this was a lovely hotel with staff that went above and beyond to help us with restaurant reservations. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a boutique style hotel in a wonderful area of Philly.

I've stayed here several times and tried again last summer, but even the discounted price was too high. Caught a great price on a fluke and was happy to be back. Friendly staff. Expanded breakfast options (for an additional charge).

Lovely, charming small hotel with excellent staff and amenities. A fine continental breakfast, but you can also enjoy a full breakfast for a reasonable cost. Very attentive boutique hotel with ambiance of a European B&B. Easy walk to all Center City amentities, and short cab or public transportation to U. Penn as well as East Side historical, cultural, and restaurant scene. Great alternative to big chain hotels and a good value.

I chose this hotel because of its favorable reviews and I tend to favor small boutique hotels which don't make their guests feel like a number. I echo comments read that the hotel staff are very friendly and special touches like cookies, complimentary wine and a nice continental breakfast add tremendous value. My one disappointment was my room was advertised […] as having a fireplace -- which I assumed would at least be gas if not wood burning. But the reality was that it was a TV built into some fake logs that looked like a fireplace when it was switched on. I should have called to inquire about the fireplace before I made any assumptions, so that was my lesson learned, but I did feel cheated. Clean, small hotel. Good location and friendly service. Breakfast was free but very simple. They were offering english breakfast etc with extra money. Good location on a quiet street.

Clock radio would not dock with my iPhone. Otherwise a perfect experience.

For us, the location could not be better, since we have family in center city, close to Rittenhouse Square. The hotel welcomed us as if we were family, and were eager to be of assistance for any and all needs, small and large. A block off of Rittenhouse Square this hotel is a pleasure. We've stayed multiple times while visiting relatives who live nearby. Close to the lively square, restaurants, and stores, but on a relatively quiet street. Continental breakfast included with the option to purchase cooked to order entrees. I think they could've included Orange Juice with […] the continental breakfast, but it was available fresh squeezed for a charge. We prefer to use the stairs and the small elevator can get you up and down the vertical building, but if you are challenged by stairs I'd suggest something more conventional than this B&B. Devamı

I stayed in the Presidential Suite this past weekend (the night before my wedding and the night of my wedding) and was absolutely blown away by the hotel and hotel staff. Everyone who works here went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure my bridal party (who used the suite to get ready) and I were comfortable. I stayed unfortunately only one night at the hotel due to work travel, however it was a pleasurable experience. The service was immediately above and beyond most chain hotels. The room was very clean and comfortable. Due to size they are missing a few amenities, but all of that is very close to the hotel anyway. Stayed at the Rittenhouse Hotel and could not fault either the hotel or the staff. Marian was very helpful and sorted out Eagles tickets for us. Hotel is very convenient for everything and is extremely comfortable and clean. Would definitely recommend staying here. A big thank you to all the staff for you help much appreciated.

We stayed here with our 3 year old for one night. The staff were super friendly, the hotel super cute and I rated them highly. However the place is just not for kids - really nice furniture and china everywhere - its really just for a romantic getaway. The breakfast was not so great and you had to pay for an omelette. This was ridiculous as we were […] paying alot of money to stay there. I think their prices are just too high you could stay nearly anywhere in Philadelphia for the amount of money we paid and they do not have any amenities at the hotel. I had not known this charming boutique hotel existed in all these years of going to Philadelphia. It's tucked in a quiet street off ritzy Rittenhouse Square. The staff is very helpful, professional and has the right balance of being present but not too obtrusive. The room is very nicely done, large and cozy. The night we stayed, there was a problem […] with a slow drain in the bathrooms sink. I could hear the footsteps of the people in the room above. The continental breakfast had all the usual hardboiled eggs (omelets extra), croissant, juice and coffee, but it was served by an attractive, charming young woman. i am picky about hotels. here there is nothing to be picky about. it has been wonderfully redone and the staff anticipate your every need. they get a well done from me.

I would warmly recommand this hotel.All was perfect and the team very helpfull and friendly In the room you have all you need and more... Go there you will not be desappointed

The hotel was a nice hotel and the employees were polite. I expected a little more considering the location and cost. For instance, there is no WI-Fi or HBO/Showtime. The room we had was average size and clean, but nothing special. Maybe the more expensive rooms are more interesting. Overall, we had a good night, but it was nothing special.

Although there is no HBO or fitness center, the hotel is wonderful, led by a great staff of friendly and helpful people. The location is dynamite, within walking distance to numerous good restaurants. Be ready to spend $85 for a steak at the Barclay Proime restaurant around the corner. We'd stay at the Rittenhouse 1715 again in a heartbeat.

