Novotel Mechelen Centrum - Mechelen

Nice small gym, and sauna. All cardio machines with no weights. Lovely rooms, modern decoration, great showers. Awesome breakfast - smoothies and juices, fresh fruit salads and all the usual pastries etc..

This hotel exceeded my expectation. Very well situated close to small restaurants and cafes along side the river. The room was spacious, clean and modern. The staff friendly and very helpful, providing information when we needed it. Mechelen is a hidden jewel of a Belgian town, that is being renovated and well worth a weekend visit at least.

Mechelen is truely a jewel in the Belgian crown. This Hotel situated in the heart of the town so is a superb vantange point to enjoy the town. The hotel is in a quiet street near the canal where the boat trip leaves from (well worth €6 for adults and €4 for children) and a short walk from the main town. We parked the car in the secure underground car-park €16 per day I think, and didn’t go back to it until we left. Our room at the hotel was lovely and new, spotlessley clean and great value […] for money. The mini fridge proved useful, as eating out was quite pricey, paper cups for hot drinks were naff, but we picked some mugs up cheaply in the town. It was a little bit of a squeeze for two adults and twin 10 year olds, but there was so much to see and do that we where out most of the time anyway. The beds where comfy and we didn’t hear any noise from the street or other guests at all. There is a supermarket next to the hotel and just around the corner there is a little “friterie’ which was good and cheap. Although eating out is pretty expensive, drinks are very reasonable and there are lots of bars just over the water from the hotel. Although with over five hundred steps to the top St. Rumbolds tower is not for everyone, the view from the top is spectacular and if you can’t manage the steps the cathedral itself is very impressive. The Bassilica is also well worth a visit. On Saturday morning a huge market decends upon the town, selling everything from slippers to cheese, and most things in between. 10/10 for Mechelen, we loved it. Devamı

Fantastic hotel, friendly staff, and GREAT location. Very nice rooms and in a quiet part of town. Close to the St Rumbold's Cathedral (which is not just another European cathedral). The staff was very accommodating and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel. You will be very happy with this choice!

Not working hairdryer/only cold air in hairdryer....

Nice hotel, if you book early there are some very good rates available. Located slap bang in the centre of Mechelen's old town, lovely location. Restauramt and bar are quite pricey, but there are a plethora of alternatives close by

I stayed one night at Novotel Mechelen Centrum with my wife and two sons in a family room. The room was large and had really comfortable beds, separate shower and bath tub. Very clean and a nice contemporary design. The location is prefect, right in the middle of the city - walking distance to all restaurants and sights. Hôtel agréable,très accueillant , petit- déjeuner excellent et varié,belle ville touristique à recommander.

Endnu et hotel i Novotel kæden er blevet besøgt, & jeg vil tilslutte mig alle de andre som påpeger at det er en hotelkæde med høj kvalitet. Hotellernes placering er gode så man altid er placeret i centrum af de områder man gerne vil udforske.

we hadden voor minder geld het normale ontbijt geboekt terwijl je voor meer prijs het buffet kon boeken,bij het ontbijt was maar 1 zaal,en daar was ontbijt buffet,als ik de meer prijs had geboekt,had ik me wel een beetje beetgenomen gevoeld.dus alleen boeken met goedkoop ontbijt,dan hou je nog geld over en krijg je toch het buffet
