The hotel does not look anything like on the pictures. our room was horrible. Old, stinking and 10 minutes walk from the reception. We ended up in an old building far away from the actual hotel, and when we complained the reception didn't even say they were sorry, they just had a "too bad attitude".... It is a litlle old, but nice and clean, the location is close to the center of the city and they have everything close to the hotel, but they did not have the room that i ordered online at hotels.com

First of all.... i have to mention the elevators. They are soo slowww. And believe me when i say slow they are turtle slow. The service was decent and this hotel is mainly cratered to the tourists. Many tourist buses come and go all through out the day. Many activities you can book from the hotel. Location wise... there is nothing much to do around […] the hotel. felt a bit out of the way

Stayed here for 4 nights and my room was in the old wing of the hotel. Wifi is not free here and I did not think it would be a big deal as I thought I could convert my phone into a hotspot - but 3G service here is spotty due to the layout of the hotel so it did not work out as I planned. About the hotel: it is very dated, the carpets are dirty in the […] hallways and in the rooms. Also, the hotel is huge and a bit of a maze getting between wings and the shopping centre. This hotel must have been the crown jewel of the city 30 years ago. Very impressive lobby!! The upgraded rooms look dated but are roomy and fairly clean. The shopping mall next door is super handy for lunches and snacks and can be accessed from inside the hotel. Would stay again for sure!

Good points: friendly & reasonably helpful staff, room a good size for the price, clean. Not so good points: the hotel is a vast, forgotten conference centre which has not seen a facelift in the last 30 years. It's cavernous feel gives it an eerie quality at night and makes it very easy to get lost. The thin concrete walls brought the sounds of next […] door's ancient and bass-heavy TV directly into my room at 7am, and my bathroom, which was falling to pieces, acted as an impressive amplifier for my neighbour's bathroom habits. Good location near Central Mall with shops, restaurants, Thai Food Market etc etc. Good shuttle service to airport (70 Baht) Cheaper than the "rip off" taxis that want 150. Staff are great, especially the lovely girls in the lobby bar. No free WiFi , this is a bit expensive at 150 Baht per hour , (Ive stayed in many hotels in Thailand and most provide […] Free WiFi) 80 Baht by Tuk Tuk to Night Market, Could do with a "refurb", but all in all , pleasant stay. The Lotus is a great hotel and I'd recommend it to anyone. Breakfast is a full buffet, the bed was great and the water pressure in the shower is something I'd go back for. Service as you would expect in Thailand is very good. Only down side is the Internet access which was 1600BT for the week (Nov 2011). That's an insane price for any country let alone […] Chiang Mai. I recently stayed at this hotel on a stopover. It quickly became apparent that the older section that we were directed to is in need of renovations, from the patches on the carpet to the mildew in the shower and the cigarrette burn in the room-chair. There were two single beds, and as I pulled back the covers of one, I saw that the sheets were not clean […] and that there were several hairs on the pillow : (, yuck, so I slept on the other one. It did not leave me with a comfortable feeling about the hotel or it's care for its facilities. The pool is huge, but again, has many discoloured tiles which indicate time for repairs/refreshing in order to keep guests coming. The breakfast was nice and the staff were professional although not warm. The location is good, it connects to a huge shopping complex. However, I will look elsewhere for my next stopover... Devamı

This is an old hotel with large area, the hotel have two main building, the Huaykaew and Suthep Wing. Hotel is connected to the Kad Suan Kaew Shopping Plaza. It is good for shopping, eating. The room is rather old but overall conditons are acceptable. Breakfast is rather poor with limited items. It is a nice facility, the rooms are large but a little old. The place is next to a mall with many food options...especially the grocery store which has a fresh food market. The staff is nice but virgins to this business and like many SE locations, have rules and prices that make no sense. For instance, you can eat a nice meal all over for 2 or 3 US […] dollars but a drink in 7. or comparable to the NY airport. overall, we had a great time and would recomend. Devamı

a shopping mall is right under the hotel what makes it so convienent. this hotel is about 10 minutes taxi ride to the night Bazar and the taxis in chaing mai are not expensive

The new wing is much better than the old wing where we stayed before. This time my family took two rooms. In ours, the entrance and bathroom lights were off. It took a while to get them fixed as the staff kept passing the buck. Housekeeping sent a man to look and he said "just a moment" and left. No action taken for half an hour. Called the operator […] to complain again and still nothing. This time spoke to the front desk and was put through to the desk manager who finally sent two men to check and rectify the situation. The deluxe room is sizable but the centrally controlled aircon kept going from cool to warm during the night. So you sleep well and wake up in a few hours feeling stuffy. The hotel has seen better days. If they renovate and brighten it, things might improve. Too much sombre brown and blue in its interior decor. Otherwise well-linked to a big mall with lots of shops, restaurants and massage outlets. The down side is closing time is 9pm, a bit early if you want a late night snack or somewhere to go for a drink. Devamı

