we got there at 5pm to check in but the room was not ready yet, we had to wait some minutes to get the room allocated cleaned The front desk lady was super nice though.ps all towels all need to be changed, they are clean but the whites has turned grays. But will stay again.

This hotel was supposedly located close to the beach if you mapped it. In reality it was next to the train that you heard all night long. LIterally there were power lines everywhere!!!! The pool was this little tiny pool overlooking the parking lot and the trains whizzing by. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE! Also the airconditioning/heating […] unit sounded like it was going to explode when you turned it on. Put it this way this was not a place to stay for a good nights rest. Devamı

At 2:30 am, my first of three nights, I had to change rooms when a group of youth began partying next door. At one point they began banging on the door separating the rooms, shouting insults. Walking to the lobby, I noticed a group of kids hanging out in the fitness room as well. When I asked the lobby about this on departure, they defended their […] policy, saying they permitted five youth to a room, provided they were of legal age and did not party. When I voiced my concern over such a policy (citing that some of those kids did not seem to be of legal age), they admitted that incidents sometimes do happen. They seemed more interested in defending that policy, however, than hearing me speak of how it impacted my comfort as a guest. Clearly that so-called policy infringes upon other guests, though the staff did relocate me to a quieter location at the time. Point being, one should not have to repack and leave a room in the middle of the night at all. Even so, the rooms themselves were decent, but way too scented with carpet freshener that literally permeated all my clothes. In short, this just wasn't a good hotel, despite the friendliness of the staff, and outer appearances. Devamı

The pool have not the best position close to a railroad , but overalla god hotel close to the beach and airport ,close to a coupleof restaurants and Manhattan beach

A very nice and comfortable place to stay, very kind stuff and clean, very big rooms. Pc always available in the breakfast room, laundry and gym well equipped. In the neighborwood there are a lot of shopping centers and it's about 15 minutes from the sea. Free parking. If we come back we'll surely stay there again.

the hotel was comfortable. Staff were very friendly. Room was fine but chair was very worn from pets that had clawed it. No scenery from window but that was fine for the price and the fact that we werent in the room much. Adequate lodging near LAX, but minimal breakfast provided only 7-9 am. Car required for transportation. Staff friendly, suite small, good for quick in & out but not someplace you would want to plan a stay-in day. Can get to public transit and then downtown LA if you are willing to brave walking about 6 blocks and crossing busy LA 8-lane streets with […] fast traffic. Devamı

Excellent Value! We really enjoyed our studio for two nights and felt it was a great home base for a busy wedding weekend.

We staid 2 nights Fri/Sat. The first night went w/o any issues. I contacted housekeeping for some personal requests which were met. the second night resulted in no parking available on the premise. I had to wait nearly 20 minutes for someone to leave @10:20 PM. I did get to observe the three Hawthorne Police Vehicles that finally left. Apparently some […] young adults (thugs) rented several rooms and threw a party for 40+ people. Management did the right thing and closed it down. I was told that it had never happened before. If you're looking for a great high-end motel close to LAX, better neighborhood, easy to regas the rental car, close to the major highways, clean and comfortable this is the hotel for you. We got in very late (after 11) and had to get back up at 4 am to get to the airport in time. Even though we were there a short period of time all of our criteria […] were impressively met. The room was clean, everything was in good working order with nothing broken or worn, and the wake up call was on time and friendly (but not chipper). A member of our family is germophobic and they were comfortable with TownePlace Suites LAX. In our book, a motel/hotel really can't get any higher marks than that. Devamı

The hotel was a decent place to stay. The location is was the only good thing for my stay. Me, my wife, and cousin stayed in a 2 bedroom suite for the weekend & were very disappointed. No reviews mentioned that there was a "train" that passed by every 10-15 minutes. The noise from that was very annoying. Having the windows closed didn't even make a […] difference. On the couch, there was a large "DNA" looking stain that we all noticed located on the armrest. A few simple wipes from a Clorox antibacterial cleaner would have done the job. All three of us opted to use the any other chair to watch TV. The last most ultimate fail of our stay was that the hotel did not have any power on Sunday 9/11/11 from the hours of 8:45 to 5 pm. This was the day we were looking forward to sleep in and watch the 1st games of the NFL season. Unfortunately that did not happen. As you know, this hotel is commonly used for long stay meaning that people stay for more than a week at times. So we had a lot of food spoil due to the power loss. The fridge did not keep milk, ice cream, yogurt, raw steaks, chicken, etc fresh. So all of that food/money was wasted. That was a big NEGATIVE, especially in this economy. So we were forced to leave and eat at restaurants and spend more dollars that we didn't need to. Plus, trying to shower with no lights or hot water was not gonna happen. The front desk told us that the power outage was expected down the block and was not supposed to effect our hotel. Well they found out that they were absolutely incorrect instantly! The only thing that the employees at the front could offer the guests was pizza that was ordered, but you had to walk to the sister hotel next door to eat. It was also at a designated time in which we were not gonna stick around for. So that was pretty much all of it. Total FAIL. Devamı

