Best Western Hotel Chamade - Ghent

hotel staff was very friendly, we could even check in early since our room was free. if you need a place close to the train station for an in-and-out visit in the city - this is a great place.

Picked this hotel at the last minute and glad I chose it as it is only a few 100m from the main train station. Check in only goes till 11pm just to be aware. My room was spacious, had tea & coffee facilities. A tram was located right outside the hotel and takes you right into the centre so easy to get about. Excellent location for business and getting in and out of the city. 2 min walk to station to get tram as not running from outside yet (at 11.3.11). Walk is 20-25 to tourist centre. Clean good standard room an quiet, even at the main street side. Very friendly and helpful manager.

The hotel was placed in a convenient location, unfortunately there are a lot of roadworks being undertaken right outside the hotel which look like they will be underway for quite a long time. Our hotel room on the 5th floor had windows that opened fully, without bars or safety barriers - very, very dangerous for young children! The room was spacious […] with a mini bar and a decent sized bathroom but it didn't have air conditioning. We stayed over on a hot July night and had to have the windows open to cool the room down, however there was a lot of noise from people returning home after a Saturday night out (even at 4am)! The breakfast was a basic continental with eggs, various breads, pastries, yogurts and croissants. There was plenty of food available and it all tasted very nice. This is a basic but comfortable hotel, which is good for a short stay and is reasonably priced. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone with young children as the windows opening fully are a real danger and are low enough for even a toddler to climb up. Devamı

Erittäin hyvä sijainti junalla liikkuvalle. Parin minuutin kävelymatka asemalta. Oven edestä ratikka keskustaan. Huoneet julkisivun puolella erittäin meluisia (ainakin alimmissa kerroksissa). Muuten hotelli perustasoinen ja ihan mukava.

Personnel très accueillant, hôtel calme, à 25 minutes à pied du centre ville. Véhicule souhaité (7 e par jour le parquemètre et gratuit le dimanche) ou desservi par le tramway.

Bon état général, proche gare mais éloigné du centre; il serait juste bon d'indiquer sur le site que la taxe de séjour , est à régler directement auprès de l'hotel (certes faible mais cela oblige d'un paiement double: un auprès d'hotels.com + un auprès de l'hotel)

De netheid van mijn badkamer was niet goed, de vuile handdoeken van de vorige hotelgasten hingen nog aan de deur van de badkamer, het bad was niet uitgewassen, resten van haren en dergelijke nog aanwezig. Het ontbijt daarentegen was super, ook de mensen in het hotel waren vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ik zou terug gaan, omdat het hotel vlak bij het station […] gelegen is, één tramhalte, of 5 min te voet, dat is super, de tramhalte voor de deur ook erg handig. Devamı

Wir waren zu den Gentse Feesten in Gent. Die Straßenbahn hält vor dem Haus und fährt alle 5-10 Minuten ins Zentrum, auch in der Nacht. Eine günstige Alternative zu einem teuren Hotel im Zentrum. Die Ausstattung ist BestWestern-Standard und der Service war sehr freundlich.

Hôtel convenable parfaitement renové et situé à Le centre accèssile est à pieds en15minutes ou un tramway juste en face de l'hôtel y va également directement. Service bien, correcte sans plus Un bon hôtel d'étape !

excellent confort de literie ! Au pied du tramway qui vous emmène au centre ville en 5mn

Ett bra hotell med trevlig personal. Stort rum med en skön säng. Frukosten ok. Nära till centralstationen men ca 20 min promenad till den gamla delen av Ghent. I aug 2010 pågick gatuarbeten precis utanför vilket var oerhört störande.
