Roma Park - Roma

Hotel is recently refurbished, rooms are very nice, they even had a kitchen block in the room. Position is a bit decentral, even though the walking distance to the subway is about 1 km and in 15 minutes You are on the cental station. The Quality / price ratio was very good, the hotel is a real 4 stars....

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel in the last four years. Well maintained property, professional, courteous staff. Ten minute walk to the metro. Good restaurants near the metro and one really good family owned trattoria close to the hotel.

The ad promised english speaking attendants, not when I check in though. Also our key was broken and really didn't have the feel of a 4 star hotel as advertised. All and all not too bad though, and no real problems or issues with the stay.

This was the worst hotel experience that I've ever had. The hotel is not near anything and is a walk from public transit through a neighborhood you don't want to be in after dark. The room was dirty, carpets, sheets, and mildew or mold in the bathroom. Also, the AC does not do anything which is a significant problem in the summer. The staff were extremely […] rude. Halfway through our stay they added all kinds of extra charges not stated upfront. When I tried to understand the reasons for the charges, the manager stated that I didn't need to, I just needed to pay them now. He yelled at us and threatened to call the police if we did not pay immediately. He said that we had been trying to dodge them by using the outdoor stairway which was for "emergencies." However, it was not marked so, we only used it when propped open by the cleaning staff (everyday), and went up the normal stairwell just as much (thereby going past them). All told, we ended up paying nearly TWICE as much for the hotel than we paid initially, so if you think this might be a deal on a 4star in Rome, don't count on it. It's not nearly 4star quality and they might intimidate you into paying a lot more. Look elsewhere. This hotel almost ruined our Rome experience. Devamı

Don't stay here in the summer time! The "A/C" units do not blow out cold air. We asked the desk clerk to have it fixed after sweating with the window open on our first night. Once we returned for the evening and inquired about it, he was very surly, saying it worked fine. When we inquired further, he snapped at us saying his friend went up and said […] nothing, so it's fine! It wasn't. He was working 14 July daytime, if that helps the hotel out. It was a shame because the gal and guy that worked the 13th day/night shift were extremely helpful and pleasant. But back to the room, one of the rollers for the shower doors was busted off, so you had to pry the bottom corner of it to get a good seal. Breakfast was served on the roof, where they had a large tent covering the dining area, which made for another warm experience due to the lack of A/C. The staff didn't do a very good job of restocking food and we had to pry them away from chatting amongst themselves to help us out. The location wasn't too bad. Nice and clean rooms Friendly and helpfull staff. enjoyed two nights with an 18 person group for the six Nations Rugby.

Just a few quick points. 1. Hotels in europe get their stars via number of key amenities. Even a flea infested rat hole would rank 4 stars if it has a safe, bidet, and a refrigerator. This hotel is between a 2 and 3 star by American standards (and actually a halfway descent 2.5 star). 2. If you want to overlook the garden (acutally old farm fields left […] to reforest) book early 3. The back rooms overlook a noisey all night road, the road in front has the view and the road is basically quiet at night. 3. Breakfast is basic continental with scrambled eggs and bacon thrown in. 4. If you want a Italian working class nieghborhood experiance this is a good option otherwise stay closer to town. 5. When I arrived Taxi's were 65 euro, share a ride 40 and the bus to the subway 8 + 1 euro a trip subway ride and a 10 minute walk to the hotel, make sure to check the prices before you go. Devamı

The location is not to far outside the city center and was pretty quiet at night. They a good penny for parking inside the gate. Beds are very stiff, we always bring one of our blankets for extra comfort. Had a nice balcony with good view. The breakfast bar was far better than expected. …except the vast acreage of archeological park across the street, of which we had an awesome view out of our window. We had a car, and we’re grateful for the secured parking area provided. Staff was professional and helpful. Room was comfortable. The included breakfast was more substantial than most run-of-the-mill hotels, but get there early, because […] the hot items were not kept that way, and overall, the breakfast was not well replenished by the staff (though they tried – they just literally ran out of stuff). The roof-top breakfast “terrace” I would say is a big miss by this hotel. They have a great view of the huge park across the street. A real added value for any property in Rome I would imagine, yet this hotel seems to be doing nothing with it. We went upstairs for breakfast, expecting to enjoy the beautiful site we’d witnessed out our window, and found all the windows and openings closed off, apparently in exchange for having air conditioning. Maybe if you’re there sometime other than summer season, things will be different. A comfortable place though, with a helpful and attentive front desk staff, and apparently not too far removed from a metro stop, (several blocks away) and from there you can access anything Rome has to offer. Based on prior reviews the Hotel was what I expected. For the price and if you are driving is an ok hotel. If you are picki with hotels and like luxery and convenience this is not the place to stay. The location is hard to find even with a navigon. Everything is about ten minutes driving time and you can park anywhere in Rome. The room was small, and the balcony was actually a bowindow, but I was not there to spend time in the room, so I appreciated more the fact that the hotel is well served by metro and bus, it is in a real neighboroud, so you have everything close: grocery stores, hairstylist, tobacconist, bar. We came back to the hotel at 10 pm and we walked to it from […] the tube station and there were families and people in the street and we felt safe and at home. It is a breazy and quiet area so we slept well. The room aren't very confortable, but acceptable, the breakfast is ok, no lunch or dinner. You need to pay for your parking spot, but we didn't come by car, so I don't know how much it was. Taxies are not expensive, compared to US or other towns in Italy. Devamı