i will be looking for TownePlace Suites in the future. This was a really roomy luxury hotel. the room was large and had a full kitchen . We did not have the opportunity to utilize this feature but I have already told others about how nice it would be for a family to stay in a very reasonably priced clean spacious hotel room and beable to cook and eat […] a few meals without having to always go out to eat. The area was loaded with restuarants and local stores. It was very close to the airport ( but not so close you could hear planes) the beaches and the freeway. Good quality, nice staff and great value for the price. Devamı

Good place to stay near L A X its main benefit is closness ti airport but with good quality

We recently stayed at the TownPlace Suites for a long weekend over the Fourth of July. I must say that I'm very particular when it comes to hotel accomodations and TownPlace did not disappoint. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and the fact that it was so conveniently located to both the airport and Manhatten Beach as well as a […] quick commute to other popular LA locations. The girls at the front desk were so friendly and helpful. The neighborhood was also clean and well maintained. We stayed in the 1-bed suite which also included a pull-out sleeper for our two young children. For the minimal time we were actually in the room, it was perfect. We also loved the fully equiped kitchen. Thanks, TownPlace, for helping make our quick trip to LA a great experience! Our kids are already asking when we can go again. Devamı

My reservations were for 2 beds and the pull-out bed. I needed three beds because one of the guests needed a separate room for medical reasons. I called the week before directly to the hotel and confirmed my reservations as well as being very explicit to the reservation agent. We were going for a memorial service and the accommodations were very important. […] The hotel manager took no responsibility for the incorrect accommodations blaming it completely on hotel.com. The hotel was also oversold. Finally they brought a twin size aerobed. Completely unsatisfactory. The room smelled and a huge stain on the cabinet in the kitchenette. The room was a little small, but for the rate we got, I really can't complain. I would agree with others, the temp gauge really did not make much of a change to the temp. Good thing, the weather was mild while we were in town. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, along with the breakfast. I would stay there again.

The mattresses were dirty on both the pull out bed and a roll away. It was very gross

We had a studio room. We didn't expect it to be as big as it was-so greatful!! It was clean, well decorated, and stock with all your kitchen supplies. We loved it so much we stood another nite. So, relaxed and it was close to resturants, malls, and movies. Had a blast and the check in clerk was great! We will come again soon.

we were very satisfied with the accomodations, except for the fact that the thermostat seemed to be a decorative item. turning it down didn't change the temp in the room, which was too warm to sleep comfortably.

We like this place a lot. Stayed two different nights, both before and after our trip. Only problem was that it was too warm in the room on the second stay and the thermostat did nothing,

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, although a little more firm than I prefer. The kitchenette was fully stocked with an electric stove/oven, microwave, full refrigerator, coffee-maker, pots, pans, china and utensils, so this is a great place to stay if you plan on cooking or bringing back restaurant leftovers. The free continental breakfast […] is a good value if you don't need a hot breakfast (bagels, english muffins (toaster provided), fruit, yogurt, muffins, juice, coffee, tea). There is a computer in the lobby with free internet access and printing (limited to 15-minute sessions) which is great if you need to look up an address or print boarding passes. Overall, this place is a great value for your money considering that anywhere closer to the middle of LA, you'd be paying the same price for a crappy roadside motel. Oh, and parking is free, too. Bel hotel, excellent service, situe assez loin des autoroutes et des trains. Le tramway passe directement derriere l'hotel. Je ne peux pas commenter sur le bruit du tramway, ayant eu une chambre a l'avant de l'hotel, mais je peux dire que je n'ai pas entendu un seul bruit de la nuit. Un tres bon point de depart pour ceux qui veulent explorer la cote […] tout en gardant un peu de distance avec les quartiers bruyants. Devamı
