Richmond Hill Hotel - Londra

The Hotel is in a very good location, however the room was very average, and the TV had poor reception. Unfortunately my sleep was interupted on both nights by very noisy guests and staff. I did make the Reception staff aware of my problems but to no avail, on the plus side the Restaurant is nicely located and Staff very helpfull. The adjoining Gym […] and pool are close to the hotel but unfortunately were packed with Club Members and Children during my weekend stay, If I stay here again I will ensure that I book a room in a different part of the Hotel. We went to the hotel for a function black tie event, when we arrived there was some confusion about another booking coming up in the next couple of days which I was told I had made, but hadn't. Obviously worrying it took several hours to sort out when it was there was no explanation. The room was very small, no shower gel, only one tissue left in the […] box, no water in the room, no breakfast, as we had a basic room despite paying what I believe is a significant amount for it. Nice location and confortable hotel.

This hotel is a very nice hotel and we had a very pleasant stay. It must be noted that this hotel is close to Richmond Park and therefore around ten to fifteen minutes walk from the station. However, the walk is pleasant and a taxi cost us around 5gbp from the train station. Take this option when you first arrive as it is a little up hill to walk to […] the hotel with luggage. Great location, and easy to get to and park. Friendly staff, offering good service. Biggest downside is that the rooms are tiny - a double (full-size) bed takes up most of the room, and very little space to open even a roll aboard case. Totally perfunctory stay for Christmas dinner. Very cosy in the standard room and a rather inflated £16 for breakfast. But adequate if you are in the neighbourhood in the need of a clean and pleasant room. I do wonder why they persist (along with many other hotels) of individual wrapped bars of soap that will be used a handful of times in an overnight […] stay. Devamı

This is the most wonderful location for those who want to take a break from the hussle of London but have access to it. However if you want quick access to London its a bit far out as once you have caught the tube or the main line train to Richmond, the bus ride is a stretch too far as you can wait a while for the bus. The taxi fare from the station […] to the hotel is about 6 - 8 GBP, its a bit far to walk with luggage or shopping. Richmond town and environs are so beautiful that its worth spending a few days in the town, Hampton Court Palace, the Park etc followed by the spa facilities on the hotel premises - its magical. With regards to the hotel the one frustration was that the room sizes on the website were not in keeping with the size of my actual room. Also (if I have to be picky) I had checked in for four nights - the hotel allocated a room on the ground floor facing the car park! Over all a wonderful stay - the staff were great. Devamı

Stayed here a few months ago and room (double) was tired and small. Reserved same class of room but had a refurbished room with a king and flat screen tv... great location, and staff does a nice job.

Service is worst and recd no apogies, rooms are very small, not convenient location....and very expensive for what you get...

Great hotel - excellent location for either walking into town or slightly further up the hill into Richmond Park. We were a bit disappointed to find on arrival that we had additional costs of overnight parking of £5.00 per night. Richmond is lovely and being so close to the Park is excellent, although the walk down to Richmond is great, walking back up the hill is less so Too far to walk from the station, and not simple to see where to get off the bus Hotel fine, room was a bit small and noisy, but given the cheap price no complaints

A good hotel in a beautiful location. The standard double rooms are too small though and the walls are very thin!

as the title says, this was a pretty hotel, though the room was small in my view for the price. What I didn't like was the noise from the two parties going on at the same time. I stayed here overnight for a business meetings on a Saturday and tried to sleep at 11pm but had two competing discos fill my room with noise. I stayed in the sister hotel (next […] door) in the past and enjoyed it, next time I will make sure I book that and not the Richmond Hill. Devamı

bit dated, i would not recommend!

Typical European hotel with small rooms (double), and bathrooms, but features were ok (bathroom, tv, etc.) Hotel staff was efficient and professional. Great location for a quiet walk thru neighborhoods and the river.

VERY DATED AND FADED HOTEL IN URGENT NEED OF A REFURBISHMENT.THE WINDOW GLASS IS SINGLE GLAZED , AT LEAST 50 YEARS OLD AND RUNS WITH CONDENSATION. THE BATHROOM FIXTURES ARE OLD AND TIRED AND THE HOTEL IS NOT 4 STAR IN MY OPINION.

A very characterful and pleasing experience, and the real pay-off is the location high above the river with wonderul views from the terraces across the road. A short walk into Richmond town center which is delightful and there are excellent restaurants. Makes a perfect base for exploring the western suburbs of London - Ham House, Osterley, as far in […] perhaps as Chiswick Villa etc and outward to Hampton Court, but NOT really a sensible base for inner London tourism. Excellent hotel and very well maintained. The rooms are not overly large, yet well appointed. The internet was somewhat flaky, and I decided to forgo paying for the connection after the 20 minute complimentary period. Richmond is a very comfortable area of London. Plenty of food within easy walking distance down the hill. There is a large park area […] across the street and there is always a fair number of people walking the neighborhood. Devamı

Nice hotel, we upgraded to an executive suite but wasn't put in one. Had to ask to see other rooms before being moved (which was hassle free). Could have been a problem if they were fully booked. Staff were nice and friendly, and the surrounding area was also nice. All in all, as there isn't much else around that area I would stay there again.

