NOT TO MANY 5 STAR HOTLS IN POSITANO. NOT A BAD STAY. NO MATTER WHERE YOU STAY, YOU WILL WALK A LOT. THIS IS A SMALL BOUTIQUE HOTEL WITH NO BELLS AND WHISTLES. HOTEL HAD GREAT VIEWS AND SEEMED SHORT STAFFED. RESTAURANT NOT THE BEST. I WOULD STAY AGIAN. POSITANO IS OLD, SO NO RESORT SPA TYPE ACCOMODATIONS. QUAINT HOTEL, WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN.

This was a very charming hotel. The staff could not have been more friendly, and went out of their way to accomodate us. The views were fabulous, from our room, the restaurant and the pool area. The location was also great because we were high enough in the town to have amazing views, but low enough to walk everywhere, including the beach and center […] of town. no better place to stay in Positano surely. Excellent hotel with great service and exceptional staff. Highly recommend.

Positano is a lovely place to visit. The Posa Posa is a really nice classical italian hotel. All staff a re very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The room was lovely and the view fro the balcony is delightful. Would definitely go back there.

We loved the Posa Posa. Nice, friendly staff. Beautiful view and roomy for Italian standards. The bathroom had a funky smell perhaps from the cleaning supplies. But overall a great experience in the most beautiful city in Italy. Nice breakfast.

We rolled into town after a full day's drive (our first ever driving in Italy)... in the dark. (If you've not yet been to this area, you are in for a thrill... "windy road with beautiful views" is un understatement. If you've not driven in Italy... well suffice it to say, it's thrilling:-0) And little did we realize it... but, by the time you wind down […] to the town... it is one-way too. So we drive on past, a now collected line of cars pushing us from behind... and then realize we are screwed. Did I mention, we don't speak any Italian?? I find a spot to pullover and call the hotel. I get the nicest lady possible on the other end, who bends over backwards to figure out where I am, and before you know it she has sent a guy on foot to find us and drive the car to wherever they keep them... he's even going to bring the bags to the room... I just hand my keys (and every problem that could have been) to him and we stroll back thru the most gorgeous village, under unbrella in the now light rain... with all the twinkling lights, it's turned romantic, like something you'd see in a movie.. I could swear the music was going to queue up next. When we get to the hotel we are greeted with smiles and laughter. Then comes the painless checkin and personal tour of the hotel, ending in our room. The charm and care with which we were dealt is hard to get into words. This place is gorgeous. This hotel is wonderfully situated at the top edge of it (and when you stroll thru town, "down hill" is definitely the way you're going to want to do it; don't worry, there's a bus that loops around to get you back). Very pleasant stay in Positano. Loved the area, very convenient. Well priced and extremely courteous and helpful staff. Good breakfast also.

I go every few years back to Positano because it's so beautiful and I usually stay somewhere different depending on my budget. Of all the 4* plus hotels I've stayed in in Positano, I felt this was the best value for money and one of the easiest to get to due to the local bus stopping at the door and the lack of steps. The terrace makes the hotel, there […] are a lot of other higher priced hotels near the Grande with no large outdoor areas other than your own balcony, so this was a treat, perfect breakfast spot. The hotel is located on the second 'finger' of Positano, (not so central) so the view of Positano is of the back of the first finger, not the beach, and church, but that said this is a view that carries on all the way to Praiano. The decor is typical Amalfi coast style, painted tiles and slightly baroque, all clean crisp linen with plenty of common areas for sitting and reading and our room, was plenty big enough (also a rarity in this area). Like everywhere in this area (most of s.Italy) including most of the 'luxury' hotels, the bathroom is a little dated by urban standards and would benefit from being pulled out and replaced with something much simpler and easier to look after but everything works. The staff here are lovely, very helpful, very professional, (many thanks to Luciana for taking care of us) and dinner here was very relaxing with live music in the background. In short, I've paid almost twice as much before in this area for 4* hotels that are more central but of lesser quality than the Posa Posa. I've also paid a lot more and got a lot less too. This is a small hotel with a great staff who are eager to please and help in any way. I did not book an ocean front room, and I think it would have been worth it to pay the additional money. There are some great views. Be prepared to walk up and down a lot of steep hills, but there is a bus stop adjacent to the hotel. The hotel is filled with lots of […] charning antique furniture, but not real up to date on electronics like TVs if that is important. Our TV was an old model with a VHS player. Hotel Posa Posa is an amazing hotel! The staff was extremely helpful and personable and the quiet location on the cliff had a great view and was very romantic!

