We had a wonderful time. There is a convience store right across the street. There is a nice little Irish pub within walking distance, which was great since we were there for St. Patricks day!!! The staff was very nice and accomidating.

Great view; has it's own beach bar by one of the pools; not far from places to eat; beachfront; good staff.

We enjoyed the hotel and the view was amazing. The staff was very helpful and even arranged a taxi for us. Look forward to going back.

We could not have been more pleased with this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was spotless and it was wonderful to have a balcony overlooking the ocean. We have already made plans to go back there next year. Thank you!

This hotel is a bit on the older side but we were comfortable, treated very well by the staff, served a "hotel" breakfast every morning, & we were in an oceanfront room a few yards from the beach. One of the best hotels i haved stayed at was very quiet and pieceful. All employees very friendly and rooms very clean will stay again

In town for 2 nights for a wedding. We had an awesome stay at Ocean Sands. Rooms were clean and staff just wonderful. The view was amazing! I highly reccomend this hotel and will stay again when we stay in town again.

This place had a nice breakfast, great location, and generally was good. Just old.

Parking is tight A little to far away from SOS to walk but a short drive. Price makes a good value for several night stay.

Rooms in the towers are nice, comfortable, all you could want...some dated stuff...but overall worth the price for the view, pools, free breakfast, parking, and staff are all friendly....beach in nice and close to plenty of places to eat and shop.

The view from the porch looked out over the ocean. Gorgeous views. The pool was unique in that it even had a lazy river.

we have stayed at this hotel a couple times before and were always pleased with the room and staff. its not real fancy but its clean and comfortable and close to most everything. i took my own coffee pot cause they have those 2 cup pots. i told the house-keepper when i left they should invest $10 at Walmart and get the 10-12 cup makers. also the breakfast […] was ok. not a big choice, but what they have is fresh. but go early. you get your money's worth. Breakfast was good and nice to have the choice of sitting outside when eating. Loved have Tiki bar right there at pool. Pool clean and neat with plenty of chairs for sun bathing. Staff very friendly and helpful. The only problem was a long wait for the elevator. The addition of a second one would be nice.

I've stayed in many Best Westerns however this was by far the worse experience. The building is very old! I though we were staying in the main building which looked okay however the annex building was in bad condition. Pros- Right off the shore Continental Breakfast (was okay not what i expected ...They served orange and apply juice. No bagels but […] they had english muffins and boiled eggs. Waffle maker was broken.) Cons- Small rooms Old building felt like motel Room service not good room felt dirty due to old building Saw a small roach I would not recommend this hotel. Devamı

The Hotel was dated but clean. The annex building is about a 150 yard walk to the front office. Bed was comfortable. Cable was a little snowy. a little mold in the tile in the bathroom and the bathroom was vesry small. The hotel is on the beach and if your looking for a place to crash on the beach it is a little above average.

Ooh my the beds was the most horrible thing so uncomtable hated it woke up hurting every morning. I slept in much nicer better beds and bedding

I got married on the beach this past weekend and had a 5 night stay at the Best Western. In my party there were 7 other rooms booked in addition to my own. We checked in very late Thursday night and there was no parking, nor any luggage carts to be found. Because it was so late, we were able to still park out front and manually take our luggage to our […] room. When I booked this room, I asked for oceanfront. When we arrived we were oceanfront, however we were on the 1st floor, and I would certainly call that "pool front" rather than ocean. I asked if there were any rooms available on another floor, but there wasnt. I didnt feel we had any privacy on the 1st floor with people at the pool all the time, plus we couldnt even see the ocean. There was conveniance of the 1st floor however, when there were no luggage carts and we had to manually carry all of our luggage to our room. We had tons of luggage with us, as we were getting married there. The lock on our room door had to be replaced while we were there as it broke off in my hand. The toilets were in need of repair and were very hard to flush. The continental breakfast was very good, but in a cramped space for the size of this hotel. Some mornings the line wrapped half way outside. For the most part the staff I encountered were friendly, with a few exceptions. At check in, it seemed we were bothering the male desk clerk from his break. Although our stay at the Best Western Ocean Sands was decent enough, it was not worth the amount we paid per night. This hotel is in need of alittle TLC. Not sure if I would try staying there again. Devamı

We really enjoyed our stay and was very satisfied with management when we had a problem. We went on vacation as a couple and had a family with 4 children above. After complaining to management about banging noise after 11pm and starting again @ 6am, we were moved to another room and had a free lunch. When i booked the hotel through hotels.com, I was told I would pay for the room when I arrived. I knew they would debit the 5.00 reservation fee, which was fine, but to my surprise they debited my room also!. Good thing I had money in the bank or I would of had a bank charge. The hotel itself was ok, nothing to brag about!. Parking was TERRIBLE!!!!! […] Very little parking at the hotel and had to park in an overflow lot, which was not close to the hotel. The front desk was about the friendliest I have encountered and I have been all over the globe. The elevator was malfunctioning when I arrived but to make up for the inconvenience, I received a free upgrade. The Continental Breakfast is pretty anemic but that is to be expected. We just got away for the weekend. The room was very comfortable and clean. our only complaint was we could never get in hot tub. It was always full of kids jumping around with water wings on. I always thought it was for adults. Guess I was wrong.

Nice hotel, enjoyed the tiki bar drinks and staff - was within walking distance to a resturant/bar and convenience store. The morning breakfast bar was good and well stocked.

We really enjoyed our stay all of the staff that we came in contact with were helpful and friendly. Our check in and check out were smooth and quick. We recieved a free room upgrade and were very impressed with the large, well kept room that we were placed in. The hotel was clean and in a quiet location. Although parking was limited we always found […] a spot in their satellite parking lot and it was only 1 block away from the hotel and not a difficult walk. The only issue was the very slow elevator, however, that would not keep me from staying here again. It was a great weekend and Best Western experience. Devamı

the Best Western Ocean Sands Beach Resort has no business calling itself a Resort. it was like staying in a 1960's motel, and it's probably at least that old.The Tiki Bar is lame, the Lazy river is a cesspool circle, the beach shower doesn't work, there is a garden hose nearby to rinse off sand. We have been staying at the BW for years. It's a great price, oceanfront, convenient, continental breakfast. We even got a room upgrade which worked out perfectly. We'll be back next year!

For the price this hotel was great. It was my birthday weekend and I went with family. We weren't as concerned about the room because we didn't plan on spending much time there. I was surprised at how quiet the rooms were, we never heard other guests. The room was clean and the view onto the ocean was amazing. They have a tiki bar at the pool which […] I didn't eat at but was really convenient. Check-In & Check-out was very easy. The only complaint was that the elevator is slow and hot and you had to park across the street, but other than that it was a great place to stay and I will stay there again. Devamı

Our stay was eveything that we wanted it to be. The room was clean, the staff was very friendly, the hotel was quiet, they kept the food area stocked at breakfast, and the ocean front veiw was amazing! We also were lucky to always get a parking spot right in front of the hotel! Our next trip to the beach, we will definately be staying here!
