Not really a hotel but way more than a bed and breakfast. The Rittenhouse is in a great location and accessable to tons of great food and shopping. The staff there was FANTASTIC and directed us towards some great things to do. They even have a complementary wine hour for all you winos!( Breakfast is complementary if its cold-must pay for hot.) other than the small room, rest was very good. Friendly staff too. Nearby construction noise and no hotel parking could be negatives for some.

I was so pleased with this hotel. I find it increasingly difficult to find good customer service, and the Rittenhouse had it. The area is great, with many good shops and restaurants nearby. 15 blocks away is old town.

BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN BOOKING THIS HOTEL THAT THIS IS THE RIGHT RITTENHOUSE HOTEL YOU ARE LOOKING FOR BECAUSE THERE ARE THREE HOTELS WITH THE SAME NAME IN A ONE MILE RADIUS. ONLY ONE OF THEM IS PET FRIENDLY. IF IT IS THIS HOTEL YOUR LOOKING FOR THEN THE HOTEL STAFF WAS VERY CURTIOUS AND ACCOMIDATING TO MY DOG SITUATION BUT THERE WAS NO SPA AND ROOMSERVICE. […] I ALSO HAD A HARD TIME REACHING THE FRONT DESK BECAUSE THE SECRETARY WAS PLAYING THE ROLL OF BELL BOY AS WELL AS HOUSEKEEPING TO THE WHOLE HOTEL. IT WAS LOCATED DOWN A VERY NARROW STREET THAT WAS UNDER CONSTRUCTION SO IT MADE FOR A BUMPY RIDE EVERY TIME. THE ONLY PLACE TO PARK WAS AT THE GARAGE ACROSS THE STREET WHICH WAS $32.00 PER NIGHT EXTRA AND THE ATTENDANTS WERE SARCASTIC AND NASTY. I WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. THIS IS NOT A BOUTIQUE HOTEL AS IT CLAIMS TO BE. Devamı

The hotel was as expected, with all the details and attention to luxury that was mentioned in other reviews and on their website. We had a superior room with a very nice bathroom. The hotel itself is charming, with elements of luxury in every corner. Staff were very attentive and nice. The breakfast area is really nice and even though they don't use […] matching China it still had a nice feel to it, food options are limited but are OK. The wine reception was also a welcome event every afternoon. The rooms are not bad at all. Renovated with wonderful bathrooms. We had three issues with the hotel: -The first night, we were in a superior room on the 3rd floor (room 322) and there was a very noticable engine sound coming from nearby, we talked to the front desk staff and they were very nice and apologized, but said hotel was full. We were moved promptly the next day to a quiet room. -The bed in the first room was comfortable, not as much though in the second room. -The wireless internet was bad, it kept disconecting and was not reliable. Honestly, everything else was excellent. To the point that if they fixed the above 2 maters (bed and internet) I would come back in a heartbeat. Devamı

Everything one would expect in a botique hotel is here. The rooms are quaint modern and comfortable. The free breakfast is super and the staff friendly. They even have a small wine reception (need some cheese and red wines)!

The hotel was quite nice in appearance. The evening wine social was pretty weak with only one type available. Our room was small but well appointed. The air conditioner/ heater was very loud all night. Our bed was so bad that my wife and I were rolling to the middle because it was completely worn out or broken. This hotel is not on Rittenhouse Square […] but was close enough for a nice stroll over to dinner at Lacroix. That dinner saved the weekend for us! Devamı

Place was great. One of the nicest hotels I've stayed in.

The staff was nice and checking in/out was easy. Evening wine social was a nice surprise. Breakfast could have been a little better. Would it kill you to have omlets or something? You have to pay for your own parking. The thing that bothered me the most was the cheap Scott toliet paper. Nothing says classy like the cheapest tp on the market. We had an amazing stay at the Rittenhouse 1715! We were greeted at the door by a friendly staff-member and she showed us to our room. The room was clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was wonderful. We felt as if we were at a bed in breakfast in Southern France! It was quaint but very well appointed. Our stay at Rittenhouse1715 was a delightful experience. The staff were gracious, the decor very classy, the bed comfortable and the "continental" breakfast well beyond the usual simple fare. Lots of choices. The jacuzzi jets were not working in the tub but otherwise things seemed in good repair.

