"Easy access to Univerity of Pittsburgh"
The stay was great. The hotel was easy to find and close to the location I needed to get to. The only compaint is the MANDATORY VALET parking to the tune of $18.00 per night. Not a welcome surprise.

"Pittsburgh Shadyside Marriot Hotel"
We have stayed here many times. Our son went to school in the Pittsburgh area. The hotel is clean and located well for us to get to the city,sporting events and shopping malls. Service has always been good and the desk people are helpful and friendly. I would and have told people this hotel is a good and safe place to stay.
"Perfect for the wedding we went to"
I thought the hotel was nice and clean. Good location for all of the events we had going on, but not really convenient for airport or downtown. Hotel shuttle doesn't go to either location. Walking distance to cute shopping area with bars and restaurants.
"A gem between Bloomfield and Shadyside!"
The hotel staff couldn't have been more accomodating. At first, I was a bit annoyed about the daily valet parking rate but it's a real necessity in that part of the city and with unlimited in and out privileges, it worked well with young children. They provided guests with free laundry soap and dryer sheets (and didn't gouge you on the fee to operate […] the machines!) Again, a very key aspect when traveling with small children. The hotel was conveniently located and safe. And you can't really beat Starbucks a few steps away (attached to the hotel by an interior door) All in all, a wonderful visit and a hotel we'll return to again and again! Devamı
"Not for business travelers"
It took over 45 minutes to get a cab to go anywhere. The wifi was weak and the gym is tiny with only a few card machines and no free weights or other work out equipment and no cups for water. The room had a small fridge that sporadically hummed, it was difficult to use the toilet paper and the shower is dark when the curtain is closed. This hotel was perfect for us as we moved our daughter into the Univeristy of Pittsurgh. Everything was more then satisfactory. the only surprise was the mandatory fee for valet parking. A little excessive and annoying
