Best Western Westminster Hotel - Nottingham

We stayed overnight to see a gig at the Arena. Whilst a bit out of town, there's a bus stop directly outside the hotel which takes 5 minutes to get into town which was £1.60 one way (Dec 2010). Upon ariving at the hotel, we were greeted by friendly reception staff, who very swiftly checked us in and directed us to our room. The Hotel is a very beautiful old building which has limited elevator access. We were fine with this, however if you struggle with stairs it is worth mentioning when booking and requesting a more accessible room. When we […] located our room, we pleasantly suprised with the modern facilities, given that it is an old building. There was only two dissapointing factors. Firstly the room was freezing cold. I turned the Thermostat up on the radiator and when we returned from our evening out, the room had warmed up a little. Secondly, the double bed was placed in the corner of the room, so only one person had access to the bedside table. The room was a junior double. The Breakfast was excellent, fresh tea, coffee and toast were brought to our table by the waitress. There was a buffet style hot breakfast which was cooked to perfectly and replenished regularly, also there was the usual cereals and yoghurts. All in all very satisfied with the accomadation. The Hotel was pleasant and comfortable, and the service was good. There was a disco in one of function rooms during my stay and the staff moved me to another room away from the noise when I explained I wanted an early night. The price was good value.

Clean, comfortable bed, good facilities, adequate breakfast... BUT....very easy to get lost in as there are stair cases and corridors all over the place. Staff helpfuly guided when required. The bedroom walls were very thing, to the point where i could hear phone conversations and more annoyingly snoring.

Found a great rate on hotels.com for this hotel and being it was only 1.5 miles from the location I needed to stay at, I snapped this up. The free parking swung it for me as when I checked other similar hotels the parking was all chargeable. The room was a little dated but was warm (being as it was -10 outside - this was a godsend), comfortable and […] clean. Breakfast was fine and filled me up nicely before my day of meetings ahead. All in all, I would and will stay here again and have no hesitation in recommending it to others. Devamı

Stayed here for a night. The decor of the hotel is poor but the rooms are excellent, stylish and comfortable. Wireless internet, flat screen tv and excellent shower. Complimentary newspaper, excellent breakfast and a super price. Don't judge this hotel on the old decor. All staff friendly, helpful and efficient, breakfast was superb. The bed was a little uncomfy - a double made of 2 single mattresses, so a ridge down the middle with one side saggy and one side too hard and the bath could have been less shallow - really wanted to wallow in a nice, deep bath! However, best thing about my stay was the massage I had booked […] on arrival, wonderful and very relaxing. All in all I would recommend this hotel. Devamı

i WAS A LITTLE DISAPPOINTED BY THE SURROUNDING AREA OF THE HOTEL, THE SHUBBINESS OF THE INTERIOR, BUT THE BREAKFAST WAS EXCELLENT

Staff were knowledgable and helpful. Hotel was close to city centre but not to close as to be disturbed by the noise. Would stay again if we were in the area.

Just a short walk from the city centre the hotel was clean, comfortable, and friendly, and reasonably priced. I will deffinately stay here again. The purpose of my visit to Nottingham was to participate in the Nottingham marathon. Unfortunately lots of the other big name hotels seemed to have increased there prices due to this. I booked at single room at this hotel and it was tiny. The bed was short and the mattress was knackered and incredibly uncomfortable since I could feel every single spring. It was the worst bed I have slept on ever! Hotel staff was not very friendly at check-in and neighbourhood was not the best.. I would NOT recommend this hotel!

Friendly and helpful staff; clean rooms; a nice place.

Everything was fine, maybe only the breakfast was not good enough.

Though only a one night stay the impression is of a very well run, friendly hotel. Rooms excellent, breakfast very good. Car parking {which is very important these days} is excellent. The location is also excellent, we walked to the city centre in 20 mins yet it does not feel like a city centre hotel.

I really enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Westminster, it was only one night but the location was great (cash point and shops across the road, garage nearby), there was a relatively large car park (given the street it was on). The staff were all really friendly, everyone from the reception team to the waitresses and cleaners. Even the delivery man […] outside was lovely! We had a junior double, which we booked just because it was cheaper, so I was a little worried about the bed size given that both me and my fiance have arthritis and need a good bed for a good nights sleep. But it was more than enough room - and very comfortable. The room size was plenty, the bathroom immaculately clean and there was a large telly and a hairdryer amongst the usual hotel room items. The shower was a little lacking in pressure but it really wasn't something to complain about given how clean the bathroom was. Breakfast was included for us, and it was lovely - both continental and full english available (OJ and Coffee/tea etc too). The dining room was large, and again the cleanliness was spot on. The taxi into town only cost about £3 on the way in and £4 at night coming back, which is very reasonable given that google maps said it would take half an hour to walk to the centre of town. I was so comfortable in the morning that I really didn't want to get up and leave to drive home! If I was in Nottingham again I'd definately stay here. Devamı

A very comfortable hotel, friendly staff and lovely food. also only a short walk into the city. All in all a good location and good place to stay.

this is a very pleasant, smallish hotel, out of the main centre. my room was so clean you'd say the bathroom had just been installed. quiet lobby, helpful and friendly staff, nice lounge, enjoyable breakfast. for a one night stay for a single person i felt comfortable, safe and well taken care of. All staff were welcoming and helpful. Room clean with good supply of drinks & biscuits supplied. Pillows comfortable, which I think is important. I could not get the wifi to work. Breakfast was pleasant but slightly disappointing compare with many other hotels in terms of fruit being tinned rather than fresh fruit, the only fruit juice being orange, […] toast being from 'plastic bread,' no croissants available, and the cooked breakfast being reasonable (although the scrambled egg was rather insipid) - basically breakfast was unexciting and not the treat I had anticipated to mark my occasional visits to hotels. 蛮老的建筑了，有设电梯，不过去很多房间还是需要走几步楼梯的。背着大旅行箱的话，需要考虑下。房间设施不错，设备齐全，什么都有，而且挺干净。必须要提的是，早饭非常的赞