A beautiful period house converted into a luxury B&B. Room was excellent, breakfasts very good and the staff exceptionally helpful and friendly with good recommendations on restaurants, shops etc. Beautiful and convenient location.

Hotel was very convenient with Downtown offices and restaurants within easy walking distance. Area appears to be very safe. My hotel room was somewhat small but very clean and attractively furnished. I would stay again.

As soon as you enter, you are taking in the cheery decorations. You encounter the front desk staff- who are pleasant and helpful. If you are above the second floor, you have a bit of a walk-up.... not a big deal because you won't carry your own bags. The room is luxurious and comfortable. They have turn-down service. This hotel is just around the corner […] from Rittenhouse Square. It is a prime location, but just off the beaten path. You don't have all the traffic outside. The entire experience was wonderful. This is a Bread and Breakfast hotel. The facility is high quality. The staff is very helpful and professional. I preferred this hotel to the typical large lobby and numerous people experience. This B&B is very well managed. The location is central to downtown Philadelphia. It is worth every dollar.

a delightful property; will go back next time in Philadelphia. my room was luxuriously appointed; beautiful bathroom, fireplace, comfortable bed. However, if you can't walk up stairs, request a room on the first or second floors - the elevator doesn't go to the third floor.

This is a great little hotel in an excellent location in Rittenhouse Square. Very small, only like 28 rooms bit the staff is great and they have a nice continental breakfast. The only negative, and it is not really a negative at all is that there is no hotel parking. There is a lot across the street, but it does not have 24 hour security. The recommended […] parking location is 2 blocks away. Not a big deal, but it could be in bad weather.. There is a nice little French Bistro around the corner with sidewalk dinning. Good value, short walk from Rittenhouse Sq, eclectic furnishings. Friendly and helpful staff--a bit hard to get to by car. AC is centrally controlled, had to call to ask it to be turned down Would definitely stay there again and recommend to others

Truly the best of both worlds. Very unique and comfortable room. Right in the middle of downtown but tucked away down a side street that was very quiet. Literally 1/2 block from Rittenhouse Square, fancy eating, shops....very surprised and look forward to a repeat visit.

For the price you can find better hotels in the surrounding area. The jet tub was broken and the clerk at the front desk was less than friendly.

This place rocked! A rustic boutique style hotel with the rooms having a contemporary feel. Everyone was so pleasant and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Close to shops and downtown entertainment.

Can't say enough about this boutique hotel. The staff are very personable and helpful. Hotel comfortable and clean. Great neighborhood.

The room at the Rittenhouse was beautiful, but be aware that it is a corner of a great neighborhood; i.e., facing a parking lot. Moreover, the breakfast room was beautiful, but the hotel does not pretend to be a B&B. Sugared cakes, sugared pastries, sugared cereals, etc. - a little bit below Hilton Garden Inn standards.

This boutique hotel was magnificent. There have been some reviewers that have complained about the noise (construction near by)... I do not know what they were talking about. We arrived and were greeted by a very friendly front desk rep. Gave us our code card - no keys and told us about the wine reception; all in a matter of minutes. We proceeded to […] go up to the room. The lobby looked like it had been ripped from a designer magazine. Once we got to the room we were surprised at all the amenities. the shower was to die for. The bed, the fireplace, the lighting, it was all very elegant and strategically placed. The linens were fresh and the ambience was unbelievable. We went out for dinner to a nearby restaurant (Branzino's). There are a number of fabulous restaurants in the area, all within a few steps of this hotel. This is a true gem in the city. Devamı

Very nice - room decor, staff, location all excellent. My only issue was that I had asked for hypoallergenic bedding and didn't get it so I had allergies...

Can't rave enough. May be a bit too cute for some business types but I loved it. Great location on a quiet side street, but only a few steps from all the Rittenhouse Sq. action. The excellent continental breakfast, free WiFi and nightly wine reception add up to out of pocket savings for me.

We enjoyed lovely hospitality, with the concierge going out of her way on more than one occasion to make our stay pleasant. Breakfast offerings were tasty, and the evening wine reception very nice. We would definitely stay again!

This hidden gem is ideally located in Rittenhouse Square, barely noticed from the sidewalk. It is quiet, small and has a high level of service. A definite must for those looking to get out of the mayhem of a large hotel.

The hotel met all of our expectations. Service is top notch. Excellent breakfast of fresh fruit and pastries included. Great location.
