Clean, comfortable & convenient, but power was lost twice in the night which terrified my four year old. When I inquired in the morning as to what happened, the clerk at the desk told me that there was post-it note behind the desk indicating that the outage was planned and guests were to be notified. I asked why we weren't notified and the clerk said […] the manager would be in later and I could speak with her. At check out, no apology was given and no explanation as to why we weren't notified, other than a comment that power was lost at other locations as well. "Fairfield Inn at White River Junction, VT"
There were problems with the thermostat or heating system. The room temperature was about 80F when we arrived and the heat could not be reduced. At least one other guest experienced the same problem. On checking out, the man at the front desk didn't seem at all concerned and mentioned that some other rooms had the same experience.

The only problem with the room was the temperature. It was very hot in the room from the time I arrived. I tried to open the window to get some fresh air into the room but was unable. Due to this, I feel like I didn't get as good a night's sleep as I would have liked.

Hotel in White River Junction Vt - room was very spacious and nicely decorated. Clean and inviting. The breakfast the next morning left a little to be desired - the juice machine wasn't functioning because all that came out was colored water from both sides. That was disappointing. Room was specious and very clean. Hotel staff was excellent and very prompt in service. Will definately stay again.

couldn't sleep I turned down the termostat to 60 and the coolest it got was 64 and I couldn't sllep

Hotel was very clean! Completely renovated. The price was excellent. Staff very helpful with suggestions to local eateries and even print me directions to the King Arthur Flour Baking School. Definitely will return.

"Large, clean rooms"
We stayed at the Fairfield Inn one night while driving from Canada to Boston. Location is very convenient at the junction of Interstates 89 and 91. We had booked two rooms: both were very large, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was included and was very good. The staff was helpful. There is also a small but well-equipped gym, but no pool.

Hotel was fine. Room was spacious. Good breakfast. Night staff was not at desk when we arrived--had to wait a few minutes--it was late and that was not appreciated. Bathroom was not cleaned properly after first night.
Couldn't get thermostat to work properly and front desk couldn't get anyone to fix it. Spent the night in a hot room.

Very modern and clean. Breakfast consisted of more than just cereals and pastry, including sausage, egg and biscuit and mini quiches.

We were only at the hotel for about 5 hours (we arrived at 3am), but everything worked smoothly, the facility looked nice and was clean. The bathroom was very spacious and the shower felt big too - great for tall people! The free breakfast was also great, Jimmy Dean bacon and sausage, egg and cheese muffins - they were great! We simply needed an overnight stay during our college tour visits. The hotel was newer and clean. The free breakfast was great.

This hotel is a nice modern hotel - nothing luxury or out of the ordinary, but comfortable none the less. The staff seemed nice and the buffet breakfast was very good. There is no pool (usually get a small one at this type of hotel) and it is in a wierd kind of area with about 4 other hotels and a few gas stations.
