restaurant...surprising slow service and lack of uniformity...one […] person has water and a bread basket...at the other end of the table, water came with the salad course. Rooms are nice. There are no in room safes, you must use safe deposit boxes at desk. Not convenient for changing jewelry. They could also use lighted makeup mirrors for mature ladies. Staff are very friendly and cookies are good.

City View also includes view of roof with HVAC units. 12:20 at night there was a worker power washing the vents on the roof, woke us up! I DID NOT like the parking accommodations at all! They should restrict parking in their lot closet to the entrance to hotel guests only! Had only 3 towels in our room for 4 guests. I guess my expectations of a Hiton […] were too high. Devamı

Restaurant was very good, however it would have been nice to have a complimentary breakfast buffet like so many of the other hotels in the Hilton family.

Great value for the money, great location, super friendly staff. My only complaints are 1.) I found a laundered sock in my bed that wasn't mine. At least it was clean . . . 2.) The pool was freezing cold. I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Absolutely beautiful pool area and exercise facilities, nice restaurant (little pricey), beautiful if somewhat small-ish rooms. The staff were spot on.

Rarely do I say a bad comment about any place but this was a nights stay that I got very little sleep (and being that is what the hotel business is here for this was worth noteing). We requested waterfront and received a room with a view of "rooftop air conditioning units 15 foot outside the window" (room 229). It was a serious let down but not the […] biggest problem. The laundry room was the other side of the wall from our headboard so we heard machinery running all night. The in-room heat was extrembly loud and turned on repeatedly all night because we stayed here in the middle of winter. I can say the room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable too, so basically "noise" was the biggest hassle, if your a heavy sleeper you'd be fine. All the personnel were courteous, and the hotel is beautifully decorated. Devamı

My sister and I were planning an overnighter in Frankenmuth, but all hotels there were booked. We decided to try Bay City on the recommendation of a friend. How lucky for us! All of our expectations were exceeded one hundredfold! Everything was perfect! We got luxury at a bargain price...the room was immaculate, and the bed was soooooo comfortable. […] I'm just sorry I didn't book a second night! If you are staying in the Bay City Area, I would highly recommend this hotel! The staff was super friendly. We enjoyed our stay at the Double Tree very much. The location was great! It was near many downtown establishments to which we could walk and the hotel was next to a pretty riverfront park. The room was very clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Within walking distance of an extremely quiet street lined with restaurants and bars. The double/double room was large, clean and comfortable. A very, very nice room overlooking the Saginaw River and a well maintained lawn and park type area. The staff was excellent in offering support and helpfulness. The room was spotless and the service and food in the restaurant very good. I enjoyed my stay there and would book here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend.

Publicly used areas were serviced often - pool and hot tub were clean and not crowded at all. The room was nice, great view of the river, and clean. They had a great gym also. Everything was nice except the public hot tube. I have never been in a hot tub that was a filthy as this one. In certain areas the soap suds were over 4 inches tall. I contacted maintenance who came down and sprayed a defoaming agent on the soap suds which basically did nothing. The primary reason for my picking the Doubletree was that they had a hot […] tub. This hotel was more than expected. Rooms were clean. Beds very comfortable and the view of the river was spectacular. We even got to see a small barge go down the river. The breakfast was fantastic.
