AMERICAS BEST VALUE INN - Indianapolis

After my husband's grueling tour in Afghanistan last year, I thought I would take him to the Superbowl Village (even if we didn't have tickets to the game) for some fun. We expected to pay, and did pay in advance, way more than this hotel is worth because it was Superbowl weekend. However, we did not expect a huge extra fee charged to our credit card […] -after we left- under the guise of additional taxes! An extra hundred! It was outrageous! The hotel was rundown. The neighborhood was shady. They ran out of hot water while I was showering in the morning. The non-smoking room smelled like smoke. All other hotels were sold out so we had no choice but to stick it out. I would never stay here again no matter how close it is to downtown! Devamı

I knew that for the price it wouldn't be a great stay but I was disappointed with how cold the room was, and the fact that the TV sound didn't work. The hotel staff also mistakenly charged my credit card twice. Still waiting for them to fix the error. If you're willing to slum it for a night, it's a pretty convenient location next to the highway.

This hotel was not a 5 star by any means. But got the job done being a few mins from just about everything including downtown, the war memorial, indy speedway and the airport. It is close to food and all major highways. Housekeeping was very nice and did their job well. Rooms were clean every time we returned to the hotel.

The office smelled horrible. Someone needs to see a doctor about their gastro-intestinal issues. The key to the room did not work, so we were relocated to another room. The new room's lack of cleanliness and old, broken down furniture made me want to know how many hookers and drug dealers had used it before me.
