Impiana Resort Patong - Kathu

Hotel is in excellent location. Right on the beach so you can escape the town if its not your thing.. Rooms are packed in so that there is not much of a view from any of them, and mine needed some minor maintenance. Pool is small but adequate. Service was very good.

We had a great stay at Impiana. The location is perfect because it was only one of two hotels directly on the beach. Patong was strange in that's at hotels were a block away, so if you want easy beach access stay here. We were upgraded to ocean view and it was fantastic. You can get exactly the same experience at the Patong Beach Hotel for half the price. I personally recommend renting one of the many villas in town because the hotels will charge you for every little thing.

..as opposed to the other side of the road then the Impiana is a great resort. No major problems, though the service at the pool is slow and seems disorganised. Lots of people looking busy ..but what are they actually all doing? Have read some reviews of poor air con..there is a knack to it..set the temp you want before turning it on..

Excellent location on Patong beach - there are only 3 hotels direct on the beach (without the need of crossing very busy beach road) - Impiana is one of them. When taking a sunbed at the pool you are just few steps away from the beach, just need to walk 10 meters. Busy Patong life is just steps away from hotel, but the hotel itself is quiet and exclusive. […] Nice pool area and hotel facilities. Rooms could use some refurbishment, but are kept very clean. Avoid rooms close to main road - noise/music from opposite bar/restaurant can be disturbing. Rooms behind The Bistro are quiet however, despite proximity of main road. Unfriendly front desk staff accusing we steel a bottle of Avian water on the day we checked out. She uses word like "Where is that Avian water? where did you put it?? Does anyone taught them to be more generous in speaking?

August weather in Phuket is kind of ify (height of Southwest Monsoon Season), but still managed to squeak some sun in 7 out of 9 days during most of the daytime hours. This hotel is in dire need of renovations. The spa and lobby are the nicest areas of the hotel. The bathrooms had draining issues. There was always water pooled around the ledge of the tub which attracted misquitoes. The rooms were like garden style rooms which meant that every time you opened and closed the doors misquitoes would enter. We had to constantly […] burn oil to keep the misquitoes from attacking us every night. The mattresses were rock hard. We requested a new room with a different mattress immediately. The second room's mattress was softer, but it was not comfortable. The rooms are ALWAYS hot because when you lock the door, the electricity shuts down. It took a very long time to cool the room. The other major issue is that this hotel is in on the main party strip in Phuket. That meant that we had to deal with booming bass until 1 am every morning. Several of the hotels in the area (including this one) set off fireworks from 8 pm until midnight. This hotel is for the spring break, party guests. It was not relaxing for a young, married couple. Hotel is situated just up from Bangla rd 5 -10 min walk so great for night life. Hotel is situated right on the beach front, so there is no road between the hotel and beach like in some cases. Great modern rooms all single level/ground access building (from what I saw). Absolutely perfect location and great hotel. We stayed for 11 nights leading up to our wedding. We were upgraded to a Pool / Ocean View room. The rooms had everything we needed. The saloon door toilet took some getting used to. We had a problem with AIr con in room but they offered to move us to another room very close with same facilities. The area […] is perfect for all ages if you are looking to be in the action. We generally went to the beach to sunbath every day and had to pay 100 THB per sun bed but it was worth it for the cheaper food and drink options which were delivered to your sun bed frequently. Entrance doors have one inch wholes in the bottom Get ready for the company of frogs, cockroaches and mosquitos right in your room. It smelled like there was a dead animal hidden in the bathroom. The location is the best feature of the hotel. The character and charisma is also very charming since it really has an open, beach feel. Very pleased with the stay. I recently stayed at the Impiana Resort Patong. I wanted a smaller hotel - and definitely one right on the beach. Bingo! It was a superb location and, although the beds were harder than I like, the staff soon softened these up with additional duvets. The only good thing about this hotel is location. The location is nice, on the beach, but everything else was very bad. We would NOT stay here again, unless they improved the hotel a lot. The quality of the hotel is substandard in general, and would be less than 2 stars in the US. Maybe it was a 4-star hotel in the 60-70's, but not today. Furniture […] everywhere is old, walls are dirty and moldy. We stayed at multiple 4-5 star hotels in Thailand on this trip, and this one is 3 stars below them. Our room smelled awful, the walls were dirty and had mold marks. There were visible signs of dry-wall fix-up on the ceiling. The shower had rust marks, and was very dirty. Shelves in the bathroom had dust like they were not dusted for 3 months. The bed in the room was AWFUL, you could feel the springs. We asked for extra bedding to make it softer, but it didn't help, so we couldn't sleep too much. The pillows were BAD, cheap foam. The buffet was really poor, very limited selection, and the salami and cheese were dripping with water. I'm not sure if it was because of the outside location, or just watery. The hot dishes were served in large ceramic bowls, which looked disgusting and were probably used since the 70s. A few dishes were kept cold in a little dirty fridge that looked 10-20 years old. The restaurant staff need better training. They were laughing around while customers had 2-3 dirty dishes in front of them, not like other hotels where they clear your plates. They looked disinterested and bored, not putting any effort into their work. When I asked for tea they brought me some warm water and tea bags. That's not a 4-star hotel. We had reservation for multiple days, but decided to leave after one night, because we couldn't have stayed in those conditions, and didn't want to ruin our vacation. The hotel manager and front desk were very understanding and helpful, and I would THANK them for helping us check out after one day without being charged for the remaining days. Devamı

