Novotel Paris Porte d'Italie - Paris

Ideal location when traveling north towards Paris on A6. Cheerful and very helpful staff happy to give advise on direction and metro stops for the sights of Paris. Rooms clean with all mod cons of safe, hair dryer, tea and coffee facilities. Good size for family of 4 ( 2 &. 2), bath and seperate shower. Buffet Breakfast - a mixture of cooked and continental […] options... Enjoyed by adults and children alike. Hotel easy to find, 5 mins walk from the metro station and approx 15 mins to the Eiffle tower metro stop. Nice local restaurants serving a variety of options on the menu and quite reasonably priced. The upside is that the hotel itself was very nice, clean, helpful staff, decent restaurant. The drawback was it's location. The nearest useful metro station is Maison Blanche which is quite a walk. If the weather was bad or we were coming back to the hotel after dark we ended up getting a taxi. So what we saved on the price of the hotel we spent on […] taxis. Room was an adequate size for a family (2 Adults and 2 Kids). 10mins walk from the Metro and into the heart of Paris within 15mins. Hotel was clean. Breakfast was fine. We had dinner one evening and was reasonably priced. Overall we enjoed our stay.

I really enjoyed my stay at Novotel Paris Porte D Italie. The hotel services were excellent and staff was very helpful.Breakfast buffet is included and was very good. Metro was about 10minute walk and easy access to central paris. OK for the price.

Hotel and room were nice, but very HOT!!!! No AC and windows could not be opened. Breakfast was excellent and the hotel was close to the train station.

Depending what's your reason for going, this hotel is a bit out of the way from Paris and the metro is a ten minute walk which could not be less associated with romantic walks Paris is associated for. However if you're there on your own, the hotel does the job well with a nice room and good breakfast.

Great hotel for families - we had a child and a baby and the room was really clean and spacious. Hotel staff were excellent - very helpful and friendly. The hotel is a little way out from the centre but the Metro is very close and its on really useful metro line. The website states that Kremlin-Bicetre is the closest metro but actually Porte d'Italie […] is closer. Devamı

Although staff were pleasant the hotel was shabby and certainly not 4 star. The eating area needed a good vacumn and the dishes they served on at breakfast did not seem very clean. The room was standard/average (nothing to write home about). There is cofee/tea making facilities in the room but one day they forgot the coffee, another day the coffee cream, which is a bit annoying. Free internet and there is a safe deposit box in the room, which is nice. Location is 15 min walk to chinatown where all the asian restaurants and shops […] are, but a bit far to the city center. Anywhere you go (Eiffel, Louvre, etc), allow at least 45min-1 hr incl. the 10 min walk to the closest tram/metro station. 1hr 30 min to the airport by RER. Our return flight was in the late afternoon. I was looking for a locker at Gare du Nord because I did not want to waste 1-2 hrs going back to the hotel, get our luggages and go to the Airport (through the city). But I was told the lockers were closed due to security reasons. So I and my 9yr old daughter wandered around in the city dragging our bags around. Next time, I'd rather find a hotel in the northern part of the city or right at the city center. Devamı

The hotel was lovely and the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel is a bit of a distance from the city, we had a bit of trouble with the metro and the street is not that friendly looking. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Room is clean above average, comfortable beds, reasonably new carpet and fittings. Breakfast is all you can eat with many choices. Located quite far from central paris but still quite convenient to travel with public transport. Metro and tram is about 10-15min walk from hotel. hotel was fine.... not the friendliest staff but not rude either... separate toilet and bathroom arrangement meaning you had to switch rooms to wash your hands..... would drive you nuts if your not with family. area fine for shops etc but a little dodgy... a lot of pill boxes and smashed glass on the roads.... i wouldn't have felt safe on my own. easy […] to get to by metro. all in all is was fine for us but wouldn't be for everyone Devamı

Room was very nice for three people. Very large and clean. Breakfast buffet is included and was very good. Dinner was terrific. Reasonably close to the airport as well as to the town. Would strongly recommend.

The rooms need better maintenance and the directions from the tube station need to be amended. When we follow the direction of the one way we go in the opposite direction. This needs to be made clear that we need to go opposite to the direction of the one way.

Novotel was great, the hotel is in excellent condition and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The only problem is that the location is not within walking distance of a lot of the main attractions in Paris. The Porte D'Italie Metro station is only a 5-10 minute walk away though, if you don't mind riding the […] Metro then you can get everywhere you want to be within 30-45 min. (Walking and ride time included). There are however numerous restaurants and bakeries within walking distance of the hotel for a quick and convenient breakfast or dinner. First of all getting to the hotel from charles de gaulle is a bit of a trek with the hotel right at the south of paris, overlooking the boulevard prelifique which has constant traffic. When we got there to check in at 12, we were told because we wanted a non smoking room we would have to wait until one was cleaned. so we waited for about half hour and […] one was ready. After getting into the room a few things we noticed, a rubbish bag under the bed, a horrible smell and a ripped duvet cover. we had to call for the maid to bring some fabreese as the smell was disgusting. other than that it was nice. This hotel was nice, but is 10-15 minutes from the metro and it's actually just outside of Paris. It took us 45 minutes from leaving our room to go to the metro and then to the Eiffel Tower. Lets be clear, this isn't a romantic jewel of a hotel in one of paris' best locations - if you want that look elsewhere and pay far more - what it is is a decent well priced hotel close to the metro. We found it very cost effective for a family of four as the spacious room had both a double and a foldout double bed. Room was clean and new, air conditioned, […] and had a surprisingly nice bath and separate shower. Free wifi and a minibar were also nice to find. We stayed in this hotel on a Thursday night, hotel was clean and furnished ok, but room was small. 3 of us had prebooked into the room, but they only gave us 2 towels, and 2 (paper) cups. we had to ring reception twice to get another cup and towel. we looked for a bottle opener at 12am - as the bar was closed, but they had none!! we had to go to 3 other […] hotels to get a bottle opener - so bring your own if you want a drink! I really enjoyed my stay at Novotel Paris Porte D Italie. The hotel services were excellent and staff was very helpful. I just have one complain that they just have two English TV channels. :)

Nice room and accommodations bu too far away from major attractions if you are are only in Paris for a day or two.

