Lovely room, comfy bed, breakfast in the morning was yummie. Friendly staff. The only thing is that the t.v.s were SMALL.

It was so peaceful. I got a lot of rest and the blankets were super warm. The room was clean and the staff checked me in quickly. SO quiet on the bay view side.

Great spacious hotel near the hot spots in Emeryville. I just found out that they accept pets. I will bring my Beagle next time for sure.

You can't beat the location with easy access to the Bay Bridge, shopping, movies and restaurants. Good value with large suites, free (and good) breakfast and free parking. Friendly staff.

Although there were several pillows on the bed to choose from, all were flat and hard.

Enjoyed this hotel very much. Convenient to UC Berkely, offered free parking, and had a wonderful full breakfast each morning. We were on the back side of the hotel, but not bothered by the trains at all. Close location to Trader Joe's and the international food court/market.

Stayed 3 nights with wife and 3 kids and small dog.Room had a small full kitchen,2 queen size beds,a pull out bed in small living room and a large bathroom.Never heard another guest,free parking and close to San Fransico,port of Oakland and Oakland airport.And Berkley too.

We were put on the second floor, which is the pet floor. We had a nice suite-like room with small kitchen and sitting area, king size bed, and nice bath. There was plenty of room to spread out in. They provided lots of paper towels and cleaning supplies. Although they didn't have a designated pet area, there were plenty of trash cans for pick-ups and […] small patches of ground for our dog to do their thing on. Breakfast was great with changes daily. Large, clean, quiet room with kitchenette. Staff friendly and helpful. Included full American breakfast. Restaurant serves convenience (pre-prepared) food-service fare. Don't eat here, but at one of many nearby restaurants. Can also walk to Trader Joe's and buy groceries. Free parking, easy access to freeway.

Under previous management this hotel was a favorite place to stay in the bay area. When we needed to layover this time I immediately recommended we head the short dirve over the bridge. What a dissapointment! Our first room was so filthy we didnt even step in, carpet stains, crumbs on the counter and a dank stench of tobacco smoke (a non smoking room) […] The front desk said they could "deodorize" the room but we insisted on another room. One floor down, this room was cleaner but still bore the effects of defered maintenance., Wall grime, ancient dirty furnishings ( the chair was actually threadbare on the arms, the fabric held together by a layer of black grime). The beds were clean and comfortable and the huge bathroom passable.The thought of actually eating at the breakfast buffet was too much for my friend who could only imagine the condition of the kitchen and other non public areas. We headed out early in the morning in search of another weekend head quarters. The lack of attentionn to cleaning and maintence is really not fair to the lovely helpful staff who deserve to work in better conditions, with a property they can be proud of. I will probably be avoiding this chain in the future, sticking with the other "H". SAD... this WAS such a great place. Devamı

Looks like Hyatt is under maintaining this place and allowing it to slip into a lower priced niche. Floors not as clean, no wine glasses, corkscrew, fewer glasses. Service still very good and good breakfast. Have not improved anything since taking over the Woodfin about two years ago. Major plus' are location and being pet friendly

Great value for a family vacation! Free breakfast and parking are a PLUS!

I was pretty impressed with the hotel. The room was spacious and the service was great. No complaints over here. It is also in a great location in Emeryville.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I very much enjoyed my stay and would return should I need to stay in Emeryville in the future.

enjoyed the stay. Room is spacious and quiet, not so much affected by the outside noise except the train: 7:00 am to 11:00pm when I stayed there. Like the bed, mattress is firm and comfortable.

Hyatt suites is a great place to stay. Room was very spacious and clean. Excellent service. My suite was beautiful.

I had a better experience than I did last month. Although i gave specific instructions to hotels.com, the hotel didn't honor it. Oh well. I still enjoyed my stay and had a decent night sleep.

The hotel was very nice, rooms were clean, staff was wonderful. Especially, the front desk clerk, she was as professional as the clerks at high end hotels.

We stayed one night with our three kids. We stayed in a suite and it was great, just wished it had flat screens but had a full kitchen. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was awesome!!!! Kids really enjoyed the stay and all of the amenities!!!