Overall we had a very nice experience at the hotel. It is very much like a bed and breakfast rather than the normal hotel experience. The staff were very friendly, helpful and aimed to please. The location was great for us. We walked to all our events and meals on a graduation weekend. Two minor disappointments were the "wine social" and having to make […] a call to have our bath cleaned appropriately one time.For the "wine social" the one time we attended had about 1/3 bottel of a white wine and a few crackers. The room was on the small side and the wireless internet did not work. Although there was little street noise, the noise from other guests was disturbing on a number of occasions. The staff were very helpful and the food at breakfast was varied and well stocked.

This hotel is small but very quaint. It is in a great area, near shopping and restaurants. The staff was very helpful and the room was a good size (for 3). We are looking forward to our next stay there!

Hotel was beautiful and hidden away from but a very close walk to the bustling streets of Philadelphia. Hotel does not have parking but recommends a couple local daily rate garages (2 blocks away) so make sure you drop off your luggage before parking in the garage. Rooms are small but very nicely organized, decorated and cleaned. Continental breakfast […] (included) isn't really worth it unless you pay extra for the hot items. No room service but the hotels information binder contains a couple menus of take out places nearby, one of which is 24 hours. Great time for a couple. Would NOT recommend for families with children. Not really a hotel but way more than a bed and breakfast. The Rittenhouse is in a great location and accessable to tons of great food and shopping. The staff there was FANTASTIC and directed us towards some great things to do. They even have a complementary wine hour for all you winos!( Breakfast is complementary if its cold-must pay for hot.) other than the small room, rest was very good. Friendly staff too. Nearby construction noise and no hotel parking could be negatives for some.

I was so pleased with this hotel. I find it increasingly difficult to find good customer service, and the Rittenhouse had it. The area is great, with many good shops and restaurants nearby. 15 blocks away is old town.

BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN BOOKING THIS HOTEL THAT THIS IS THE RIGHT RITTENHOUSE HOTEL YOU ARE LOOKING FOR BECAUSE THERE ARE THREE HOTELS WITH THE SAME NAME IN A ONE MILE RADIUS. ONLY ONE OF THEM IS PET FRIENDLY. IF IT IS THIS HOTEL YOUR LOOKING FOR THEN THE HOTEL STAFF WAS VERY CURTIOUS AND ACCOMIDATING TO MY DOG SITUATION BUT THERE WAS NO SPA AND ROOMSERVICE. […] I ALSO HAD A HARD TIME REACHING THE FRONT DESK BECAUSE THE SECRETARY WAS PLAYING THE ROLL OF BELL BOY AS WELL AS HOUSEKEEPING TO THE WHOLE HOTEL. IT WAS LOCATED DOWN A VERY NARROW STREET THAT WAS UNDER CONSTRUCTION SO IT MADE FOR A BUMPY RIDE EVERY TIME. THE ONLY PLACE TO PARK WAS AT THE GARAGE ACROSS THE STREET WHICH WAS $32.00 PER NIGHT EXTRA AND THE ATTENDANTS WERE SARCASTIC AND NASTY. I WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. THIS IS NOT A BOUTIQUE HOTEL AS IT CLAIMS TO BE. Devamı

The hotel was as expected, with all the details and attention to luxury that was mentioned in other reviews and on their website. We had a superior room with a very nice bathroom. The hotel itself is charming, with elements of luxury in every corner. Staff were very attentive and nice. The breakfast area is really nice and even though they don't use […] matching China it still had a nice feel to it, food options are limited but are OK. The wine reception was also a welcome event every afternoon. The rooms are not bad at all. Renovated with wonderful bathrooms. We had three issues with the hotel: -The first night, we were in a superior room on the 3rd floor (room 322) and there was a very noticable engine sound coming from nearby, we talked to the front desk staff and they were very nice and apologized, but said hotel was full. We were moved promptly the next day to a quiet room. -The bed in the first room was comfortable, not as much though in the second room. -The wireless internet was bad, it kept disconecting and was not reliable. Honestly, everything else was excellent. To the point that if they fixed the above 2 maters (bed and internet) I would come back in a heartbeat. Devamı

Everything one would expect in a botique hotel is here. The rooms are quaint modern and comfortable. The free breakfast is super and the staff friendly. They even have a small wine reception (need some cheese and red wines)!

The hotel was quite nice in appearance. The evening wine social was pretty weak with only one type available. Our room was small but well appointed. The air conditioner/ heater was very loud all night. Our bed was so bad that my wife and I were rolling to the middle because it was completely worn out or broken. This hotel is not on Rittenhouse Square […] but was close enough for a nice stroll over to dinner at Lacroix. That dinner saved the weekend for us! Devamı
