Stayed over the New Years Eve holiday - room was over priced and not worth the money paid. There was no one in the reception for a wake up call. Very unhappy especially after checking other hotels in the area where rooms were less and much nicer.

No compliants. Good basic room, everything we needed. The main selling point of this place is that is was in a quiet little street yet you were in St Marks after a 5 minute walk. Oh and nice breakfast.

The place was nice. It was fairly clean. Breakfast was really really good... and the internet was free and decent. Service was good - the people always offered to help and were very friendly. Make sure to get directions before you go. The name outside the hotel is so non-descript... we wondered around for over an hour trying to find the place at 11 […] pm at night. I strongly recommend planning your route before you attempt to find the place... no one we asked ever heard of the place before nor did anyone know where it was. It was weird. And careful as there is a street right by San Marco Square called San Giorgio... AND an island across from the square with the same name... which are both a good 5-10 minute walk away (plus-or-minus a swim to the island). make sure not to bring heavy luggage - no elevators here (like most places in Venice). The windy hallways make it difficult to navigate sometimes, but with patience anything can be overcome. Service was good though... and so was the breakfast. And it is 5 minutes to anywhere in Venice (minus the boatride time) Would we stay here again? Likely. As a side note - Route 1 with the water-bus takes you there from the Roma stop in a few minutes... we learned afterwards that no one really buys passes for the water busses as they never ever check them... it's all on the honour system, but we paid the Euros for 24 hours for 2 people before we knew. Overall we want to go back to Venice again - it was really romantic and different. I wouldn't recommend going for more than 3 days though - I could see it getting stale by the 4th... but up to 3 days at San Giorgio would be great. (p.s. we're not the type to sit in a room watching TV when we go away - tthis hotel supplies rooms with a tiny 24" LCD TV which we didn't even turn on... if that's your thing, go somewhere else as this place isn't for you... if you just want somewhere to store your luggage, sleep, and shower, you can't beat the value price this place offers... at lea Devamı

Old World Charm, Very friendly staff, good location. Not the best option if you are partial to A/C. Rooms have A/C, but it is not up to the job. Also the beds are very firm and the pillows very flat. Other than that, good experience overall. Great Continental Breakfast daily.

Great location, VERY friendly staff, the rooms quite spacious versus what we expected. Breakfast is OK. We stayed there for two nights, and, after a week, returned from the cruise for another night. The second room had really bad air conditioning, and this was upsetting. But overall experience was good.

The staff was great and so was the hotel for a 3 star (don't expect all the amenities or space of a better hotel). The breakfast buffet was pretty bare bones but I did get there 10 minutes before it closed.

Great location. EXCELENT STAFF! 5-10 minute walk from St. Marks Basilica!!!

Un hotel parafit pour les amoureux souhaitant profiter un maximun de venise. Les chambres de bases sont vraiment petites mais l'hotel à l'avantage d'etre idéalement placé au centre de venise. Un bon rapport qualité prix pour ceux qui se leve tot et se couche tard.

Coût modeste, en plein centre historique de venise. à noter que l'hôtel n'est pas bien entretenu (il y avait 2 fenêtres dans la chambre, une était condamnée, l'autre impossible à ouvrir). Mais l'ensemble des locaux est propre (mais mal entretenu !). Petit déjeuner très convenable. C'est un 3 étoiles, qui vaut entre un 1 ou 2 étoiles en France. Environemebt […] calme. Hôtel bon rapport qualité-prix. Un petit déjeuner-buffet copieux et varié. (Un détail important au vue de certains petits déjeuners que l'on peut servir dans d'autre hôtels...) Personnel agréable,chambre propre,effort de parler notre langue, décoration de la chambre typiquement vénitienne,un peu de tapisserie en guise de folklore rajoute toujours au […] charme d'un petit séjour en Italie ;-) Emplacement plutôt bon,pas loin du rialto,des quais Zaterre et de San Marco... Un petit resto très sympa( le rossa rossa) juste a coté! Bref, pas déçu. Hôtel que je recommande avec certitude. Devamı

Außen pfui, innen hui!

La chambre (petite) que nous avions donnait sur le bout d'un canal sans issue, où se déversaient les égouts, et donc malodorant. Fenêtre dont la poignée vous reste dans les mains, porte d'armoire fermée par une chaîne ! Prévoir aussi des anti-moustiques !
