Ocean Spray Hotel - Miami Beach

No amenities, 1 slow elevator

Ok, so I booked this hotel, knowing exactly what to expect. The location is not bad and the hotel itself is not bad either. BUT I met 2 girls during the day and we decided to go back to the room for a couple hours. The girls left and I said goodbye. I came back to my hotel later that night to find my keys did not work. Then the 2 girls opened my hotel […] door and were in my hotel room at 6 a.m. When I asked how they got in the room, they told me that the front desk gave them 2 new keys without even knowing my name. All they gave the front desk was my hotel room #, that I know of. This obviously did not upset me at first until I checked out. The girls were smoking Hot but also smoking cigarettes, so when I checked out the hotel kept my deposit for a smoking cleaning fee! After I explained to them the situation they told me there is nothing they can do. I will never stay at this hotel again. If you decide to stay here please use your safe because anyone can get into your room. Devamı

This hotel is more like a motel. The location is great. The service sucks. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

When we checked in the front desk attendant made us put a $100 security deposit on our credit card. There was no notice of this ahead of time. The only elevator was slow and old. The room was tiny and had attempts of remodeling. The room was freezing when we arrived. Our attempt to heat the room was unsuccessful and a waste of time. Finally we notified […] the front desk about the temperature and they told us to come get a space heater. Seemed like no one except the front desk person spoke English. Housekeeping tried to kick us out our our room before check out time. We had to try to explain that we are not checking out yet. It was like 2 hours early. However, she did not understand much. Overall the location is too far north and I would stay closer to South Beach, more restaurants and things to do. Devamı

$30 parking and it's 2 blocks away. Nasty, It was so dirty I didn't even stay the whole visit. It smelt very bad also. I left the hotel early. I booked it for 2 nights and only stayed one. 1 elevator = took forever to get up and down. Lobby is open to the public since there is a subway in there .... and you get alot of odd people walking around […] there. BAD BAD service Charged extra for checking out early. The hotel is in a great spot right near the highway easy in and out of Miami and a block away from the beach. The hotel is old tho they need to update everything from the sheets to room equipment to lighting, the water pressure in the shower was terrible, but service was great room was done every time with towels etc.

It was not as expected . As it was written three start , we were really expecting 3 start facility .The room was really small and bed as well. The blanket was not good and we did not had internet in room but it was written in the site when we reserved.

The hotel was okay - location was its best asset. The lobby and rooms were smaller than expected. The consatnt smells from the Subway restaurant in the lobby were sometimes an annoyance. Overall, okay value for money

the bed and beddings were too old need to get new one.

It was a nice hotel that has a subway which was really convenient for the budget traveler. The parking situation was tough because its 25 buck to park a night or a lot less if you can find street parking. It was a block from the beach which made smoking Hooka very nice. Overall, I would recommend this place we had a fun time.

I just needed a place for one night so I could take my cruise in the morning. well the bed was terrible. and bring extra money becuase no one told me that I had to pay 100.00 in case of damages before I checked in.

Less than a 2 minute walk to beach. could see beach from our window (4th floor). Subway in hotel (price higher than others, but we paid for convenience and it was open until midnight). South beach was a five minute drive. closest public parking garage less than a minute walk, but $25/24 hours (fortunately, construction was scheduled so parking on the […] straight was available at no cost. Not bad for the price

While clean, this is an old hotel. The mattress needed replaced and the ceiling fixture light was dim. The chair's slipcover did not fit. The windows had been cleaned for the photo in the ad. Location is great, except parking costs an additional $26.00 a night at a city garage two blocks away. Found this is often the case in Miami Beach. we flew to FLL and drove to south beach really late on the start of our vacation. we wanted a really affordable hotel to stay in before checking into our splurge / luxury hotel the following day. we've stayed in 2 and 3 star hotels and this hotel definitely felt more like a 2 star hotel. there was a really old tv and boom box. very basic amenities. […] and the mattress was hardly welcoming. the decor was very plain and the room was far from romantic. so happy we only had to stay there one night! but if you're just looking for somewhere to sleep at night... no frills. no extras. this is the place for you. The day that I visited, the streets were undergoing construction, so it was very noisy. The room itself was comfortable, however the air condition was dripping water onto the carpet. Huge no no. Beautiful hotel, very nice staff, clean and near the beach. There is no free internet in rooms and no free parking. You can park 3 blocks away to public parking area, price was 12 dollars/24 hours. Rooms are not very big.

