It was a nice hotel, but the pillows were a little hard.

The reception clerk was helpful and very nice. Full of info. Being close to stateline its popular with people wanting to gamble and drink so they like the location. We were skiing and just wanted to sleep. The front desk was quick to respond to the room with the noisy party and solved the issue. The jacuzzi and sauna are a bit dated, but worked fine. […] Breakfast had a nice selection of cereals/ breads/ bagels/ fruit/ waffles/ juice/ coffee/ milk and the fellow running that was totally on top of it and kept it clean and well stocked. For an older hotel, they have done a nice job keeping it up. Our room appeared to have been recently painted with new bathroom fixtures and carpet. Room was quite spacious with two queen beds, a table with four chairs and a kitchen area, with microwave, toaster, coffee pot and refrigerator. Hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Great breakfast […] with English muffins, huge bagels, three cereal choices, juice and coffee. Cleaning service was fast and thorough. The hotel location is right at Stateline and within walking distance to the casinos and Heavenly ski run and is also in walking distance from the lake. It is a quiet neighborhood. My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel. Great accommodation! They served breakfast too which was really a nice touch. Rooms were clean!

Although it was not the nicest hotel, the staff was nice, the room was clean and the price was right, would definitely stay there again!

Room was clean. The staff was very helpful in everything. Breakfast was not bad. Don't expect a 5 star hotel breakfast lol but some bagels milk coffee waffles lots of fruits which is good the basic . I liked this place the rooms very clean no elevator but hey just 2 sets of stairs don't be lazy you're going snowboarding sking come one its not the end […] of the world hahaha I give it a plus I'm coming back. You can't beat this hotel for price so when I am looking at bargain motels I'm always a little frightened. However, this motel was surprisingly OK. It was basic but it was clean and roomy and the staff was courteous and accomodating. We had a room with 2 queen beds and it was basic, clean and roomy. Hotel is a typical motel, located very close (walking distance) to South Lake Tahoe casinos. We were there to ski, and it is a little too far to walk with ski boots and carrying skis, but there is a free shuttle bus that runs every 20 minutes from the front of the hotel to the transit center located next to the Heavenly gondola. The breakfast was better than many motels in this class, and included cold cereal, fresh bagels with cream cheese and preserves, fresh fruit, toaster waffles, coffee and juice. The room appeared recently painted, and was clean. Plenty of hot water, and maid service was good. Towels were a little small and not very soft, but typical. Toiletries were provided, as were some heavy duty disposable towels for wiping off windows or skis or whatever. Clerk at front desk (Shawn) was very friendly and made me feel welcome. If you are looking for a clean, well priced room in a convenient location, this is your place. If you are looking a fancy hotel, with fancy prices, keep looking. Devamı

Price / Value: best in the area. The front desk staff is very pleasant and knowledgable about the area. The location is close to all ski resorts in S. Lake Tahoe. The Room was warm and clean

no refrigerator, no microwave, super slow internet service. If in a room across the street forget about wifi. Breakfast could be better, a lot better. If you just want a room to sleep in, then this hotel is fine.

A friend and I decided last minute to run up to South Shore for the night and booked a room here. The location is great! Walking distance to the beach and the casinos. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our room was spacious and clean. There were plenty of towels, pillows, and blankets...and the water was always hot when we needed it! We had small black ants in the bathroom. You could smell a spray, but the ants were still there. We did them all in, I think. The room was small. Almost a mini TV. Breakfast was very crowed and they ran out of cereal.

Popular hotel close to action. Breakfast a bit hectic lots of hungry guests however staff very helpful. Rooms basic but most importantly clean. Good price and very handy walking distance to lake and shops lift etc.

No elevator, we had to carry our luggage all the way up to our room in the third floor. The mattress was uncomfortable with the pillows so thin, and the comforter was inconvenient. The sliding door to the balcony was set to open in a peculiar way. No LCD tv. Breakfast was okay though. All in all that's what you get for a low price.

The room was quiet and warm with large table and armchairs. If you want to hit the slopes in a short time, the hotel is well located. And you can treat yourself to spa after a day of skiing. On the bad side, the room doesn't have microwave, refrigerator or even coffeemaker and breakfast is very-very basic and no good at all. Besides, breakfast is served […] from 8 am which is late. Good hotel was conievent location.

Best Tahoe West Inn was in perfect walking distance to Harvey's and the lake. The rooms are a little old and could use some updating. I have no complaints and I would stay there again.

Went up for an overnight ski trip with a friend. Great value. We got a good deal on the room it was very clean and warmed before we got there. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was nice and the hotel I'd walking distance to the casinos. Will come back for sure.

everything was fabulous. no frills but excellent location to casinos and beach. limited hot water though.

Bathroom shower had hardly any water coming out from it. Beds kinda lumpy, old tv which didn't work too well

For the price, you couldn't beat it. Close beach access and five minutes from Heavenly. Located by restaurants and casinos. Not in great condition because it is old and has old, somewhat uncomfortable beds but the service was great and the room was clean. Good enough for a night or weekend stay to board.

Very nice basic hotel. Was clean, quiet, safe, warm. Nothing fancy but was perfect for our stay. The staff were helpful, it was close to everything. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Booked this hotel at the last minute...skiing on a budget and Best Tahoe West met the bottom line. The outside of the hotel is a bit run down, but nothing that would make you say uh-oh. The room (standard queen) was definitely big enough, and the electric baseboard heaters kept the room comfortable (and it was below freezing the nights we were there). […] It was reasonably quiet, although there were times that I could clearly hear people talking outside. The continental breakfast, while nothing extravigant, is enough to get you going in the morning. Bathroom and shower were clean and worked well. They also have ski lockers where you can keep your equipment (they'll give you a combo lock for a refundable $5 deposit if you don't have your own). It's just a short walk to the Heavenly Gondola, or a two-minute drive to Harrah's for free parking (you'll have to walk two blocks from there to get to the Gondola). The bed was as hard as a rock, so I had a bit of trouble getting to sleep at night. Also, they only give you two pillows, but were more than willing to give me more. The general manager was very nice, as was the night manager. For the price and location, I'd definitely stay here again. Devamı

Glimrende til prisen, ikke fancy men ganske fint til en overnatning eller flere. Venligt og hjælpsomt personale, meget søde. Lidt lydt hotel dog, morgenmaden forholdsvis simpel men ok.
