We stayed overnight to catch an early flight. I love the hotel, the service was excellent. Staff was very friendly. Our room was clean. We will stay here again next time we travel to Vancouver.

This is my go-to hotel for a cheap and easy stay in Vancouver. Not fancy, but sufficient for my needs. Staff is nice and location is great if you are hankering for a some chinese food.

Our room was small by North American standards, but it was clean and comfortable. The hotel has a free shuttle service to/from the airport, and it's also a short drive or SkyTrain away. Restaurants and other amenities are nearby.

February 24th / 2012 - My wife and I found that the rates were fair and the hotel was clean and well organized.The night was going great until we went to bed.It was a VERY windy night and it started howling through the A/C very late at night.And because we were in a room on the 5th floor the cold howling wind started coming into the room I think harder […] than the people on the 1st floor thought it might be.My wife and I woke up about 2:00am and found we were frozen.I am not a person to complain much so I tried to stuff items such as clothes and Suitcases and other items in front of the super high air flow coming through the A/C. It did not work very well.Being too tired and frustrated to call anybody or try to find the heater we finally just huddled under the blankets and tried to stay warm and go to sleep because we were exhausted from the days activities and had to get up early. I am not sure how often this happens but my suggestion is to have a very simple cover placed over the inside part of the A/C so you can stop the wind flow from coming in when it is not needed. Sorry to complain but that made that night and the next day of travel back to Winnipeg very uncomfortable. Devamı

Hi! Everything was very quiet and comfy. The staff was very friendly and efficient at processing our request. The fresh fruit was appreciated at the front desk as well as the complementary snack basket in our room. Our flight arrived at midnight from Honolulu, so we were ready for supper! We were pleased to find that Moxie's was downstairs and open […] til 2am. The room was very comfortable and it's well priced. The only suggestion we have is regarding the lay out. It didn't allow for opening suitcases, unless you use the bed. We had 2 suitcases and 2 carry-on. Had to lay the suitcases in the path of the doorway to open them up and access our things. Hotel was affordable, clean and the bed comfortable (not lumpy) the front desk was helpful with any inquiries. Was close to skytrain or bus if needed. The shuttle to the airport was included with the room and runs at a variety of times.

stayed there overnight on the way to a vacation. Had airport transport available, friendly and helpful staff, and very clean bedroom. I have stayed in this hotel before and have reccommended it to others.

Enjoyed the stay. Staff was very helpful, airport transit was convenient, and the room was very clean. This is the 3rd time staying there. I have recommended it to a family member.

Loved the free shuttle to the airport and the free parking, and the staff were very friendly, however our room smelled of urine and was in major need of updating.

The Sandman Airport hotel is perfect for me, and any overnight traveller I'm sure. The hotel is very clean and so convienient to the airport with a good shuttle service, I will stay there again next trip. The parking is also a plus.

The place was comfortable and close to the airport. Small room, not too many amenities, but enough to spent a single night for a stop-over en-route.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The front desk attandant was fantastic very efficient and friendly even thought to have housekeeping bring us extra towels to our room. The housekeeping staff was very friendly and detailed in their cleaning and we found the room to be extreamly neat and well maintained. The location was convienent […] a short drive to amenities and a great resturant in the lower level of the hotel. the pool and hottub area was clean and well maintained. THe hotel staff were extremely helpfull on checkin as the flight was late arriving it was after midnight by the time we got to hotel. While checkin was fast he also advised us we could sleep in and not checkout till 1300 the next day if we wished.

We had an overnight layover, so we stayed at the Sandman. Everything was great. There were restaurants and a Timmy's within walking distance. The shuttle runs on a perfect schedule.

The Sandman is so convenient to the airport, the parking is great, and the shuttle drivers both leaving and arriving went beyond for us and others. The room was confortable and the restaurants nearby filled the need. The airline lost my bag and the desk had a replacement toothbrush. We have stayed at the Sandman Vancouver Airport Hotel numerous times but will be staying somewhere else for the next couple of years. They are in the process of updating rooms and have a few completed but we will not take another chance of being stuck in an old room. Asked for an updated room at check-in but was given an old stinky smoking room instead. […] We really did like staying there as the Moxie's restaurant is on site and free airport shuttle was nice. I wouldn't stay here again; older rooms in need of updating. Noisy neighbors and the location isn't great. The saving grace for us was Moxy's - good food without having to go out of the hotel.

Excellent hotel with a very good restaurant and lounge. Will definitely stay there again.

We ha;ve previously stayed at the Accent Inn and once at the Travellodge but now, we'll book the Sandman as it was very nice, great shuttle service, rooms were awesome and we especially liked the window opening. I am a smoker and find some of other hotel rooms disgusting but the Sandman was not too bad at all.

Look, this is not the Ritz, but it is a good cheap, clean spot to stay. I got marooned in the Vancouver en route to Victoria due to ferry cancellations. This place was a good respite from the storm. It is 5 min from all the best Chinese places in BC, so I had a good time.

The room was extremely small - too much furniture for the available space. We were only there overnight so can't comment on the ammenities it provided. Advise guests to have the electronic bill with them - we booked a queen bed and on checking in, the hotel was going to provide us with 2 doubles. A perfect place to lay your head down on an overnight departure to another city. Great surroundings with a lot of choices for dining. I will be staying again!

Sandman was everything we needed. Shuttle Bus Service was wonderful for transfers to and from the airport. The hotel was close to the Train Station and Casino, Tim Hortons across the road for quick breakfasts, Moxies for Dinner, WOW the Spare Ribs to die for and melt in your mouth Steak. We chose this hotel because we had a 6.00am flight and the hotel had a shuttle service. Everything went to plan and we arrived at the airport in plenty of time for our flight.

We arrived at this hotel about midnight the person at the desk was bright and very helpful.Gave us good information about transport etc. We were very close to the airport, however the room was very quiet..We were checking out the next day, we were offered a 3pm checkout.However we decide to check out in the morning. They stored our luggage for us,while […] we went into the city. We were to get the shuttle bus to the airport to get the train into town. We were checking out when the shuttle arrived, the driver told me he would be back as he had to pick people up from the other Sandman hotel,while we were waitng outside the concierge came out to tell us that the shuttle bus ws full and that he had ordered a cab for us.They were so helpful Breakfast in the hotel was yummy. It was a short stay, just long enough to get a little sleep. Only thing missing was cont. breakfast.

I cannot access internet at all! For business trip, I don't recommend to stay in this hotel! If for leisure, that is ok.

we asked for a crib for our baby abd got nothing in our room although we were told at the reception that the crib is in the room; after a call to the front desk they brought a playpen - not a crib; bad, bad... after many hours of flying with a tired baby

location is excellent and service is very good. room service has quality food on the menu

The rooms are very small and hot the air conditioner would not keep up and was noisy. The ice and pop machine were out side the door to the room and were very loud. For the price we could have done a lot better. The first room was by the elevator and I asked to be moved so she put use in the same room one floor up by the elevator???? So then she put […] us put us in this room by the ice machine We gave up. I've booked hundreds of rooms through out the years and have only asked this once to be moved. Devamı
