River Mountain Lodge by ResortQuest - Breckenridge

The hotel was nice and well located. It was near the downtown area which made it nice for my family who came with me on the trip. The staff was friendly and helpful with whatever I needed. The hotel itself was nice including the room which was decorated lodge style. I came off season so there were very few people there which made it nice and quiet for […] us. One complaint would be that it had no AC. The hotel offered box fans so we opened a window to pull some cool air in. This was not an issue but might have been if we were there during regular season and had people out in the pool area making noise. The room also had a washer and dryer. When we used the dryer it could make the room quite hot and uncomfortable if a fan was not going and a window was not open. The only other minor complaint would be the placement of some furniture. The room we were in had a couch which had a hide away bed. Across from it was another chair. My kids slept on the bed so when it was out you had barely enough room ( approx. 1 foot) to maneuver past. The hotel is well accomodated but not overly fancy or expensive. It was great to have a full kitchen and washer/dryer in our condo. The two bedroom condo was a great size for our 4 adult, 4 kid group. The staff is friendly and the location is excellent. Cozy and perfect location. Bed very soft and comfortable. View is amazing. Would definitely recommend. Small issue with using the dryer, you have to open windows and door when using it or it will feel sauna in the room.

Booked this because it was cheaper than some of the other places in Breckenridge. The location was great - 5 min. walk to the gondola to get to Peak 8 and a short bus ride to either the gondola or to Peak 9. Also, literally 30 sec. to the main downtown street in Breckenridge. Downside was bed was not that comfortable and the water pressure was not good. […] No Air conditioning either but leaving the windows open and the ceiling fan helped. Hot tub was right outside our door which made for easy access. Overall, a nice place to stay and would consider staying there again. Devamı

Great condo, especially for the money. Lots of perks for staying here and the location couldn't be better.

First thing that I absolutely loved about the hotel is that there was no maids to come and clean during our 3 day stay. No one bothered us when we were there and that's nice to have on Vacation! We drove from Oklahoma to meet my sister who lives in Wyoming to spend spring break together in the parking garage you cam only have one vehicle but after looking […] around for free parking for my sister we couldn't find anywhere. We let the hotel know and they easily gave us a 2nd parking pass! I was happy to know they had a washer and dryer in our room and a fire place with balcony! The hotel was right next to the Gondola and main street shopping! Over all this was a wonderful hotel and I would definitely stay there again every time we go to Breck!! Devamı

Good location but the hotel is a bit beat and there is not daily housekeeping. Keep in mind you are in a ski resort so there is not many options but don't expect a 3 or 4 star hotel.

Great location, nice accommodations, very helpful staff. Try to stay on the river side of the building as the road noise is very pronounced and buses start up around 5am. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at the River Mountain Lodge for 6 nights during our ski vacation and I would have given the hotel a 5-star review if it weren't for the totally outdated look and furniture of the place. The bed and the couch are not the most comfortable pieces you've seen... The heating system is outdated too and while it's really nice and warm inside it dries […] out the air so much we had some trouble sleeping at night. What really compensated for all this was the location: you are walking distance to the gondola which brings you straiht to Peaks 7&8 and also walking distance to the base of peak 9 and ALL the shops and restaurants on Main St are literally 2 min walk away. The staff is really friendly and helpful too, there is free ski/board storage which is great. Overall, I would probably return and just deal with the inconvenient furniture. Devamı

We stayed for 4 nights and absolutely had a blast! The Four O'Clock run in the middle of the mountains drops you literally across the street. Free Breck transportation made it easy to get around. The hotel is clean, the hot tub hot. Ask for Bubba at the Fireside Lounge Bar. Tell him your name once and he'll remember your name and your drink for the […] length of your stay. Great fireplace, darts and full of locals, this little bar is a great place. Ask for his homemade Rompope (Mexican Egg Nog), it'll take the chill off! Devamı

Could not dream about a better location: walking distance from all downtown restaurants and shops, in front of the free ride shuttle that takes you to the slopes, at the bottom of one of the slopes. The hotel offered storage for skis, equipment rental at steep discount for guests, and the staff was uniformely kind and courtous.

Perfect location, ski in/ ski out. Private garage, two hot tubs, all year round heated pool. Rooms were nice. Location was one block from main street. If your looking for a party hotel this is not the place. Overall nice place to stay. Been there twice.

River Mountain Lodge came exactly as advertised. Our studio was somewhat of a squeeze for three people, but we knew that going in. Convenience of location was a big plus. It's right at the bottom of 4 o'clock run so you can ski home, and you are two blocks from bars and restaurants on main street.