Nice hotel. Room had a great view. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and roomy. Only drawback was breakfast which was ok but have had better in both Rome and other cities. Neighborhood was relatively quiet and had local shops and cafes. Walk to tubes was a bit of a distance but wasn't too bad and was on the A line which allowed for […] easier access to sites we were looking to see. Situato in una zona tranquilla gode di una bella visuale. E' un 4 stelle, in realtà lo è solo nell'anima perché, soprattutto la nostra camera, aveva bisogno di una restaurata: mobilio un po' liso, macchie di umidità, bagno in evidente stato d'usura. Ciò non toglie che è evidente tutta la volontà di offrire il massimo possibile. Il prezzo pagato alla […] fine è stato onesto considerata una buona colazione offerta. Hotellet ligger for langt væk fra centrum. Air conen kunne ikke rigtig køle værelset ned, Morgenmaden var dissideret elendig! De ansatte virkede arrogante. På vores tur til Italien boede vi også på 3 andre 3 stjernede hoteller som alle var langt bedre end dette hotel! Så gå langt uden om dette hotel!

We stayed in Roma Park for 2 days. It's a nice hotel and service provided to us was excellent.

Não fizemos nem chack in neste hotel pois ficava muito longe do centro, diferente das informações oferecidas, um táxi para o hotel, da estção central custa 50 euros, e não tem nenhum ônibus, metro ou bonde que chegue até lá, ou seja imossível de se hospedar se a intenção é conhecer os pontos turísticos!

Das Hotel liegt etwas abseits des Zentrums. ca. 20 Min. zu Fuß zur nächsten Metro Station. Es ist ruhig und sauber. Das Frühstück läßt allerdings zu wünschen übrig. . . Im großen und ganzen ok

Siamo rimasti molto contenti del soggiorno presso l'hotel Roma Park per l'altissima qualità dei servizi offerti (pulizia, silenzio, efficienza e gentilezza degli addetti, qualità e completezza della colazione). Lo consigliamo ad occhi chiusi anche per l'ottima posizione a condizione che si sia auto-muniti. Marco, Pescara

Good hotel. The busconnection to the center was surprisingly fast (about 15 min.), maybe because there was not so much trafic in the middle of august. The personnel could be a bit more friendly.

I liked the hotel very much, thier service was great, the room was nice exactly like the pictures, the neighborhood was very calm and there is pretty much everything near the hotell from cafes,bars, resturants and a supermarket. Liked I said its really nice place for a hotell however the nice places in Rome are not located nearby but thats not a problem […] at all because the metro station (Furio Camillo) is near the hotell all u need is to take a 10 minutes walk to the station and by metro it talkes 5 minutes to the center of Rome. You can also take a buss to the town and the buss stop is only one minute walk from the hotell. The employes in the hotell reception is very friendly, helpfull and do speak ENGLISH !!!!! ( believe me its a miracle in Italy to find someone speak english). I do really recommend this hotel. Devamı

Dit hotel is geen aanrader. We zijn met een paar jongens op citytrip geweest en zochten een hotel in Rome dichtbij openbaar vervoer. Misschien ligt het aan onze zoekkwaliteiten, maar dit hotel was niet wat wij voor ogen hadden. De receptionist was een beetje een norse man, maar hielp ons verder goed. Hij gaf ons ook meteen een kaart en kon vertellen […] waar we heen moesten om alles te zien. De kamer was niet goed. Op het eerste gezicht was alles mooi en schoon, maar dit was niet het geval. De douchecabine van onze kamer was oud en kapot, de stang waar de douchekop aan opgehangen moest worden ontbrak compleet, het bed was hard en achter het bed stonk het naar (wat wij dachten) kots. De airconditioning deed het niet goed (vervelend als het +30 graden is) en om alles nog erger te maken zat er een bloedvlek op het sprei. 's Morgens vroeg hadden wij de pech dat we op de eerste verdieping zaten, want e.o.a. vuilniswagen maakte ons elke dag lekker vroeg wakker. Het hotel zit (wat de receptionist ook beweert) op ongeveer 12 minuten heuvelopwaarts lopen van het dichtsbijzijnde metrostation. Parkeren en internet zijn niet goedkooop in dit hotel. Ik zou volgende keer niet weer in dit hotel verblijven. Misschien was het pech, maar ik neem het risico niet. Devamı

Hotellet var generelt udmærket, men det lå for langt væk fra div. seværdigheder. Kostede bl.a. 65 Euro til/fra lufthavnen. Det var ikke muligt for personalet at bestille en taxi til 5 personer, en dag vi skulle på udflugt længere væk?? På trods af at dette ikke var et problem ved taxi holdepladserne. Morgenmaden var ikke ok, når man tænker på det […] er et 4 stjernet hotel. Brødet var tørt. Æggene kolde. Baconen havde dårligt set en stegepande. Selve området nær hotellet har gode spisesteder, hvor vi fik noget af det bedste mad i Rom. Devamı

Nice hotel in the middle of housing area. It takes 10 minutes to walk to nearest metro station. Suitable for families. Good breakfast.

Helt grei BB. Fint Bad, hard seng, god frokost, dårlig trådløs dekning for PC, lite støy.