This hotel is excellent when travelling by AMTRAC , right near Emeryville station. We had a back room, looking over the railway station, which was great, we did not hear the trains at all, the freight trains pass through Emeryville very slowly. This hotel is good to stay at if visiting SFO as it is possible to travel to SFO without too much trouble […] & it is more relatively priced for a good hotel near SFO. If you happen to love trains ask for a back room, you will be in train lovers heaven. If you are not into trains it is still an excellent hotel, the staff great, helpful & friendly. Highly recommended, if you do not need 7 star luxuary. Devamı

I've stayed at this hotel before and I have never had a problem with anything, but on this most recent trip, the front staff was being a hassle. Everything else was ok.

Location and accomodations were great , however we did notice a things that could have been corrected. I would have had a more pleasent stay there. The TV in the bedroom in our suite the bulb was going out and it was losing the picture, also I noticed that the rug needed to be cleaned adjacent to the kitchenette. Othere than that we had a great visit. […] This was our third stay at this location and the others were really I seen a little bite better, Devamı

The hotel had just been bought out and the staff was very young and inexperienced. They didn"t have answers to my questions. The rooms were spacious and all were suites. The only complaint was with the staff.

We had gotten to the hotel at about 2PM and were assisted by Uffi. He advsied that check-in time was at 3PM and that if we came back at that time our room would be ready for check in. He provided us with our room key and suggested we walk to the shopping area, We walked back to the hotel at 3:10PM or so, and again were told by Uffi that our room was […] not quite ready yet, however he would switch our room to another one that would be ready sooner. He then proceeded to take our room key that he had given us previously, and had us take a seat down the hall and advsued that he would come and get us when that room was ready and provide us with the new room key. About half an hour passed when my boyfriend noticed that Uffi had has backpack on, and was leaving the hotel. At 4:15PM we went up to the front desk, who realized that we had been forgotten about. Uffi had left for the day without notifying any of his other -coworkers what he was still in the process of assisting us. We didn't check into out room until about 4:30PM...ugggh. We had stayed at that hotel in hopes to attend Lovevolution which ended at 8PM, however since our check in was sooo late we opted on not going since we would nto have enough time to get ready and drive there...2-$25 tickets wasted! We got what we paid for pretty much. I didn't like the room it felt to outdated. I had 2 rooms and 1 of the TV's didn't work, the King size bed dipped in the middle, the couch looked too dingy to even sit on and the kitchen counter top had a couple sunflower seeds waiting for us when we entered. I didn't mind the train traffic as much as others since […] they didn't actually blare their horn near the hotel it was more the rumble of the tracks. I was impressed with the free breakfast. Instead of the traditional continental breakfast of bagels and cereal, they also offered eggs, bacon, potatoes and french toast which was suprisingly good. The location was decent. The hotel was a great hotel choice for our stay. It is just across the bay from San Francisco in the small city of Emeryville. There are not alot of things to see or do in Emeryville, but it is a lot cheaper then the hotels in San Francisco. By far, you get more for your money staying here. If you are a rail fan, this is the place for you. The back […] of the hotel faces the main rail line for the east side of the bay and is just across the tracks from the Emeryville Amtrak station with a walk bridge from the station to the parking lot of the hotel. There are freights and many Amtrak trains that come through all day long. The front side has a limited view of the bay. The staff at the hotel were all very friendly and helpful. The rooms are all spacious, and very well equiped with a full kitchen for cooking your own meals if you so choose. The carpet and wall paper are not new, but we have stayed in worse for more money. We were told a remodel was in the future. It is a clean hotel with a nice grill on site. It is close to public transportion for getting around with out a car. Devamı

Had a wonderful Labor Day Weekend, the accomodations and location were great. The there is a resturant on location. I would highly recommend this facility to my friends. The hotel is located in front of the Emeryville AMTRAK station. Great traveling through location. . Could use a Jazzui or pool. This would add to the enjoyment of the stay there.

Summerfields brand of Hyatt have less amenities than other Hyatt brand Hotels. This particular Summerfield was originally a Woodfin Suites. Although, the accommodations were clean. The rooms were dated with worn out carpets. The furniture was all scuffed up while the bathroom was decent. (I have stayed in a Hotel Sierra for the same price and it was […] gorgeous. The rooms were designed very well with modern furniture, a great deal of space and two 46" flat panels). This first room we were given had large black stains all over the carpet. They kindly gave us a nicer room after that experience. My complaint about that is they should have taken care of the stains before booking the room. Also, if they offered room service that would be a plus. The staff there were incredibly nice and professional. The overall experience was relaxing and pleasurable. My kids had fun in their pool that was outside. I hope to stay there again when I return to California when Hyatt remodels their rooms. Devamı