Just spent a week there while we skied Breck, vail and beaver Creek. Great location and very friendly and helpful staff. The bed in the studio wasn't the most comfortable but it wasn't horrible. Four jacuzzi's is enough to ensure you have room to soak after everyone gets off the lifts at 4pm. One short block from the Main St dining scene and a two minute […] shuttle ride to Gondola to peaks 7 & 8. Also the 4 O'Clock run ends directly across the street from the lodge! No maid service is the only issue and if you can live with that you can enjoy a good value for the area. Devamı

Our stay was Great! The staff did make efforts to help!! We had a few problems with our room and the staff did try to accommodate as much as possible. Nothing that made the stay unenjoyable. Problems included broken pull out couch and broken light switch. Neither problem was fixed but the staff did accommodate by providing cot and extra light. The location […] is great! I would definitely recommend this resort, all staff was great, especially Bubba the bartender in the Fireside Lounge and guys in ski shop were great too!

Our particular corner room was a time share owner's very cute bedroom unit that utilized the small space wisely to be called a studio. There was a small fridge, microwave and a little round table with 2 chairs, TV and Wi-Fi access. The fresh linens on the bed and bath towels were so soft and appreciated after an 8 hr day on the slopes. Walking distance […] to the down town shops and best eating places, as well as across the street from the free shuttle (& free) bus stop make this a convenient location for a winter vaca stay! Although the room was a little small, it was a great place to stay. The location was perfect to walk everywhere or hit the wonder bike path that Breckenridge has. The service was great and the place was immaculate. The only thing about it was when I raised the window, the roaring river outside the window was loud. But that's not a bad thing. Was in down town Breckinridge with under ground parking. You could walk to the main street where all the shops and restaurants are. Not have to drive.

Loved the location, loved the staff. The only thing that we might have changed was the size of our room (booked a hotel room, not condo). The queen size bed literally took up almost the entire space, but it was cozy, clean and we had a wonderful stay! Would definitely stay there again!!!

The location of this hotel was perfect! A five-minute walk to the gondola, a block away from Main Street. Be warned that it does not have air conditioning and think twice about having a West facing room because of the loud pedestrians and cars driving by all night long. I would stay here again, but not during the Summer.

The hotel was nice. However - if you are staying in the summer, you don't want to stay in a room on the side that borders hwy 9 as the rooms (at least the one we had) do not have air conditioning and if you open the window at night you get lots of traffic noise. I would stay again, but I would make sure it is on the river side.

Our room was small but ok. I was surprised that we had no housekeeping service in the three days we were there. Loved the river next to our window. Glad we were very busy because it would have been difficult to spend much time in the room....very small. It was close to everything.

This hotel was extremely comfortable, and its location is second to none, just off the main street, 2min walk to gondola for Peak 7 and Peak 8, and right at the bottom of the four o'clock run. there is also a bus-stop right outside for Peak 9 and Peak 10. The hotel staff were very nice and very helpful and would have no problem with returning to this […] hotel in the future. One noticable issue was that on our last night the noise from the room above was very loud. Not sure if the people only arrived this night, or whether they were just loud this night, but they could be clearly heard walking around. Other than this we had no other issues. Excellent locat, very near to Main Street and the ski bus stop is directly opposite from the hotel. The bottom of the 4 O'Clock run is also directly opposite. Cheapest beer in the whole of America, served by the most friendly of bar staff (Bubba!). Very good Mexican food in teh restaurant downstairs.

Main St. is just around the corner. Nordic Center is very close and easy to get to. Peak 8 gondola is 4 blocks.

Great location, cheep beer at Happy Hour and a Convenient walk to town.

Great place to stay for the price! Walking distance to peaks and Main St. and very easy to find! Plan to stay again!

The location was wonderful, view from all the windows was wonderful, the room was nicely furnished but the mattresses were awful. We had to take the mattress off of the pull out couch and put it on the floor. It was still not comfortable but at least acceptable. We will stay there again but request a different room.

I liked the hotel for location, price, cleanliness and great friendly staff. The odd thing is that it is sort of like a hotel but also has the condo owners. My room was a basic room w/ mini fridge but some were full cooking units. As a result there was no maid service. Not a big deal but I just was expecting it and got more towels at the front desk […] . Stayed in a 2bedroom unit. rooms were clean, staff were friendly and helpful. I wish gym was open earlier than 7am but at least it closes late (11pm). cleaning is only done at the end of stay. I wish they provide more grabage bags. But its okay. Cable TV and wifi was fast & excelent.

Price is right. In town location, walk to anywhere (or free transit service right outside). Even suites in west building get a lot of traffic noise.

Enjoyed the stay very much. Then again, it was Breckenridge, so what could there be to not like there?

THe people managing the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Location is perfect. We are going back again next year.
