We had a great stay, the rooms and hotel was very clean. the staff was helpful and friendly. One of the best hotels we have stayed in. Next time we stay in Daytona it will be at the Tropical Winds.

The staff was very nice and accommodating to my needs. The room itself was decent and the bed was alright . We weren't there vey long but I found it odd that the light switches didn't work in the room. Instead hey ha lamps all around the room that was used at the lighting. It was jut odd to me. We arrived about 3 hours early and were allowed to check in. Had time to visit the boardwalk before retiring. Staff was very friendly,room was clean. Would stay again.

great stay but dryer was notr working and we found a lot of bugs dead and alive in room and in drawers in kitchen let front desk know other than that had a great time

visited key west for a week and stopped by Daytona for 2 nights on the way home, loved this hotel. we were on the 4th floor and our balcony over looked the ocean. very clean rooms, nice beds and rooms and very big and have a couch and all the items you need. Wifi worked great, only thing i really noticed was the water pressure was pretty low in the […] shower other than that it seemed like the best value we've had for a nice hotel and exp being right on the ocean! .. Lastly their restaurant is open 7am to 2pm it is excellent ! but they only take cash. Devamı

We had a comfortable room, indoor and outdoor pools, a breakfast/lunch cafe on site. Wifi somewhat spotty, but available throughout the building and pool area. Super friendly staff, close to everything, we'll be back next year.

my entire family enjoyed a wonderful easter weekend at this hotel. it was close to the beach and very family friendly. we really liked the staff, they were there if we needed them but didnt bother us. everything was clean and spotless. we are looking forward to our next weekend there. the kids ages 17 to 6 years old has been telling everybody about […] the heated pool, short walk to the beach, balcony and cooking our own meals in the room. if you are looking for a family friendly place to stay, you wont be disappointed with your stay! have a great day reader!! This was a wonderful hotel...the staff was great very friendly...Gwene at the front desk was wonderful she went above her duties to help us...my grand daughter loved her...we will not go anywhere else in daytona....thank u for a wondeful trip

This is the classic mid-hotel. Good oceanfront view right of the beach . The guys at the poolside cafe are FANTASTIC !!!! Good affordable food $$$. Front desks can be a little more friendly but they are ok. Good size rooms but the carpet looked old ( too dark ). Clean pool, flat screen TVs :-) , toilets need some works. Away from the crow but close […] enough to all the fun. Broad walk is 1.5 mil away. Overall good for the price !!! Oceanview mean side view of the ocean .. I would stay here again . Devamı

An older hotel that has done nice room upgrades (ie granite counters, new lighting etc). Very clean and the staff goes out of their way to be helpful and make sure your stay is comfortable.

Very friendly staff. Good location within walking distance to Main Street. Very accomodating for Bike Week visitors. Cleanliness was OK and better than expected so I was happy. Only gripe was that the toilet is one of the smallest I have ever seen in a long time.

I stayed here with a buddy the 1st weekend of bike week '12. No frills but nice. Kitchen in room was helpful. Didn't get a chance to use indoor or outdoor pool or Internet. Loved these characters! From the ladies at the front desk, to the family owned pool side Cafe! Everyone was so much fun! We went for bike week and will continue to stay there every year! Clean, close, and beachfront ...it gets no better!

My only complaint, and it is a big one, is that we were given a smoking room when we specifically requested a non-smoking room. We were told that our floor was a smoking floor for some of the rooms but for our room. The hall way for our floor smelled terrible. Our room was not that bad but there were ash trays in the dresser so clearly this was a smoking […] room. We were told that the hotel was sold out and we could not get a different room for the first night. A new room for the second night was made available to us. We spent our first 2 nights in Daytona at the Tropical Winds Ocean Front. What a pleasant place to stay. Our room was very clean, and our view of the Atlantic was breath taking. The pool area is very nice too and how awesome that the pool is steps from the ocean. We felt very comfortable and safe here and that was nice. Room was nice nice view, the hotel was a little older but nice had two pools and right on the beach. Room was clean and well kept.

We had a good time at Tropical winds hotel. It is well kept and I love the waterfront view.

Very satisfied with the hotel and the staff was most helpful. This is an older hotel, but in very good shape for its age. Our room had a view of the beach, but not directly out to the front of our hotel. The front desk suggested we upgrade for an additional $10. per night, but we declined. I am happy we did, as this would not have been that much better […] view. Very nice hotel to stay at.

I've stayed here several times. If you're looking for oceanfront, reasonable rates, clean, comfortable, non-pretentious, friendly, fine service, on-site cafe.....this this the place!

Room was nice and clean. Liked that the room had a small stove, microwave and refrigerator. Wifi coverage was very good. Only complaints were that the a/c made a lot of noise when it was on, and cell phone coverage was terrible. Would definitely stay there again.

fair price, the coumputer needs to be relocated to a semi private spot,the conf. room is always full of guest. we would go back

We were told that pet charges were $10.00 per day and where charged $20.00 per day which was a surprise to us as we would have booked with another hotel/motel in the immediate area on ocean side which charges $10.00 per day. Nice view. But as far as hotels go, you get what you pay for. An inexpensive way to have a beautiful ocean view.

Great location on the beach. Good restaurants right up the road. Not near the tourist traps, which is good.

The hotel staff was very professional, polite and willing to assist you. The landmark was impeccable and I definitely recommend this hotel.

King bed, ocean view, right on the beach,very large room. Front desk took care of reservation problem.

We stayed on the 8th floor, great view of beach and city lights. Room was very comfy. A 15 minute walk along the beach and your on Daytonas main street and boardwalk. We walked to main street new years eve, partied all night and walked the beach back to the hotel in 15 minutes. Older hotel but well maintained

I was especially pleased with the peaceful and quiet environment. I was on the sixth floor of the hotel. My "do-not-disturb" sign was honored and the cleaners were respectful. I will choose the hotel again in the future.

The hotel is a bit older and showing some signs of wear (the elevators were slower and a little dirty) and the air conditioning vent in our room smelled like mildew. The bed wasn't very comfortable. But, overall, the rooms were clean and we had a great view of the ocean. Make sure to book an ocean front room instead of ocean view otherwise you'll be […] put in a room with a side balcony. The staff was always friendly. We upgraded to the penthouse suite and it was great except the bathroom was really small and the bedroom was back in a corner and there was no air circulation. Devamı

Proximity to the beach was it's only value...other than that, service, Internet, eating, etc didn't exist.

If having access to High Speed Internet is important to you then do Not stay at this hotel?