Hotel location was perfect for us during the trip especially it being beside the shopping centre. The room is really old with frayed towels and blankets and small lumpy pillows. The cupboard is really old too. The toilet is acceptable with separate stand-in shower bath and bath tub. The layout of the room is nice with a balcony overlooking the pool […] but we could not draw open the curtain during the morning or day as the sun is blazing and piercing directly into the balcony. You can hardly open your eyes. i think nothing can be done about this but at least beefed up the beddings and towels standard. We would definitely return again if those negative points can be addressed. Satisfactory but wants to be happy Devamı

The hotel is outdated with its wood theme throughout the entire hotel.It needs an overhaul to its bathroom with 1 light that is not centered.iIf you use the tub you're in the dark.The room they call "deluxe" is average at best.Two small cot size beds are considered a double.Strange but the lobby is elegant and classy with its relexed theme with lounge […] area,piano bar,main hall,water fountain.If management had taken this theme and put to work in their rooms,this hotel would easily be 5 star caliber.It's in need of an overhaul.No drawers for clothing.I had to keep my clothes in my luggage.no sfe in the room,though the lobby has one.Breakfast was outstanding an excellent blend of western and asian specialties.If you book i would include breakfast.Definitely a bargain.The hotel has a mall attached to it.Everything you need is there.But i think it hurts the hotel because there's no reason to stay there and try the restaurants with so many choices so close to you.I only have one specific complaint that the hotel can remedy without much difficulty.I had a friend stay with me and the restaurant manager embarrrased her as to why she wasn't paying for breakfast.I spoke with the general manager and explained in detail in front of the manager that the room was registered to me and ANY complaints should be directed to me and if she was not able to explain herself because of her lack of english that she should not be verbally abusing my guest..The discount for the room made the my stay pleasant and okay.I would not stay there at regular prices.There are many choices you can make and this doesn't have to be your number one unless you like shopping Devamı

Stort hotell som nok har sett sine glansdager, rommene bærer preg av å være over 20 år gamle. Store rom og forsåvidt fint hotell, men noe nedslitt. Imidlertid er det nokså rimelig priset, men for samme pris kan man nok få også andre og bedre hoteller i Chiang Mai. Fint svømmebasseng, hyggelig betjening, ok frokost. Stort hotell som er ca 20 år gammelt, og rommene er neppe nevneverdig oppgradert. Prisen står imidlertid i forhold til dette. Bodde på "Delux-rom". Stort og helt greit rom. Fint svømmebasseng, live musikk i innvendig atrium.

Hotellet var rigtigt stort, man fik travet pænt. Til morgenmad og restaurants betjening var der flot meget personale. Om aftenen spillede det 5-6 mand store band med sangerinde(r). Lækker musik. Hotellets swimmingpool beliggende på 7 etage var rigtigt stort. Vort værelse var lidt nedslidt, men ellers stort og pænt. Hotellet ligger lidt for langt fra […] den gamle by, der hvor barene og de lækre små restauranter ligger, til at gå. En Tuktuk (Knallert taxi) kostede for udlændinge almindeligvis 100bath=20kr. Infiltration dans la chambre, mur défraichi, moquette usée, manque d'insonorisation. Chambres après la deuxième réception à éviter. Piscine manque de transat. Hôtel dans centre commercial, le seul point positif.

Superior Zimmer inakzeptabel (Zimmerzustand, Hotelausblick). Upgrade brachte eine geringe Verbesserung. Dienstleistungen (Liftanlage, Rezeption, Frühstück etc.) unzulänglich. Hotel- und Zimmerbeschreibung völlig unrealistisch!

