I've never stayed in 3 star hotel which has rooms below the ground level with no windows. Luckily I was no klaustrofobic. I have to say that I was very disappointed. Room was extremely small, no free Internet access even in the lobby. There was no mobile phone connection in the room due to the fact that it was in the basement.

The hotel is very well located and reasonable priced which is really the only reason to stay here. You´re a block from the park, two blocks to the metro, and just a few subway stops from oxford street. The room was fine, but not the type you would spend any more time in than you have to. The room service had bad hours and when we ordered take out one […] night no one would even come up to bring us forks or glasses. Our flight home was a few hours after check out and they charged us 20 pounds to keep our luggage there, and they had an attitude about it on top of that. Close to tube and Paddington. Easy hotel. Definitely a sparse room, but everything I needed.

Nice hotel in nice area and clean and nice roms but nothing of that mattered as there was no luggage room or any possibility to store baggage. I have travelled many times around the world and have never before had that problem. Checkout at noon and we should be at the airport in the evening.We had to take the underground to Kingscross and pay £8,50 […] per bag to store our luggage. Too bad because I would be happy to stay there again but now I warn all my friends who travel a lot to stay here. Devamı

The reception staff was unfriendly towards accomodating my request made at the time of booking for a better bed. They also showed incompetence during check-out, initially insisting I settle an internet and breakfast bill that I had paid in cash to the very same lady 24 hours back. Daily internet charges are also too high, and breakfast not a good value […] for the money. The one plus point for this hotel is location, which is excellent. The room cleanliness was also above average. In general if you plan short stays in which tube and bus access is important in central London then choose this hotel, otherwise stay away! Devamı

I was bery satisfied with my stay at the hotel. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. The hotel was near by tour bus pick up/drop off. Walking distance to many restaurants and shopping.

central park was just what we needed for our stay in London served all our needs clean comfortable and very convenient thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Next to Kensington garden and walking distance to Buckingham palace with nice surroundings but poor standard where you could hear people in the hallway. Close to two subway routes and Paddington station (heathrow express). Limited service and quite frankly not perfect english by the staff

Large, clean, comfortable room. Handy for the tube station. Decor a little tired and could hear the family in the next room quite clearly. As a solo guest I felt at ease in the neighbourhood and the hotel itself. Value for money and I would stay there again

You get what you pay for. Overall a good deal with excellent location. Perfect for tourists who are looking for a clean and safe place to stay at a low price

Cheap prices, but the staff had a kind smartass attitude, not very service-minded-

The room was comfortable and clean.

The room is clean and ok - but no more than that. BUT: there is no possibility to leave your luggage in the hotel after checking out ( 12.00). It's not funny to do some sightseeing or shopping during the whole afternoon draging with a suitcase.

The hotel was very basic, service sufficient, location is close to all London attractions. In a quiet area. Good value, functional hotel but not for romantic getaway.

Very good value for money, easy reach by two tube stations. Excellent standard with room.

Excuse the spelling... The location of the hotel is good and it's close to central line and district line. It is clean and looks pretty ok. The beds are ok not more than that. The bathroom has a fan that sounds like a airplane and wakes up everyone thats sleeping in the room. The shower is weak and it takes about 30 min to fil the bathtub. All this […] i can live with but not the service, the personal, and the food. Everyone except the night clerk were quite unfriendly, unhelpful and did'nt no anything about anything. The room walls are thin like paper and you can hear your next door neighbour snoar... The breakfast is crapy and expensive. The hotel is very nice with great location in central London. Only stayed for one night, but I would recommend the hotel to others. Good price and great location.

The hotel is set in a great location, but the rooms and bathroom are the smallest rooms I have ever seen for a hotel. You can barely squeeze into the bathroom. The towels were stained and gross. Not particulary good rooms nor anything else within the hotel that stood out. Nothing bad, but nothing good neither. Fair prices in a good neighbourhood makes it recommendable, 200 m to the underground and a few good pubs that all serve a decent full english.

