I thought the Hotel was very nice, clean and very comfortable. The service was great. The casino was really fun and I loved the beautiful entrance and restraunts to the casino. Overall I think it was a great choice we made to stay there and would love to go back...

When I went to Hotels.com, I paid for a Deluxe room that was supposed to have 1 king bed and 2 queens. They were to accept pets . What I got was 1 king bed,a roll awy and they do not accept pets. I am not at all satisfied with my accomidations and neither was my wife. The hotel understood our problem and went above and beyond to try and make us as comfortable […] as possible. Me and my husband stayed at Boomtown during the week so we didnt see much activity around. It was a nice room, very much updated, very comfortable king bed as well! The only thing we didnt like was that they had no regular t.v stations. We had just gotten in from a long drive and wanted to relax and watch the news or local television but it wasnt available […] on the t.v. Everything there was on demand and charged you watch it, even regular television shows. Other than that the room served it's purpose...a nice place to sleep. Devamı

It was a very nice place to stay, however, the one night that we stayed there the electricity went out 3 different times. The fire alarm also came on making us evacuate early in the morning. But, the place was nice and will go there again. Just a bad night for them I guess.

Hotel was nice, mostly comfortable (really soft pillows), staff was pleasant and helpful and location was terrific - right off the interstate and close to the Boardwalk and other casinos. Our only complaint is about the Cattleman's Buffet. For the price you pay the food isn't that great. Breakfast was definitely ill-planned and there wasn't even enough […] food prepared. Devamı

The only thing we did not like was the smell of cigarette smoke that lingers in the lobby from the casino.

We wanted a room with a jacusi. We didn't get one even though the picture showed one. That was disappointing.

Hotel was clean and staff very friendly! Did not like the smoky smell that lingers from the casino to the rooms. Overall a nice stay for the discount price I paid.

Just an average casino hotel. You certainly don't get the room in the photos. There is no Jacuzzi tub in most of rooms as seen in photo. Parking garage is across the campus from hotel. Room was clean and nice. Staff friendly. Bed comfortable.

Casino was small and the quality of slots was nothing like the horseshoe or El Dorado

Had an awesome time at this place. I didn't have to worry about anything. It was all taken care of without having to ask for anything. One bad thing is they could've left me with some money, ha.. Great choice in staying here!!

We stayed at the Boomtown for one evening on a cross country road trip. I made the reservation through Hotels.com and got a very reasonable rate. The check in was fast and the room very nice and comfortable. I can't say anything about the casino as we didn't go down there to gamble. While at the hotel i had a problem they were quick to get me help and was very nice about it.

Boomtown was in the perfect location for our event at Centurylink Center and was easily accessible from the freeway on our way into Bossier. The food was really good at the cafe and the Casino was small, but fun, with good, professional service. However...the bedspreads in our room had what appeared to be makeup smearsor stains and a few "hairs." The […] bathtub also had some loose dirt or grit in the bottom. For this reason, I can't suggest a hotel stay at Boomtown. Cleanliness should be a top priority of any hotel that wants to be considered a "nice" place to stay... and particularly for a hotel at this price point with plenty of competition. Devamı

The room was very nice and very clean. Our only complaint was that the room was very dark. We seniors need better lighting. .

The room was as nice as any I've stayed in Las Vegas. I found a half price special for two nights on Hotels . com website. This made our stay very affordable.

This was a wonderful stay !! The room was clean and the jacuzzi was awesome !! I would definitely stay here again when I am in Shreveport/Bossier City !!

HOTEL AND FOOD IN CASINO WERE VERY GOOD. ROOM WAS NICE AND CLEAN AND I WILL BE STAYING HERE AGAIN.

Stayed in one the remodel room, it was great. However, they forgot to re-chaulk the bathroom tub. Other than that it was fanstatic. Will stay there again. Linden,TX

The big casinos in SHRV are a great deal midweek. They are always nice and the buffets are great. A bonus is there is food all night long reasonably priced. Only down to Boomtown is the pool - the whole patio in fact - was closed (outdoors) and the "gym" is paltry - no weights only three treadmills. But for a great deal, comfy room, good food, clean […] nice place and just general fun, I always appreciate the hospitality at Boomtown. Devamı

We enjoyed our stay. Wished it could have been longer. Would recommend others to visit and stay at Boomtown Casino. Employees were very nice and accomodating to us.

Stayed one night for a getaway with my wife. Got a good discount. Only real problem was that a previous guest had smoked in the room (is that a casino hotel thing?). At my room rate they would not move us, but did come and spray the room. That actually helped and when we returned later I did not notice the smoke smell. Room was clean and comfortable. […] AC/Heat was quiet. Staff was friendly. Was surprised when the faucet handles came off in my hand. Replaced them and they worked ok. Oh, one other thing. I picked this hotel because it was the only casino/hotel in Shreveport with reviews that stated that the place had been recently redone. Therefore, there were no old funky comforters and I felt very clean and comfortable. My only complaint was that the breakfast buffet was extremely expensive and that the casino was pretty small.

The Hotel wasVegas quality!The Sports bar opened early so we could see the game. This is the favortie hangout for the locals... they are all so nice

It's been a week and I'm still trying to get over a spider bite that I got in the room I stayed in.

The room had only been cleaned halfway with dirty sheets on left in the room, dirty floor and countertops. The front desk said there were no other rooms available so I had to step out and wait for the cleaning staff to come to the room and clean. Just not very friendly or accommodating staff here.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. The casino was fun (but filled with smoke, as I assume all casinos are). The location was great. The only dissapointment we had was the $25 lobster buffet. The food is not good quality and the lobster is so over cooked it's like eating rubber. We also ate at the cantina while we were there, and we enjoyed that. […] I'd definitely stay there again, but would eat elsewhere. Devamı

Our room was super nice. The bed was very comfy, and we loved having a ceiling fan. The last time we were at the is hotel was when it was Casino Magic, and it's so much nicer as Boomtown. We were really impressed!

The room was great all around but it didn't have a fridge. It was a smoking room so we were prepared for it to smell like it however, it was VERY smoky. We couldn't figure out how to adjust the thermostat, so we froze during the night.

Arrived at 9:00pm and had a reservation. I had to stand there for almost 45 minutes while they kept checking for a clean room. The whole time the girl up front was on personal phone calls instead of insuring they got a room clean quick. Didnt understand how they didnt have clean rooms at 9pm??!

Overall the lobby, bar area, and restaurants were very attractive and clean. The casino and room, however, left a lot to be desired. They were outdated, stinky, and the bed in the room didn't even look like it had been made. I guess for the price of the room I felt like it could have been a little nicer.