Hotel was a very enjoyable experience. It has a beautiful view overlooking the ocean and convenient bus into town. Most impressive was the friendliness of the staff. While checking in, having the excellent breakfast on the veranda overlooking the town or on the veranda at night having a drink, the staff was always there to talk to you, answer any questions […] about the area, and basically make sure you were enjoying yourself. Love, love, loved Positano, but the hotel was overpriced with complete lack of comfort.

The hotel personnel were wonderful and very accommodating. The room was comfortable although we are used to more cushy bedding...it was fine by European standards. The hotel is at the bus stop which made transportation very easy and afforded us the lovely views. Let me start by saying Hotel Posa Posa was lovely. I have stayed and some luxurious hotels so I am a tough critic. It is a solid 3 star hotel. It has most of all that you need and an AMAZING view from the room. Wifi was a little sketchy and the room was not the best decor but it was charming. Positano is carved into a mountainside so once you go do […] the main road, getting back up is a feat if you don't wait for the crowded bus that doesn't run often enough. So the hotel is near the top, therefore there are many many steps or steep roads or to climb. BUT that is much of how the area is set up anyway (think stairmaster on steriods). I would have liked to be closer to the middle of the mountain in possible. With all that said Positano is absolutely beautiful and the people are wonderful. The staff at Posa Posa were warm, friendly, and accommodating. All in all I would recommend the hotel within its price point. Devamı

this hotel is situated close to restaurants and within walking distance to the beach. the rooms are very nice and clean, and the view from our room (and the restaurant, too) were amazing. the staff was friendly and accommodating. also, the breakfast (and the cappuccinos) were delish! Rooms very nice but not plush. Staff very attentive. Elevators cumbersome. We had a leak from the AC unit which was unpleasant. Breakfast good. Parking is down the street, a little inconvenient.

The Hotel Posa Posa was fabulous! The rooms have great views over Positano and out to the ocean. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was delicious and the dining area also has spectacular views. I would definitely recommend this hotel and can't wait to go back!

Great location, wonderful view, nice room, very good food in the restaurant. One concern....the check for dinner should say that it includes gratuity. Ours didn't, but the hotel management did make us happy by taking off the gratuity charge since we had paid a tip by cash. Also, real glasses should be provided in room, not plastic!!! Minor issues.

This hotel is a bit out of the way, but still a nice walk in & out of town. Nice eats in this area & some shops. The staff was very helpful, the waiter in the resraunt, Stefano, is a great guy. Take the hike Sentiero degli dei (walk/trail of the gods)from Positano to Priano, the hotel will help get you to the best starting point, but hike down to the […] convent instead of continuing. Gostei muito do hotel, tivemos uma acolhida muito boa pelo staff do hotel os quais sempre foram muitos atenciosos.

I stayed one week at this charming hotel. The room had a fantastic view over the sea. Although the hotel is situated in the upper part of the town, it is a cosy walk back to the hotel (about 15 mn). Positano est bien l'endroit où la vue est forcément belle! reste que l'accueil est appréciable, le restaurant semble être très bien mais attention il est fermé au printemps (malgré cela c'est une bonne période car peu d'affluence et généralement belle météo Vous pourrez petit-déjeuner sur une terrasse en haut de l'Hôtel avec une vue sublime...