My wife and I arrived on the Saturday afternoon and left on the Tuesday morning. On Saturday and Sunday there was noise from next door - not just any old noise but very loud noise. I would think that people would keep the noise down, being in a hotel, but not these folk. During our stay there were two seperate occupations of the room next door - the […] noise just went on and on and on. The management made no attempt to stop this, showing no respect to their guests. 'Breakfast' was a joke. My wife and I decided to aquire this elsewhere, locally, and so not put any more money into the hands of the management. I asked the receptionist if my wife and I could leave our luggage in the room, after checkout, and was told 'yes'. However, when we came back to collect it the luggage was locked into our room and we had to go up to the room four times to collect it. Nobody from the front desk offered to collect it when it was obvious that there was a problem with the electronic key under their control. ABISMAL customer 'service'. I DO NOT recomend this hotel. I expected this hotel to be much better and was very disappointed with the poor quality of workmanship / materials in the room. The bathroom was shabby and had very basic quality furnishings. The furniture in the room was of the cheapest basic kind that I wouldnot expect to find in an hotel. Easy to get to by Tube Central Line, two blocks over. Hop on Hop off bus stop, stores, shops all within close distance to hotel.

Hotel room was small and facilities in room poor, but reasoanbly clean, quiet, and in a convenient location to transport and attractions. I stayed 4 nights with no problems. If you don't want to spend your whole time in London in a hotel room, then give the Central Park a go..

the room is big and nice, no insects :) the hotel is close to hyde park, beautiful and refreshing! its close to two underground stations, travel is very easy, or you can just cross hyde park and go to the other side and do some shopping @harrods. however the shower is not very good.....

good location, but can not leave the luggage

We had a twin room which was very clean and nicely decorated, quite modern and the beds were very comfortable but it was extremely warm. The windows didnt open and we couldnt get the air conditioning to a comfortable temperature. Not a great deal of room but enough for the amount of time we spent in the room. We paid for the internet but it wouldnt […] work and after half an hour on the hotel lobby phone to a help line we got a refund. The full English which was very nice. I spent three nights in the hotel with my two children. It was great experience.Fantastic location. Room size was great, a nice window that shows the brightness of sun light and brings the nice breeze of fresh air. I liked having a fridge and a hot water kettle. Good central heating but from the windows it arrives cold. It would be necessary a room for left-luggage office for the the leaving day when we left in the afternoon.

Great bath and good bed, clean and comfortable for overnight sleep. Occasional noise from next door but otherwise good dollar value.

Helt ok hotell,rent och fräscht. Bra läge nära buss och tunnelbana.

The hotel offerred very good value room prices, however, did not have free wi-fi and the charge was way too high for what it costs to provide. We just found that the Bayswater Pub was just a couple of blocks away and had free wi-fi and good beer. John, Newcastle Australia

Hallways are very noisy and they don't let you store your bag in a cloak room, which they do have, but they just rather not store your bag. Also they can print for you, but they just send you to a copy shop a few blocks away. Not a great hotel, but clean(ish). Plus: good value for low rates.

Excellent location. However, I was provided bunker style room with no windows or mobile phone signal. Dust was falling out from the ventilation grill. I got the room quite cheap so cannot really complain. However, I would not recommend paying full price for this hotel.

Hotel was very conveniently located ....within mins of two Tube stations.Clean and comfortable with all amenities.Toilet a bit squeezy and needs a bit of manoeuvering...otherwise I would highly recommend it.Nice eating places nearby as well.Only thing is they are very strict about checkout time.1 minute past 12pm and we were locked out!!

This is a hotel that was, I believe, built to be a hotel and therefore standards are above what is the norm for this area, which is usually below par. Staff were helpful. Good bar and great location in a lovely area and close to Hyde Park and Notting Hill. Lots of public transportation. Good value for your money.