I stayed in this hotel during 2 days. Overall, it was good. Good value for money. The room are very clean and comfortable. The only thing I didn't like is the bad smell (because of the subway restaurant) in the entrance.

The hotel was decent, however not some place I would stay again. The worst part about the location was no reserved parking area for the hotel guests. You just have to find parking on the street and pay for meters or park in a garage a few blocks away.

The hotel was in a great location for the beach but the only restaurants that were close (within walking distance) was a Carraba's on the broadwalk and a Subway in the lobby of the hotel. I had come in for a conference at a nearby hotel and this was a great cheaper option. The subway in the lobby was quite convenient since I was trying to save money. Nice hotel, with easy access to the bus line to travel to the mall or down to south beach. Comfortable rooms but beds could have been better. Just needed two more towels in the bathroom. A great "funky" hotel and the staff was very accommodating nice to be close to boardwalk and great beach. Sorry elevator did not work as my mom had little problem with steps

This hotel was nice for what we paid for it. The bed wasn't that comfortable but it worked. Kind of in a scary part of town but, it's kind of like that everywhere in Miami beach.

Was what I expected. Not in the heart of the action, so had to drive and find parking everywhere I went. If you don't mind the driving, it's a decent room. Close to the beach. For me, I'd spend a few extra bucks and go further South.

My wife and I are traveler's we are out atleast once every month and we stay in a hotel everytime we are out, this hotel was a perfect choice for the price and location in miami beach. The only problem we had was that the hotel does not provide parking for their guest and they should offer a free continental breakfast, apart from these two fallbacks […] we enjoyed our stay. Devamı

The hotel and the room were clean. The pillow top mattress was too soft and needs replacing. It even bother my husband and he never has back pain. The hotel list having free breakfast and fruit. There wasn't any. It was very convenient to have Subway right in the hotel because this did provide away to get something to eat at a minimal cost. There is […] a parking garage only two blocks away at a cost of $25.00 a day other nearby hotels guests get $5 off but the Ocean Spray is not part of that group. Beds are really bad, when you sit down the bed sinks, real bad for the back. T V is hidden on a corner, bathroom shower has no divider so when you take a shower all the water goes out on the bathroom floor curtains are to short. They have a sub way delli, and room smells. And no parking. I think it is expensive to stay a night.

j'avais reservé une chambre avec un lit deux places a mon arrivé on a voulu nous donner une chambre avec deux lit separé j'ai du forcement raler pour avoir un lit 2 places que j'ai obtenue!!! sinon la chambre correct mais il fait vraiment froid avec leurs clim a fond

Rantalomaa ajatellen Ocean Spray on ihan asiallinen perushotelli. Ranta on lähellä, mutta ravintola-alueet ovat vähän pidemmän kävelymatkan päässä. Yleiset tilat ja hatarat ovet käytävään kaipaisivat kohennusta.

Die Preis/Leistung ist OK für Miami Beach, man bekommt ein anständiges Zimmer (ausser wenn HighSaison ist ! WMC und/oder SpringBreak dann explodieren die Preise) Man befindet sich in einem ältern 2-3* Hotel (nach USA-Standart) halt nicht wie in Europa oder gar in Asien. (dort gibt es mehr für's Geld) Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. TOP […] ist ! dass man per Bus an den Flughafen kommt innert 20-30 Min (mit der Linie 150, Haltestelle 100m entfernt ) für gerade mal 2-3 Dollar und keinen Taxi nehmen "muss" für 35-50 Dollar pro Weg. im grossen und ganz war ich zufrieden, habe ja auch keine ***** gebucht, nur zum schalfen und duschen ;-) brauchte ich nicht mehr. En el lobby hay un subway, x lo tanto alrededor del 4to dia el olor ya no se soporta. El servicio de limpieza grita x los pasillos todas las mañanas desde temprano, No tiene parking y eso en miami implica varios dolares mas x noche

proximité plage, pas loin du port et de l'aéroport petite vente de salades et viennoiseries sur place (heureusement y'a rien autour) pc + internet gratuit dans le hall
