Have stayed here before due to the convenient location right off the interstate and across from a good eatery, but it has slipped since last time. The continental breakfast was awful. The heater came on every 10 minutes waking us throughout the night. Other than that it was acceptable. Hotel staff very friendly and informative.

Room was very clean. Very easy checkin- checkout. Quiet. Complimentary breakfast and 24 hours free coffee/tea was a nice bonus.

Nothing you wouldn't expect, and I mean that in a very good way! Small hotel, but nice rooms, pretty quiet and well run. I'd stay there again and, in fact, probably will the next time I need to stay in that area.

Hotel was close to our destination, however, the room was musty and not real clean feeling. Also front desk staff seemed to be bothered when approached.

Very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel. The complimentary breakfast was served very pleasingly and much attention paid to keeping the food plentiful at correct temperature. Very nice, showed much attention to detail. Thank you.

The hotel is very clean, the person at the desk was very friendly and helpful when I realized I had forgotten my toothpaste! The general condition of the hotel is excellent, you don't see wall paper hanging, everything is painted and clean. There is one thing that I loved about this little hotel: the walls are thick. You won't hear anybody from the […] other rooms, won't hear the radio, TVs etc. That was very good, considering that the hotel was packed and there were many kids around. Also, the breakfast was nice, abundant and with many choices. One thing that I liked and may seems silly, was the smell. It wasn't heavy with chemical products, nor smelling dirt nor mold. Given my migraines, it was a relieve when I entered and there wasn't that characteristic fruity smell. I really appreciate that!! I knew that I wasn't going to spend my days in a hotel enjoying the pool, lobby, and other amenities. I needed a place to stay at night while visiting friend in the area. I was not eager to stay in "another one of these chains" that seem to dominate the landscape, and I was very pleasantly surprised by it. I like a firm mattress, and my bed was perfect. Horrible old springy concave beds with cockroaches. Problem is in this area there are no good hotel options. So you might as well just stay in cheapest place.

This motel has many amenities in the room including a refrigerator with freezer, a microwave, coffee maker, and safe. The room was very nicely decorated and very clean. My wife and I really enjoyed our 2 nights' stay here. It was very clean and all the services we needed were above average. The value was perhaps the best part, since we booked through hotel.com at a discount. This Inn is close to our business dealings around Madison, Conn, and the access to the shoreline in the general area is a big plus. We didn't […] use the breakfast offered so cannot pass judgement on that, due to time constraints, but we received good nights' of sleep and felt safe and secure here. I was surprised at the amenities and staff at this hotel. The staff were always available and eager to help. The Continental breakfast was varied and tasty. Coffee and OJ were available all day. The coffee was the best I've ever had in a hotel of this type, and was maintained fresh and hot all day. It was unexpectedly quiet, possibly because it is "off […] season." My only caveat is that there are room safes available, and you will be billed for it even if you don't use it. Ask the desk to remove that cost when you check out.
