in overall hotel is ok, nothing to complain except of the size of the rooms. i had cheaper hotels with more room comfort and size.

More or less what you get in Europe. Small and dark with a microscopic bathroom. It's been a while since I stayed in a 'European' style hotel and while this is a 4-star, remember that is a European rating. Most US visitors will be disappointed. This place is not very new, as the exterior and promo shots might have you believe. My advice? This isn't […] the Marriott or Hilton folks - lower your expectations and remember that regrettably the other options are really much better. Not much of a gym, for example (that's why they don't take many pictures of it). The treadmill folds up - get the idea? THe Hotel is very nice. The tram stop was right in front of the Hotel and ran every 10 minutes so it is easy to get anywhere you want to go. The room was very large and upscale.

The hotel is 6 tram stops from the main train station, a little far. There is also no free internet. there is a pool and and spa in the basement which was nice. There is air conditioning. We skipped breakfast so we could eat in the train station.

We stayed at the Ambassador for one evening, primarily because it offered a pool to relax in. The hotel is very nice. While it is not in the central, touristy part of Bern, it is a very easy connection via tram with a stop right out front. The hotel was very neat and clean. The staff spoke English and were extremely helful as to directions to restaurants and places to see as well as how to take the public transportation. The bus stop is right outside the front door with a 5 minute ride to the middle of town. The room was small, but very clean and comfortable. This was only one of a few […] hotels that we could get a cot for our teenager. Most European Hotels only allowed for 1 or 2 guests. The cot was a good size and also comfortable. We fit the three of us in there with no problem. The bathroom is very different as it is enclosed with opaque green glass. You could only see shadows through it so it was fine. The hotel is pricey, but everything in Bern is. It was well worth the price to have a clean, comfortable, quiet room. Devamı

Very well maintained, friendly staff, right off the tram stop so no extra walking. Beautiful pool. The only negative was that although the hotel advertised that it had air conditioning, the temperature levels were preset so the temperature could not go any lower than 20 celcius- this was far too hot, for the time that I was there.

Chambre avec vue magnifique sur le parlement de Berne. Néanmoins, la douche est vraiment très petite, et presque encastrée dans les toilettes. De plus la rénovation de l'hôtel en 2005 (il me semble) manque de modernisme, ce qui donne un aspect vieillot aux chambres. Enfin, la piscine est assez petite et le spa vraiment très petit. Les seuls restaurants […] se trouvant à proximité de l’hôtel sont les restaurants de l'hôtel pratiquant des tarifs excessifs au vue de la qualité des plats. El hotel no está especialmente bien. Es caro para las instalaciones que ofrece pero en Berna todo es caro. Está limpio, aunque no tiene grandes comodidades. Cerca del centro (20 minutos andando, 5 minutos en tranvía) y enfrente de la parada del tranvía.

Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Linie 9. Man brauch nur wenige Minuten in die Stadt. Außerdem liegt das Hotel nur 2 Stationen von der Bergauffahrt "Gurten" entfernt. Nette Ambiente, kleine, aber sehr gemütliche Zimmer mit einem kleinem Wellness-Bereich. Perfekt für jeden Business-Aufenthalt.

Da ich bei der Buchung bereits ein 3 Bettzimmer mit dem Hinweis auf die körperliche Grösse meines Sohnes(15 Jahre, 75 Kilo) verlangt habe wurde ich herb in Hinsicht auf die Zimmergrösse enttäuscht. Nicht nur das das Bett meines Sohnes ein reines Notbett war und über eine lächerliche Breite von 60cm verfügte war auch das Doppelbett meiner Gattin und […] mir ebenso eng. So ein schmales Bett habe ich in meinen zahlreichen Hotelbesuchen überhaupt noch nicht gesehen. Die Toilette/Bad ist zwar stylistisch verglast aber die Türe hat so viel Spielraum zum Restzimmer das ein Mindestmass an Intimität beim Toilettengang nicht möglich ist. Auf der Toilette musste man schräg sitzen da man bereits mit einer Schulter von dem Papierhalter in diese Position gezwungen wurde. Ein aneinader vobeigehen im Zimmer war unmöglich es mußten immer 2 sitzen sodass eine Person durch das Zimmer gehen konnte. Auf diese Situation sprach ich in der Rezeption vor und bekam als Antwort: "Das ist eben bei uns leider so". Es wurde mir keine Alternative angeboten. Wie dieses Hotel seine 4 Sterne bekommen hat ist für mich nicht nachvollziehbar. Ich schreibe sonst keine Kritiken, aber diesmal war es eine wirkliche Enttäuschung da ich bei dieser Schweizrundreise in einigen Hotels mit 3 Sternbewertung geschlafen habe und ALLE mehr Komfort als dieses geboten hat. Der Service, das Personal und die Zimmer, mit einer wunderbaren Aussicht auf die Stadt Bern, kann ich allen sehr empfehlen. Das Tram Nr. 9 hält vor der Hoteltüre. Die kleine SPA-Anlage ist sehr sauber und reicht um am Morgen ein paar Meter zu schwimmen.

Das Zimmer war sehr klein Die Betten waren durchgelegen Schimmel im Badezimmer Duschbrause war abgeblättert Der Föhn war unbenutzbar, da das Kabel viel zu kurz war

Das Hotel wurde erst kürzlich renoviert und das merkt man als Gast. Die Zimmer sind modern und komfortabel eingerichtet. Im japanischen Hotel-Restaurant habe ich ausgezeichnet gegessen und der Service war sehr freundlich im Hotel wie im Restaurant..

Das Hotel war perfekt; das einzige negative war das doch zu kleine Doppelbett (ca 160m Breit). Das gebuchte Zimmer war ein Doppelzimmer de luxe.

Das Hotel ist gut erreichbar (Tram 9 hält vor dem Hotel) und doch nicht direkt in der Stadt. Am Abend war es daher sehr ruhig. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Momentan wird noch umgebaut. Das Zustellbett (für 3. Person im Zimmer) ist für Erwachsene nicht sehr bequem.