This hotel was suitable for us, after a little venturing we were able to find a shopping centre and china town is just down the road a short 5-6 minute walk. Metro is also quite close by, we were going to De Choissy (approx 8 minute walk) as it was closer than De Italie this hotel is also very close to Orly Airport it cost in peak traffic 25 Euros. […] No major problems with the hotel apart from the fact that in 4 nights woke up one morning to no hot water which wasn't rectified till 11.30am (so we had to wait to go out) and their was no apology or form of compensation (i.e. like a small voucher for the restaurant or something for the inconvienience). Also for the Novotel and the price I would have liked to have at least one English channel other than BBC News (I would assume that not just French people visit Paris!!). My biggest complaint would be when I asked for a metered taxi to the airport (CDG) I instead had a airport transfer van arrive were the cost was 70 Euros (for a 35 min trip!!). I asked the hotel for a metered taxi but I also asked about cost (approx) and was never told yet their was a set price. Believe a cut of my fair went to the hotel which is out of order! Devamı

Wonderfully connected with local transports like Metro, bus and trams. Pleasing entrance and friendly staff. Rooms are spacious and service is very Prompt.

I would stay here only if the price is very attractive compared to other options. Location is ok - about 7-10 minutes walk from Porto De Italie metro station - but the condition of the pathways from station to hotel is not that good. with heavy traffic, you need to be careful. From Porto De Italie, you can reach Louvre station in about 20 odd minutes. we […] experienced issues with water heating - one day there was not heated water at all. After enquiry we were told that there is technical issue, but there was no estimated time to fix the issue. And the response was rude. Would expect more polite handling of the query, if guests are facing issues due to no fault of theirs. room size is ok. neighborhood is not good - though i won't term is as very bad. Overwhelmed by the choices, I chose this hotel since it was close to a close train station. EXTREMELY comfortable hotel! Very Clean!

I will only rate this hotel as OK and its definitely worth looking around before you end up in this hotel. Its only a 3 star hotel and not 4 star as states . Stayed there 5 nights. Everyday had issues with breakfast such as frozen bread, long waiting times etc. Room was quite clean but cramped with hardly any storage space for even our luggage and clothes. […] Was charged 75 Euros for parking the car in hotel premises although this not informed about this when we checked in. Love is hotel. The only thing is it cost to park your car. Unless, you can find parking outside. Other than that everybody was really nice and the rooms were nice and clean. I would stay there again.

Excellent hotel accommodation - new hotel. We booked a triple room which came with a large double bed and a double sofa bed. Everything clean with plenty of room and super bathroom. Only thing wrong was breakfast egg, tomatoes, sausages etc was cold.............and toaster did not work. Plenty of fresh fruit on offer with yogurt.

Stayed 2 nights in July 2010. Was able to park car in car park under hotel (low entrance so beware if carrying roof-racks, bikes, etc). Reception friendly, room spotless with view of Périphérique ring road. Breakfast was fine so overall happy with the hotel and the rate was very good. Metro is 10-15 min walk which is the only slightly negative comment. (Tip: […] if driving out of Paris, be prepared for serious traffic jams - "les bouchons". We left at 5am to beat the rush Devamı

Отель хороший, завтраки сытные...рядом метро, магазин Ашан, винный магазин Nicolas... Отель пограничный, буквально два разых квартала делит станция метро...Один квартал более благополучный, похож на Париж, другой менее - грязно, да и люди угрожающей внешности... Вечером гулять не выходили.

Dans l'ensemble c'est bien, le nettoyage de la chambre pas au top pour un 4 étoiles, une drôle d'odeur dans le parking souterrain. La réception internet wifi pas super dans la chambre.

We zijn met drie personen naar het Novotel Porte d'Italie geweest voor een verblijf van 2 nachten. We hebben met z'n drieën op de kamer geslapen waarvan één bed de bank betrof. De kamer was netjes, alleen de douchestang zat los. We hebben verder geen gebruik gemaakt van de faciliteiten van het hotel zoals het ontbijt. Bij de receptie werken vriendelijke […] mensen die je helpen met kaartjes voor bijvoorbeeld de Moulin Rouge. Net hotel zeker een aanrader. Devamı

très bien sans le petit déjeuner prix 16.50 euros !!!!! sinon le silence pas de bruit entre les chambres et vue sur la tour Eiffel. Le prix du parking est élevé mais c'est normal dans la région

Un très bon accueil et des prestations de qualité. Nous avons passé un agréable moment en famille. Très calme, pas de bruit malgré la situation de l'hôtel. Personnel souriant et à l'écoute.

Très facile d'accès en voiture, très vite et proche du périphérique et confort de parking avce le parking en sous-sol. Proximité des transports en commun (tram, métro...) pour se rendre sans encombre en centre ville. Qualité du service et de l'hygiène irréprochable.
