Silver Surf Gulf Beach Resort - Bradenton Beach

It was exactly what we had hoped for when we booked , a great seafront location , Apartments were well fitted out and everything worked, Reception staff were helpful and knowledgeable .Some good Cafes and restaurants in walking distance and great value for money.

while an older motel, the room was smaller but very clean and staff very nice and cleaning staff did a great job. there were 3 of us and we had king bed and pull out couch and we all slept well.

We had a wonderful stay here Very convenient to every one of our needs

I had a great room at my recent stay at the Silver Surf. It is located across the street from the beach and there is a free trolley that runs every 20 minutes to all locations on the island, super convenient and a very friendly staff.

Silver Surf on Anna Marie Island is very comfortable, clean and has access to a private beach right accross the street. We have stayed a couple of times and know we will book again for a great vacation.

My fiancée and I stayed a night at this hotel for her birthday. We were looking for a simple, affordable place that was right off the beach, and this place fit the bill. I booked this hotel because I had one night on a business trip that I wanted to spend near the beach. The other reviews are right on about the fact that this is an old hotel. The bathroom is miniscule and in need of attention around the tiling. My knees almost hit the wall when I sat down. Also, there isn't an accessible outlet in the bathroom, but […] there was a hairdryer provided. I just couldn't use it in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the linens seemed new, but the spread was dated. The TV was new and the fridge was cold. Overall, it was like staying in one of those old motor hotels, but it was across the street from the beach and within walking distance of a nice restaurant, so I really can't complain. It was fine, it just should have cost less for what I got. It was the off-season. I was one of three whole people staying there, and felt I should have gotten a better deal. No actual person at check-in. A phone and a drop box. When there was a person, he was kind of rude. But, it did have its own boardwalk to the beach w chairs and umbrellas. We had a friend have a beach wedding on Anna Maria Island and this was a close reasonably priced hotel. It does need some touch up in the paint area but over all it was well worth it. It was decorated cute and the staff was incredibly nice and extremely accommodating. Beautiful view of the gulf and a nice private beach area. This was not a luxurious resort, but I can tell you that the location was absolutely perfect, which made up for everything that may be lacking. The staff was fabulous. Always willing to help out. We stayed here on Easter weekend for one night. Never having been to Anna Maria Island before, I booked this online, sight unseen (except for pictures on the site). The hotel is definitely an older hotel. Check-in was smooth, except for our family members staying here, as they overbooked and had to send them to their sister hotel. Our room was a studio […] on the second floor. A little tough dragging luggage up stairs. The room was fairly large and had everything we needed for one night. Fridge, microwave, but no hair dryer. The bed was not comfortable at all, hard as a rock. But, it had plenty of pillows. Note - the ice machine is down in the parking lot of the first building and they charge 25 cents for it! I've never had to pay for ice at a hotel before. For the price they charge for one night, ice should be free. They have a private beach for hotel guests across the street and supply chairs and towels. There are lots of bars, restaurants and shops in the area that you can walk to and the trolley stop is right in front of the hotel. Some of the guests (not sure if they live here year round) were a little sketchy. All in all, we were fine for one night, but I doubt we would stay here again. I'd stay at their sister hotel, the BridgeWalk. It's much nicer. Devamı