The hotel was fantastic, it was the highlight of our Phuket trip. the shower sprayed every where and the bed mattress was a bit old other than that it was great! Breakfast, staff, cleanliness, food and service of the bar restaurant were awesome. and did i mention the location was perfect, we will definitely stay here again!

もともとSURINでのんびりが好きなのですが、たまにはと思い個々に３泊滞在しました。昼間はオンザビーチのホテルでプールとビーチの往復。夕方になって来たところで大型スーパーにお買い物、スタバでお茶（近くにあります）、お土産物屋さん散策。何をするにも非常に便利でした。是非。お子様連れもちろん、カップルでも楽しめると思います。

ショッピング、夜遊びにもとても便利な立地ながら、ホテルは落ち着きがあり、静かでのんびりとした空気が流れている。 ホテルマンについてはほとんどの人は親切で温かみがあるが、人に寄るといった印象。 帰国の日、朝4：30にホテルから空港に向かわないと行けなかったので、前日にフロントの女性にタクシーを呼んでもらうようお願いすると、呼ぶだけで1320バーツ（日本円で約3300円）かかると言われた。それに運賃はプラス。当日チェックアウトを済ませ、自力でタクシーを探そうとしていると、ホテルの警備員らしき男性がタクシーを手配してくれ、空港まで800バーツ（日本円約2000円）で飛ばしてくれた。

当时预订这家酒店是因为最靠近海边，事实也的确如此，比想象中好的连排villa，3分钟即可走到海边。且酒店保安严格控制非酒店客人不可步入，安全性非常好。只是bar在晚上8点就关了，如果可以晚点会更好。

外観は良いのですが、少し古かったです。お風呂に段差があり（バスタブに入るのに一段ありました）床が石とあって妊娠中の妻が滑らないかヒヤヒヤしました。(もちろん手すりなど無し)　お年寄りや小さな子供も危ないでしょうね。 掃除は行き届いてません。バスタブ内で使用する滑り止めマットの裏がカビだらけだったり。ほこりがたまってたり。 道路から近い部屋だったので、夜中も爆音トゥクトゥクの音が聞こえました。ビーチでの花火も夜中まで。その分、オンザビーチで近くに飲食店・マッサージ等がたくさんありますが。 朝食は美味しかったです。

立地はとてもよく、街歩きとリゾートライフを兼ね備えている。 プールは小さいが、パトンビーチ（プライベートビーチではない）に直接出られるので、 暑い時間帯はここでのんびりできた。 目の前にコンビニはあるし、夕食を食べに出かけるのも、マッサージに出るのも、買い物に行くにも便利。 ホテルサービスも不満はなし。 freeのパソコンが2台あり、帰国便のwebチェックインもここで出来た。 朝食は少々物足りない感じもするが、毎日変わるので飽きなかった。 部屋の広さも特に問題なく、騒音も気にならなかった。 難点は部屋の中が丸見えになってしまうこと。 ポーチがあり、大きな窓が入口となっているため カーテンを開けるとすぐ部屋が外から見えてしまう。 カーテンを閉めておかなければならず、ほかに窓がない […] ため 部屋でくつろぐには暗かった。 Devamı
