W Seattle - Seattle

We needed somewhere convenient in downtown Seattle to spend one night and the W was perfect. Check-in process was fast and courteous. The room we got on the 15th floor was great. Bed was very comfortable. Really no complaints! Got a great rate from hotels.com as well!

Overall an excellent experience. Clean comfortable and well-equipped rooms. Satisfying breakfast (not included). Having to pay for WiFi in the room is quite a let-down though.

Love this hotel! It was my second time here and it's a fantastic hotel. Great rooms, amazing bar, and the best staff ever! Brent who works the front was very helpful and very nice!

Perfectly placed for our Mom & Dad get-a-way night. Went to Benaroya Hall to catch a show and right back to the hotel afterwards. No parking hassels and no traffic delays.

We stayed at The W after going to a mariners game. The hotel was nice and overall we were impressed with the atmosphere and room.. We sat down in the restaurant to have a few drinks and dinner before the game and the service was terrible.. Very slow and very rude. Although the sushi was AMAZING!! I've stayed at this hotel quite a few times throughout the years. Unfortunately, our room was not ready by the 3 pm check-in. We were not notified by the front desk via text message when our room would be ready. We finally went up to the front desk for the third time and they said it was ready. I've been in the hospitality industry for over 30 years. […] When a room is not ready on time, the management should at least offer you a drink in the bar to smooth out the situation or send an amenity to the room with an apology from the GM I will not stay at the W again as they lost my business with their non caring response to our situation.. The hotel itself was really comfy. They require a $45 valet parking, but we parked in the ace parking garage next door and it was less than $30. They offered us a free movie or free wifi because our room had a view of the parking garage. Will be staying here again.

We chose this hotel becuase it was walking distance to the Benaroya Hall where we saw a concert. We would recommend it for anyone traveling to Seattle to see a show there or any of the theatres near by too.

Nice hotel and staff but we didn't know that you had to book parking and ended up having to park in a seperate area and walk in the rain late at night.

Great hotel - perfect location, excellent staff. As usual with a W hotel, staff are courteous and helpful, and the hotel was clean and comfortable. This hotel is in a great downtown location, lots of restaurants and bars nearby. I would definitely stay here again.

I could hear the guy in the next room sneeze... and was up all night because everytime someone closed a door my whole room echoed. I opted for the "green service" which just means that they dont clean your room, which is fine but my room was old and falling apart, one example is that the shower curtain kept falling down. The bathroom was less that above […] avearge that I expect when staying at the W chain. This hotel has a very fancy lounge and bar area but the rooms are SO below that standard I was disappointed and will not stay there again. Devamı

The stay was good. Only difficulty was finding a parking garage that our truck fit in. The valet need to know where to send people with pick-up trucks.

Other guests on my floor were noisy but the hotel responded immediately to request that they quiet down. Everything else was amazing.

We spent our last night in Seattle at the W. After 9 days of touring around the N.W. We were looking for comfort and ease... that is what we got! Beautiful... great location and excellent service. They gave us a late ck. out with no questions or attitude. Totally made our last day in the city so comfortable and enjoyable!

Parking is ridiculous, $46 dollars to park! Trace is excellent I suggest the Crusty Crab roll!!

The night before I was scheduled to check into the hotel, I read reviews from other people and there were many negative reviews. This of course, left me quite worried since I was scheduled to be at this hotel two weekends in a row. When we arrived we were luckily able to have our car parked in the hotel garage. Check in was easy and smooth. Room was […] very comfy. Every person we came in contact with was very nice and accommodating. I do have to agree with other comentors that the remote for the tv is a pain in the butt and doesn't work well. I'm not sure if they need to change the batteries or find new remotes, but they do need to do something about that. Thought it was weird that there are no coffee makers or refrigerators in the rooms. Besides that, we enjoyed our stay and I will keep my reservation for the next weekend. Devamı

I wasn't too pleased with the hotel. I've stayed at other W properties and Starwood properties and this one isn't nearly the caliber. It's quite run down, and you can tell it's old. I won't be staying here again.

Hotel was comfortable and service was good. More of a "hip-scene" novelty than business hotel. Parking was overpriced at $38/night, room didn't have extra toilet paper or a coffee maker.

Having stayed at the W in the past, I have come to expect an outstanding experience. This stay however was noticeably different. The quality of the linens has changed and not for the better as did the toiletries. As this was a very quick trip I not make use of the eating and drinking facilities at the hotel.

When we showed up to the Hotel the parking was full. The attendent suggested we find somewhere else to park. We had to park away from the hotel and drag our stuff to the hotel. The front desk at this place is a nightmare. Be prepared to wait a long time to check in here. There were at least 20 people standing in the lobby and 2 people checking them […] in. When we went to check out it was the same situation except there was only one person at the counter. After about 15 mins of waiting me and several other guest just through our room keys over the desk and left. The lobby of the hotel is nice looking but the rooms are are nothing to speak about. They are very outdated and include little to no amenities. As a person who travels alot I would sugguest you find somewhere else to stay. Devamı

We Had to switch rooms due to a nasty room " 3 days after valentines day and they didn't clean certain stuff off ottomans and couch" really gross.. Then had to wait in a 45 min line to get a different room.. We moved to a room where the neighboring visitors decided to have a party "loud music loud voices" until 5 in the am.. My wife and I were looking for a nice play to get away for the weekend. We've tried different places in the Seattle area. I will give high marks for the cleanliness and comfort for the room. We liked the comfort ability of the bed and enjoyed the couch by the window. The view was expected for being in the middle of downtown. I suppose it depends on […] which way you were facing. We had a view of the library (nice structure) and a parking garage (not so nice structure). While we weren't there for the TV, I was difficult to use as the programming menu reacted slowly. I was also disappointed that Wi-Fi was not free. Parking is expensive ($40+ at the hotel) unless you want to walk with your luggage. The real turn-off was how dark the place was. The lobby was dark (light's were turned down for happy hour at the bar/restaurant). While I could sort-of forgive how dark the lobby was, it was the same throughout the building (hallways, etc.). I felt like I was walking through a dance joint. It gave a dreary feeling like they couldn't afford brighter bulbs. I will mention that the room wasn't sufficiently light if we turned on enough lights. Devamı

I booked this hotel for a nice weekend with my husband. Unfortunately, the W ruined it. Check in time was at 3PM. We showed up at 5PM and didn't get a room until 6:45PM! Reservations to dinner was at 7PM. The whole point of us getting a room was to get ready in but that didn't happen. When we got there, they said out room will be ready in 10 minutes. […] 10 minutes turned into 45 minutes and 45 minutes turned into another hour. The whole time they said, "we're working on your room right now." I had to ask, "Did a rock star trash the room and you're rebuilding the furniture or what?!" The offered to downgrade us to another room so we can get ready. Because, you know, what's exactly what we wanted: A DOWNGRADE from a very expensive room that we originally paid. They did offer us their generic hotel restroom to get ready in. Because, you know, that's exactly what I wanted to do: Get dressed for a fancy dinner in a public bathroom. The shower water pressure was so weak, I'm surprised anyone can feel clean. The W is just a hype. I've stayed at better rooms at three-star hotels. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE!! Devamı

Our first room smelled of cigarette smoke in the bathroom and there was an empty Fish Crackers package on the floor under the window bench seat. We asked to change rooms and were accomodated immediately.

Everything ok excepted: shower must be improved, lack of power, quite disappointing for such a hotel. Also should have more HBO channels unless you want to force your customers to buy movies (like I did).
