Why in this day and age is there smoking in any hotel. Front desk at check in was great. Cleaning staff followed up on requests promptly. Breakfast was good and worth going to.

Not as clean as we expected for a Holiday Inn hotel, but the manager seemed concerned by our complaints and assured us she would correct the issue.

I was NOT HAPPY the first night I checked in. I booked a non smoking room but when I checked in they put my 2 children and I in a smoking room. The smell was not nice. I booked my room three months before my stay. I had to check out the next day in order to get a different room for the following day.
"Staff is Rude"
I have never been treated so bad by a front desk staff in my life. I will never return to that hotel and don't recommend it to anyone. They also got my room wrong.
"Perfect place to stay in Williamsburg"
Very nice hotel, and staff. The room was spacious and clean. We went to Williamsburg to visit Busch Gardens. A very short scenic drive, approx 5 mins. Then hotel is in a nice part of town. 2 mins from the Outlets. I would say in between the outlets and the hotel, there were about 20 nice restaurants to choose from. We ate at a Thai one the first night […] and a Japanese the next. They have a table in the lobby with coupons for the restaurants, and info. on surrounding places to visit.( very helpful) Get the room package with the breakfast!!! Awesome!! Scrambled eggs, sausage, muffins, waffles, cereal...ALL morning drinks! We stayed 2 nights and grubbed out! Very very well done! We will go back, next time to Williamsburg to visit Jamestown. "Great hotel!"
I was very pleasantly surprised by our stay at this Holiday Inn Express. Having boycotted all Holiday Inns since a terrible stay at one back in 1997 (yes, I hold grudges), I only booked this one because it was the only hotel I could find in Williamsburg that had 2 queen beds as an option (rather than 2 doubles, which is miserable when sharing beds with […] kids!). I was really thrilled with the quality of the hotel! The beds were very comfortable -- soft linens, variable pillow sizes and firmness to accommodate different preferences. It was very quiet, very clean, and very nicely decorated. I will definitely stay again! And breakfast was quite good -- the "expanded continental" breakfast even had scrambled eggs and sausage gravy, waffles, and a large selection. The kids and I all enjoyed it. Devamı
"Overall good stay."
The hotel was overall pretty nice. The bed was nice room wasnt huge but it was ok. My only complaint about the room was that the tv and microwave were very outdated. And also no dvd player and not many channels. The breakfast was good. The pool was cold and no hot tub, but they did have jets in the pool but didnt provide any noticable heat. My biggest […] complaint about the hotel is the maids. Every morning they were very loud and very unproffesional in the hallways. Each morning i was woken up earlier than i had planned because of them. That could be a deal breaker for me in the future. Also we kept our quiet please sign on the door and the maids still tried to enter the room banging and pushing on the door even though we had it locked. "Holiday Inn Express Williamsburg"
Never been here in the summer, but we come in spring & autumn. It has always been very clean & very courteous staff. It is our favorite hotel in Williamsburg. Preteen daughter especially loves this hotel.

My husband and I had the most wonderful stay. Everything was clean and the staff were so helpful and friendly. We'll make sure and stay there every time we visit in the future.

Rooms are a little small. but experience was a positive. Location is good for shopping and dining and is a 3 minute drive to Colonial Williamsburg.

"Overnight stay"
The room appeared clean visually. The bathroom tub did not drain when you took a shower so your feet were sitting in four inches of water by the time you were finished. I asked for clean towels and was told I could not have any because they only collect them once and will try to get me some, but I never got them. The hotel is conventiently located close to everything. The contenental breakfast was okay. There was a decent variety. Beds were comfy and clean. My only complaint are the thin walls. The place is not very well insulated and you can hear the water running in other rooms as well as when people flush the toilet. "Williamsburg long weekend"
Had to travel to Williamsburg for a friend's wedding so I stayed at this hotel to be close to the events as well as William and Mary. Hotel was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and it was a nice walk down to historic Williamsburg and William and Mary. "The elevator room"
My only complaint is that our room was next to the elevator maintenance room and ice machine and both were exceptionally loud. I can't believe they even put people in a room that loud.

"Perfect"
My wife and I recently stayed at this hotel for a long weekend getaway and it was perfect. We booked through hotels.com and were supposed to have a non-smoking standard room. When we arrived we were told they were booked and we could only get a smoking room. We booked last minute so this was fine and the staff was very accomodating. We were upgraded […] to a suite and the staff sprayed the room with air freshener and placed an ionizer in the room while we were at dinner to clear the air. On numerous occassions the staff was extremely helpful and went out of their ways to help. Room was very clean and breakfast was very nice as well. Location of hotel is perfect. "I Expected Better"
This is only the second time we had stayed in a Holiday Express, the first was great. The bed linens were a little worn, the pillows lumpy. The bathtub drain was slow and the plastic shower liner was nasty dirty. All of these could have been taken care of in routine maintenance. The staff was friendly and the lobby area of the hotel was nice.

This has got to be Williamsburg best hotel! From the moment we checked in, till we left we were made to feel like "family". The clerks were ALWAYS friendly and always very helpful. We spent five days there and enjoyed every minute of our stay at this hotel. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is going to Williamsburg. Even if only for one night!!! "Needs Improvement"
For the price we paid and the reviews I read, I expected this to be better than it was. The fridge made noise all night and woke me up repeatedly, the digital thermostat display was bad making it very difficult to control the temperature in the room, and the shower was partially blocked with scale buildup. "Good for the Money"
Location was about 15 minutes from Busch Gardens which is where we were going. Had a Quuen Suite which could have been bigger, we had two adults and two teenagers. Two Queen size beds and a fold out couch. Larger than most refrigerators and a microwave which was very convienent. Pool water and room were very cold. Breakfast was more than expected, eggs, […] biscuits, sausages, cereals, cinnamon rolls (which my kids loved). Bagels, waffles and toast everyday. Would stay again if in the area. Devamı