Lovely staff, lovely hotel, good breakfast. There were three of us in the room so it was a bit cramped but overall I enjoyed my stay.

We stayed there with my 94 year old mother because of nostalgia, as we stayed there several times when I was 8. 52 years ago. Since then small en suites have been added making the small rooms tiny. The first room they showed us to on 4th floor had a tiny double bed. I hate double beds. There was less than a meter space around the bed. there was no shelving, […] cupboards or drawers, only about 80cm of hanging space behind the door which also housed the ironing board. This is our 20th trip around the World, each at least a month, so have stayed in a few Hotels. This room was the worst ever, except that tiny bed appeared reasonably comfortable. I went to the desk and asked if there were any rooms with a bigger bed. The staff were very helpful, but I got the impression they were not impressed by criticism, as no doubt they had heard it before. I was showed to a slightly larger room with a King sized bed. This had an arm chair and a small desk and a small table. It was squeezy, but workable and the bed was excellent. My mother had the tiny room next door and said the bed was very good, as it would be if you are 5' high and weigh 50kg, and there is one of you, but her overall impression of the room was "Horrible" The Bathroom was OK with a good shower, over the bath, but there was no space to put anything and no shelf space. The elevator was tiny and could hold 4 slim people, if they were friendly, or 1 person with a suitcase, but it wasn't a problem. The Restaurant was EXCELLENT. Staff were great. Breakfast was as good as it could be and the evening and lunch meals were superb. I am a Gym junkie and the Gym was excellent and one of the best I have seen attached to a Hotel. I would stay here again if I was guaranteed the King room, but the normal room is way below 2 star. The Hotel is clean and quaint, but is saved by the restaurant and the gym. Devamı

We stayed because we were going to a wedding there. Was all lovely but breakfast is a complete rip off and our room was very small, However everyone was very friendly and it suited what we needed it for.

Good location close to river with bus routes to Kew, Ham and Kingston close by. Double room on the small side but very clean and comfortable. On our first morning we were charged £16.95 for breakfast as we were not informed correctly at reception that we would need to purchase vouchers for the £12 rate. The difference was refunded however.

Good hotel, great gym / pool, great location

The hotel is well located and the spa we had free access to was very nice, but the room itself (number 150) was a disappointment… small, ground floor, old carpet, terrible view to a backyard. I was expecting more from a 4 stars.

The hotel is a bit tired, but the location is fantastic and the rooms are comfortable and quiet.

Disappointed no view over park and river, but room comfortable and clean if a little small. Reception always pretty busy - not exactly low cost and had to pay extra for car park, but all in all enjoyed short stay & would recommend.

The hotel is in a great location, very close to Richmond, the river and the Richmond Park. First impressions of the hotel were 1) surprise that you are required to pay £5 per day for parking (I think this should be included, as a matter of course, in a 4 star hotel) and 2) once inside that, whilst the hotel was clean, it was a bit tired and needs a […] refurbish. Check-in was fine and the staff friendly. Our room was small, but functional. It was however extremely cold. No heating and a cold draft was blowing in through the window frame. I telephoned reception and asked to move - I was initially told that there were no other available rooms in the hotel and that the best they could do is provide a heater and give us a complimentary breakfast. Far from ideal but, on the basis there were no other rooms, it had to be acceptable. A hotel employee visited the room to check the radiator. He diagnosed the problem and left again. Within two minutes, the manager telephoned and offered an upgrade to a suite. Obviously very nice but surprising, given there were no other rooms!! (I wondered if they hadn't believed me when I telephoned). All in all, the was hotel acceptable. The upgrade and free breakfast were pleasant surprises. Would we stay here again? Unlikely. There are plenty of other hotels to try in this area. Devamı

This hotel was fantastic. Comfortable with all mod-cons but a charming olde-worlde feel to it. A great fusion of new and old set within the stunning Richmond-Upon-Thames. The view from the hotel is extraordinary and it's not a million miles from the train station to connect with central London. The night life in Richmond isn't too bad either! Richmond ligger lidt udenfor centrum af London. Men dog indenfor underground nettet. Hotellet har fine værelse med al ønskelig komfort til en rimeligt pris. Personalet er dejlige mennesker med en fin sans for humor. Så jeg vil meget gerne anbefale det hotel til andre.

Hotellet ligger smukt i det rige Richmond , tæt på byen der har alle butikker og den kæmpe Richmond park , så hvis man vil se et andet London elers kombinere en halv times transport til London og nyde fred og ro om aftenen er det perfekt , så skal hotellet have højere karakter, er under renovering pt

Hotellet låg i mycket fina kvarter en bit utanför. Utsikt över böljande landskap med Themsen i dalen nedanför. Vi var i London för att shoppa med tonåringarna och då låg detta hotell lite för långt bort. Promenad ca 15 minuter och sedan tunnelbana i 40 minuter.

Lungt läge, nära till Svenska skolan i London, (Richmond). Ca 10 min promenad till Richmond centrum. Något små rum. Väldigt lugnt läge och en fantastisk pool/relaxavd. (glöm inte badkläder) Mycket park och grön omgivning.

Venligt personale, rummeligt værelse med fin, stor seng. Udsigt over Themsen. Dejlig morgenmad. Dog ikke inkluderet i prisen.
