Americana Hotel and Casino - Willemstad

It's seen better days, but then so has Curacao.

Buyer beware. This hotel had no amenities as advertised- internet access, phone, etc. The hallways had odor of urine. The onsite restaurant was expensive and food quality suspect. There was a garbage bag in the hotel pool. The night receptionist was rude.

I was really not happy with the hotel I have alredy stayed in this hotel 2 years ago several times during that time the hotel was very nice instead of it getting better its worst its my first time in life there was no hair dryer in the bath room and no iron I called the front desk for and iron they said I need to come down to the front desk and pay […] a $15 deposite to get a iron and can't make any local call from the room the phone does'nt have any buttons I found it so strange for a good hotel. Great location, nasty place. Bad service. I asked for a late check out. They wouldnt even give me an extra half an hour. Very rude. Told me they had a huge group coming up. I stayed at the reception and no one came, the hotel was literaly empty in this low season. Spend an extra 40 bucks and stay and the great Kura Hulanda.

Overall our stay was cionfortable and the location is convenient. The only issues about the hotel were that the rooms do not have 120v outlets and the hotel does not provide the converters. Seconly, no wireless in the rooms, and the hotel charges an extra daily fee for the cable to connect to the internet in the room. Bring your ouwn cable.Parking lot […] is small, not enough spaces fro all guests with cars.. Devamı

Right on the waterfront and across from the town. Somewhat noisy because of all the activity on the square out front.

Great access to Rif Fort. A little noisy during rush hours.

We arrived 30 mins before check-in time. They told us our room would be ready soon. 30 Mins later, they said they needed to change rooms b/c bathroom leaked. We waited another 30 mins for them to clean that room. Finally we got in, the room looked fine, but we had no hand towels, washcloths, or even hand soap in the bathroom. Then we realized there […] were no sheets on the bed. There was one flat sheet (used as a fitted sheet) and a comforter, which was actually two twin comforters split down the middle of the king size bed. We waited two hours for a security guard, yes i said security guard to bring up two more sheets so we could make the bed ourselves. The comforter also had a number of small black curly hairs. It was not a good nights sleep. On the plus side, the location is excellent. The floating brigde was directly outside our window for an easy walk to Punda. I'm thinking all the problems with room were caused by them rushing to get it ready, but I still would not stay there again. Devamı

El hotel la primera impresión que arroga es de algo raro por su lobby no esta integrado a la edificación, pues bien la atención fue excelente, la habitación muy limpia, pero solo tengo dos detalles, el mantenimiento de la piscina es un asco, y la habitación que me dieron olía a cigarro, por todo lo demás la estadía fue excelente.

Tiene Buena Ubicacion, pero seria bueno que incluyeran el desayuno, no importando q sea un poquito mas costoso para comodidad de los huespedes. Lo demas chevere.....

el hotel es bueno pero no tiene conexion de internet

La habitacion estaba totalmente llena de olor a tabaco los colchones en mal estado, el bano sucio y con moho en el lavamanos

Van het Americana Hotel en Casino heeft niemand gehoord in Curacao. Ook niet toen we op het Brionplein Z N stonden. Het hotel heet Howard Johson Hotel. Dit heeft ons heel wat energie en frustraties gekost om daar in het pikkedonker achter te komen. Me parecio que se encuentra muy bien ubicado si sobre todo lo que se busca es ir de compras.

Su ubicación es excelente, posee una vista hermosa del puente movil, muy cerca de los sitios de compra.... me encanto.

TUVIMOS PROBLEMAS PARA ENCONTRAR EL HOTEL DEBIDO AL CAMBIO DE NOMBRE, PERO LA HUBICACION ES EXCELENTE YA Q ESTAS MUY CERCA DE TODAS LAS TIENDAS Y DE LOS TERMINALES DE PASAJEROS DE PUNDA Y OTRA BANDA

En líneas generales, muy satisfecho por el hotel. SÓLO una observación, este hotel YA no se llama Americana Hotel, su actual nombre es Howard Jhonson. Esto crea mucha preocupación, porque los lugareños no saben de la existencia de tal hotel. Gracias a la memoria de personas mayores del lugar, que recordaban que ese hotel Americana estaba allí, donde […] ahora funciona el Howard Jhonson. Por favor actualicen la información en la web. Muy buena ubicacion, excelente atencion

Toda la estadia excelente, gran ubicacion del hotel, excelente habitacion, muy buen servicio, en realidad corresponde lo que he pagado con lo que disfrute. Gran opcion si viajan de trabajo o en familia saludos y que sigan asi para que crezcan mas....

Perfectamente ubicado. Buenas instalaciones. La atención del personal no es muy buena. Recomendado por sus bajos precios y buena ubicación, a una cuadra del terminal de buses.

El Hotel muy bien ubicado en la zona centrica y comercial de Curacao. Aunque pedimos una habitación de no fumadores el olor a cigarrillo era constante, el tv del cuarto regular, ya que el control no funcionaba. de resto bien. Solicitamos cambio de habitación pero nos colaboraron con la solicitud.

muy buenas todas las instalaciones del hotel excelente situado,lo unico que faltaria para ser el perfecto seria que incluyera el desayuno como otros hoteles que e visitado en punda,y por la misma tarifa...de verdad por ese detalle algunas veces he dejado de hospedarme hay.. muchas gracias poder darme la oportunidad de expresarlo por eso es el crecimiento […] como institucion Devamı

Hotel con amplias y limpias habitaciones. Baños Comodos y muy bien hubicado. muy bueno para ejecutivos. El internet no es inalambrico. Altamente probale que regrese en proxima visita

voor een overnachting wel ok, de kamers mogen wel beter schoongemaakt worden, wel een prima uitzicht op de swinging lady, ingang geeft wel een onveilig gevoel s avonds, vooral de parkeerplaats. Precies in het centrum wel makkelijk voor als je uitgaat
