Perfect Hotel to stay if you're planning to visit Legoland. I wish we could stay longer. Our kids loved the waffles. There is no dinner service as mentioned in some earlier messages.

In Carlsbad, everything’s coming up buttercups. These flowers cover 50 acres at The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch. Nearby, the Museum of Making Music highlights American composition and instruments. Directly north, Oceanside is midpoint between Los Angeles and San Diego. This beach town is known for its 1,954-foot pier, the longest wooden pier in the West Coast. Legoland theme park is nearby.

I had a great stay and the staff was very accomodating. They were very social and pleasant. I even had to shorten my stay by one day, and they were happy to accomadate my change. I would certainly recommend staying at this hotel again.

"La Quinta Inn - Better Inside than Out"
This hotel is very nice inside, looks brand new, good quality furnishings, good TV, clean and comfortable, spacious. Not much nearby (within walking distance) but lots within driving distance. Good place to spend the night. Missed the breakfast, but nice to have the option.

This hotel was very clean, good service, and staff was very friendly. Breakfast was better than expected, with quite a variety of both hot and cold foods from which to choose. Only minutes from interstate, downtown, and the beaches. The only negative thing I can say, is that there is a "gentlman's club" next door. "La Quinta in Oceanside Ca."
Pro's - Nice room with friendly staff. Decent breakfast, good facilities and location. Con's - Entrance and exit is not easy as there is a large dip going onto the street and you car bottoms out. It is also not so easy to turn into coming from the south.

Sue, at the front desk, was the friendliest front desk person I've ever come across in 20 years of business travel. My room was exceptionally clean. It also appeared rather new in terms of furnishings and finishes. The location was ideal for my business meeting at Camp Pendleton. The room was very clean, a little off the highway but closer to the beach. It was not within comfortable walking distance to the beach, but just a quick bike ride or quicker car ride if you please. "La Quinta Inn - Oceanside"
We stayed at this hotel for a weekend Metrolink / bike riding trip. The hotel was very close to the Metrolink station and the staff was able to keep our belongings for a few hours after we checked out so we could enjoy our bike ride. We were also able to check in early which was a plus for us. The only complaint we have is when we booked through hotels.com […] it showed we had a kichenette with a full size refrigerator, microwave and 2 stove top burners. I called La Quinta in before booking and asked if I booked through hotels.com I would indeed get the kitchenette with full fridge, etc. They said we would. When we arrived we were given a standard room with a small refrigerator, microwave, and no kitchenette. I called the front desk and they could not give me another room with the full kitchenette and I was told Hotels.com should have handled that. Since it was labor day weekend, the entire hotel was booked. So I'm not sure whose fault it is, but we were not given the full kitchenette room as promised so I would highly recommend you get a confirmation by email confirming the exact room to get if you choose this hotel. We have choosen this hotel mainly by comparison online rating between hotels in this area. We stayed 3 days in hotel and found it quiet (surprize because close to freeway), clean, well maintained, with refrigerator, microvawe and sink in the room. Reception open to changes to check-in check-out time. Breakfast include all standard food and drinks from […] cereal and toast to scrambled eggs and sausages. Two cons: breakfast area is to small, and outside garbage containers should be moved to far end of the parking area. Devamı

"Pefect for a weekend at Legoland"
The best part was the free breakfast in the morning. Home made waffles for the kids and eggs and sausage for the parents. And great coffee. Just a short drive on the freeway to legoland. And a short drive on the freeway to the outlet stores. Great weekend vacation for my family!

"La Quinta Hotel Oceanside, Calif."
Will not stay here again. Many people just hanging out at night outside smoking - etc. When we signed in we had to sign a waiver about not smoking in the rooms - a great thing... or pay a $200.00 fine. However, when we arrived home late one evening the halls reeked of the smell of pot.. terribly. Not my style.... Definitely won't stay here again... […] .. Devamı

This is a nice hotel. It looks okay and actually the hotel itself is okay nothing to brag about but the customer service is awesome. They were very accomadating and went out there way to make sure our stay was a good one. "Good Place to stay"
Room is big, comfortable and clean. In room microwave, freezer, and counter are good for people plan to long stay. Wireless WiFi is convenient for the business traveler. Location of the hotel is close to I5, but not easy to find, especially at night! Other than that I will give an overall rating of 4 stars.

"Good Value"
Rooms were spacious, comfortable, and nicely decorated. Comfy beds, and a nice flat screen TV on the wall. Rooms were double windowed, for quiteness. Would have never known there was a Gentleman's Club next door, if I hadn't seen it myself. Will definetly stay there again, and again.
"OK for the price"
The lady who checked us in was grumpy (is it that hard to welcome a guest with a smile and a greeting?), although the other manage was a friendly gentleman. The rooms were fine, but this is a pet-friendly hotel (and we don't like pets), so the room smelled a bit musty. For the price and the location, it was fine. "Comfort bed & Great Breakfast"
The beds are very comfortable and clean. My family with 3 young kids really enjoy the breakfast, even the breakfast area is a little small. But the food is pretty fresh (fresh fruits, OJ, Milk, along with hot sausages , bacon....). The only complain I had would be the entrance to the hotel. The driveway to the parking lot is so bumpy that we got bumped […] on the front of the car pretty badly as we entered the parking lot. Drive VERY slowly to avoid the problem. Devamı

"La Quinta at Oceanside San Diego"
Clean rooms, friendly service and quiet area. Parking lot is small but never had an issue finding a space. Kitchen/eating area is small-at timeswe had to wait for a table but there was always plenty of hot food available to eat.
This hotel is very nice I would stay here again, it's near the beach which is a plus. Didn't know it had a kitchenette with full size frig which was really nice.

Upon checking in, we had trouble with our TV. The night clerk was extremely helpful in the short term fix. The next day the TV was replaced. All staff that we encountered were polite, helpful and a treat to deal with. The rooms were clean and NOT cramped. We would stay again and recommmend to others.

"A very good experience;"
The La Quinta Inn was as I had expected it would be from the pictures I reviewed on line. Resturants were within easy travel distance from the hotel, such as right across the street. The harbor wasa easily accsesable as well. The over all stay was enjoyable and the staff was pleasant as expected. I will stay again in the future.

"Good Value"
This isn't a 5 star hotel. There is no pool, etc. But, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. Overall I had a good stay - especially for the price.

"Wonderful stay!"
We were originally told at check in that our reservation was for a standard queen room, not the queen with the kitchen( full Size fridge, microwave & stove.) and that the queen w/ kitchen were all sold out.I informed the Front desk manager, that his information was incorrect. We had actually brought a copy of the prepaid reservation (which I would always […] advise travelers to do) and showed the Manager what we had paid for. He graciously changed our room to the KING with the kitchen. The room was great, very clean and the carpets and bed linens were good quality also. There were 5 huge fluffy pillows on the king size bed- I love big fluffy pillows. We had brought our two dogs (big plus- no additional pet fee)with us and the room worked out wonderfully for us. The housekeeping staff was friendly and very accommodating of any request we had. I would definitely stay here again. If you absolutely have to have a pool or jacuzzi, this place is not for you- but you are only half a block from the ocean. "Comfortable room but atmosphere outside ?"
The room was very comfortable..great pillows..big TV. They have HBO but no other premiums. The bad thing was it is next door to a strip club. The people in the room next door to us were violently fighting..like banging against the wall and there was a dog in a room somewhere that wouldn't stop barking. This hotel is very clean, the beds are comfortable and the hotel staff is friendly. The free breakfast is good, also. They offer waffles, eggs, bacon, etc., which is more than many other hotels. We were happy with our stay and would definitely stay there again.