・予約時　浴槽・シャワーが別とあったがシャワーだけであった。 ・１４泊したが１０日目に洗面所の水道の蛇口が壊れたが修理もせず部屋も変われなかった ・１４日伯したが１度も掃除機による清掃は行われなかった。部屋にゴミが散乱。 ・ＥＶ前および廊下にごみ散乱 ・予約時部屋にセーフティーボックスありと記載あったがなかった。 米予約内容との差異と洗面所水道故障の無対応によりホテルドットコムより返金を希望する。

Stort og lidt uoverskueligt at finde rundt paa. Ikke som angivet safebox paa vaerelset, ej heller kogekande til kaffe. Laa i forbindelse med indkoebscenter, men stadig lidt langt fra den centrale del af byen

Hotellet har perfekt beliggenhet, men er gammelt og slitent. Vi bodde i den gamle fløyen. Rommene var store og romslige, men meget nedslitt. Lange korridorer og gåavstand inne på hotellet, men positiv og hjelpsiom betjening. Mangler som ble påpekt ovenfor betjeningen ble rettet umiddelbart. Svært god kontinental frokost.

El hotel tiene dos alas. Una económica y otra más exclusiva. Nosotros nos quedamos una noche en cada una. El ala económica es grande pero de las peores habitaciones a las que he ido durante mi viaje en el Sudeste Asiático. Por eso nos cambiamos a la otra ala que era mucho más linda. Recomiendo que chequeen en qué ala se hospedan.

We did'nt understand that the hotel was separated into two different (very different) hotels by the ad. Then we would'nt have chosen this hotel at all. We ended up at the bad side of the hotel. We got nothing in return for what we payed for! And we almost were'nt allowed into the pool area, because we lived at "the wrong side" of the hotel. The ass. […] manager in the reception was always really arrogant and had an attitude against us. She did'nt make us feel welcome at all, and made it really clear that she did'nt want to talk to us or help us with anything, When we asked her for some help with tourist attractions, she did'nt answer, just picked up the phone and called someone else, (who was really nice though) who came up to help us with that. このホテルは2つのウィングからなっており、ステープ・ウィングが普通の部屋、フアイケオ・ウィングがスーペリアとなっている。両方とも設備は古いが、室内は落ち着いている。 ただし、部屋によって設備の差・眺望・使い勝手が大きいので注意が必要。 前回ステープ・ウィングに泊まり、今回スーペリアのフアイケオ･ウィングに泊まったが、個人的にはスーペリアの部屋のほうが不便だと感じた。レストランの場所、車の送迎玄関が遠いのがその理由である。 またスーペリアのフアイケオ・ウィングの6階ではエアコンの吹き出し口から絶えず水の流れる音がして、夜は寝にくい。昼でも静かにしているとかなり気になるほどである。 途中で部屋を変えてもらったが、眺望が悪くなったし、解いた荷物をパックしなおして移動するのが面倒であった。 部屋によ […] って当たりはずれがあるが、値段と近隣の利便性を考えるとまずますはお勧めのホテルといえる。 Devamı

Boede der en nat i et deluxe værelse. Alt var som det skulle være.

아침 식사는 종류가 많진 않았지만 맛이나 질이 우수한 편이었습니아. 풍성한 과일과 야채가 맘에 들었구요. 객실 내 욕실에 있어야 할 헤어 드라이기가 없어 약간 의아스러웠습니다. 골프 페스티벌 시기의 관광객이라면 골프화가 젖었을 경우 간단히 말릴 수 있어야 하는데 그런 세심한 부분을 신경 써줬으면 합니다.일단 가격 대비 퀄리티는 아주 좋다고 할 수 있네요. 시내와의 접근성도 좋아 편리하구요. 단지 호텔이 약간 안쪽에 위치해 택시 잡는게 불편했습니다.

あさ5じまでデスコがうるさくてねむれません。

参加したセミナーの会場だったため、宿泊しました。 古めのホテルで、吹き抜けの天井から雨漏りがしたり、エレベーターが来ても、「来た」というランプがつかなかったりしました。吹き抜けを囲んで客室があるのですが、テラスが低くて、落ちたらこわいなと思いました。 でも、部屋は悪くなかったです。

velmi rozsahly hotelovy komplex s nekolika patry obchodu, zabavnimi stredisky, kinem, atd. v dobe postavein byl hotel pravdepodobne spickou. jenze doba malinko pokrocila a hlavne se nikdo nestaral o udrzbu. pokoje jsou nekolik let nemalovane, polstrovani velmi osoupane, televize mozna pamatuje sovetsky svaz a nema ani dalkove ovladani. nicmene celkove […] se v hotelu necha prezit. kdo vsak chce vyssi standart nedoporucuji. ８階の部屋も広く前面が総窓ガラスで山を背景にした町の景色が一望でき非常に気分がよい。フロントの対応も良かったです　ホテルの１階から階段をひとつ上がるとデパートに通じるとびらありで、食事や買い物、両替に毎日便利でした。また、そこでタイマッサージが１非常に安く満足できました。
