Comfort Suites At Tucson Mall - Tucson

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel about a year ago and decided to stay here again. Our child is a student at U of A and this hotel is not too far from the University. The hotel staff is always professional and courteous. The room was clean and comfortable, with the exception of the guests above us stomping around the second and third nights the hotel […] is quiet. The hot breakfast is a plus, as is the free wi-fi. There are plenty of restaurants in the area and of course the Tucson Mall is just up the street. There are also many other stores in the immediate area which is really convenient. We look forward to staying here again. Devamı

Check in was fine, the room is dated, but the location worked out great for our conference. Was very disappointed with the front desk person, asked for a wake up call and never received it. Check in was simple and easy. Desk staff was very friendly. This is not a high end hotel, but was clean and well maintained. The location is great! Near good shopping and in a well lit neighborhood. Not next to the freeway or highway and all that that can bring with it. Smallest Pillows that I have ever seen in a hotel! Shower dribbled water out, similar to can with a hole in the bottom hung in a tree! Unable to control room temp. Stuffy It was conveniently located. Overall we were disappointed for the price.

The service at this hotel was excellent, and better then some of the top resorts in Tucson. Shortly after we checked into the room we received a call from the front desk asking if everything was ok. That was a nice surprise. The most outstanding service was after our stay. Mt daughter left a pillow pet in the room after we checked out. I called back […] a few hours later to see if they had found it. Not only did they have it, but they had washed it for us! I was so impressed by their thoughtfulness. The hotel is currently under renovations, so I think that when they get done it will look nicer. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. Overall, this is a simple and clean hotel which works for an overnight shopping trip. I love that it is right across from Tucson Mall, and there is plenty of dining around the area. Devamı

Comfortable bed and a clean room were the highlights of my stay. The front desk service was good. The hotel is currently under construction, which I was unaware of at the time of booking. The surrounding neighborhood is very safe and the hotel is extremely close to the mall with a variety of restaurants to choose from.

The mattress on the bed was one of the worst I have ever tried to sleep on, at times I was trying to sleep on the settee even because of it! Where did they get those undersized, lumpy pillows? It was non-smoking but there was a stale tobacco smell in the room - the staff seemed to be taking regular smoking breaks outside. The content of the breakfast […] was above average, but I could not get anything toasted because the toaster kept tripping a breaker - maintenance seemed incapable of being able to fix it. The hallway carpet was filthy. The TV channel guide was irrelevant. The luggage carts were falling apart - when you could find one. Light bulbls were missing or burnt out in the room. The location was great, near the Tucson Mall shops and lots of restaurants. BONUS - NEXT TO WATSON CHEVROLET WHERE I WAS ABLE TO CHARGE UP MY CHEVY VOLT HYBRID E.V. The hotel was within walking distance from the Tucson Mall. Lots of things within walking distance. Great breakfast with eggs, meat, yogurt, various breads, cereals, fruit juices, coffee, waffles, hard boiled eggs, etc. Free newspapers, high definition flat screen TVs and great staff. Pet friendly!! the pool was nice as was the exercise facility.

Okay, just okay. Price is right, staff were very good, pleasant and helpful, best part of the stay. Hotel is showing some wear, corridor carpets show heavy traffic, Rooms slightly cramped but clean and good layout. Continental breakfest is better than expected in variety. Worth the price, good value.

Pretty nosiy hotel. You could really hear the people upstairs walking around. It was pretty hard to stablize the air tempature in the room. We had someone try to get into the room in the middle of the night. Someone also let the water run over in their bathtub causing quite a mess...

I needed a hotel close to Tucson Heart Hospital and this was perfect. The bed was comfortable, the room very clean, and it was easy access to all I needed.

Our stay at Comfort Suites At Tucson Mall was most relaxing the staff there was very helpfull, with phone calls and when our son locked himself in the toilet they were very quick to help. Comfort Suites at tucson Mall was convenient to people we were visiting -- we were surprise to find great quality of this chain hotel. Excellent service, clean rooms, good quality towels and bedding, quiet, and reasonable continental breakfast. And the pool and hottub were great. I'd definitely stay here on my next visit.

From the exterior I was at first not very happy. It was clean but just not impressive. But upon entering everything was clean and updated. The room was good size and very clean and renovated with a microwave, refrigerator and flat panel TV. Very quiet and comfortable beds. So it was not a five star hotel but it is not meant to be one. When we walked in to the lobby, the first thing we noticed was a smell of smoke and stained carpets. When we got to our non-smoking room, there was also a strong smoke smell and it was a bit dingy (brown walls and decorations may have played a factor in the dingy look). When I went back downstairs to ask for a new room, the manager and staff were apologetic […] and found a new room quickly, but were also quick to blame the housekeeping staff, saying that one of them had probably just had a smoke outside and brought the smell back in with them both in the lobby and the room itself. I didn't buy that and told them it seemed more that the carpets, upholstery, and perhaps bedspread needed to get a deeper cleaning. The next room they gave us was better. I've had much better experiences with Comfort Suites, so this is disappointing. I would recommended that you try other hotels in the area before this one. Devamı

We were the last occupants to check in the evening we stayed on this property. The minute I opened the door a stale smoky smell overwhelmed both of us, we didn't even walk into the room. When we went downstairs there were no other rooms available. That room STUNK! My understanding is that was formerly a smoking room. I don't think any effort had ever […] been made to remove the odor when it was switched to non-smoking room. It was a hot night and when we turned on the air, it just made the stench even worse. We were asked to sign a doc at check-in stating we would pay a $150 cleaning fee if we smoked in the room...what?!?!?!?!? Devamı

Nice hotel in a great area. Tons of shopping and restaurants around. Hotel was clean and comfortable. My suite was a large room with a sofa, not two separate rooms. Simple breakfast was convenient. Have stayed here before and will stay again. Oh, the air conditioner worked great! A big plus in August!

the rooms were adequate, however the cleanliness left much to be desired. we had two rooms for our family, our room was not properly stocked, not enough shampoo, etc, and no facial tissues. Both rooms had residual mold in the shower area and both had the shower curtain rods hanging at a downward angle rather than level. the biggest complaint was that […] in my daughter's room, there were animal feces left on the floor from the previous tennant. While the hotel could certainly use some updating, for a 2-star accommodation, we were more than satisfied with our stay. The breakfast with cheese omelets, sausages, and a waffle makerwas more substantial than many stale pastry set-ups. The bed was comfortable, and there is free wi-fi access. We were in Tuscon for the NCAA basketball tourney. The front desk clerk was no help at all regarding how to get to the campus, places to eat or even any available public transportation. Maybe they don't think it is necessary in the day and age when everyone can use aps on their phones, but some of us like the personal touch. We ended up eating at chain […] restaurants in the area, but would have gone to a locally owned place if it had been recommended. Hotel staff was very friendly, especially the lady at the breakfast area! Breakfast was very good and a good selection. Hotel area was in a good neighborhood, we felt safe there. The hotel was quiet and clean.

Hotel was in good location near mall and plenty of restaurants. It is located a few miles north of downtown area, so it was a bit of a drive, but nontheless, driving in Tucson is always slow.
