Drossos Hotel - Thira

This is a good option is you are looking for a comfortable, clean hotel with really helpful personnel who will go the extra mile to make you feel at home... the only bad things about this stay: The rooms are too cold if you visit in other time of the year that is not summer... the heater in the rooms do not work porperly... Wireless internet does […] not work... I had to work in the holidays and the hotel ended up lending me their internet connection in the lobby and plugged it to my laptop... Breakfast is good but it lacks variety... boiled eggs, omelette and crepes are the only options... and it gets old really quickly... TV has just a few channels... but well, TV is not the reason why you go to Santorini anyway... Other than that the hotel is a pretty solid option... I would recommend it as a reliable low-cost option... the staff is truly helpful and they give you advices and guidance about what to do and where to go... enjoy guys!! Me and my girlfriend just got home from a lovely stay at The Drossos Hotel. Very friendly staff and nice and clean rooms. Our room had the bed on a mezzanine level that may cause trouble for some guests, for us it was great as it gave us a big lounge. The breakfast is good and the location is very good close to the black beach in Perissa. There is a […] small pool at the hotel, but we did not use it as the sea was more tempting. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a friendly cheap and clean hotel in Santorini. Oh, and if you need an umbrella for the beach, just ask at the reception! Devamı

The photos are a bit misleading, our room didn't look anywhere near as nice as the photos. The bed was uncomfortable and everything was a bit outdated but the service was good with friendly staff. The restaurant across from the car park is amazing, Gods Garden was the best thing about this hotel!

Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Great location next to Perissa beaches (less than 5 minute walk) and seaside bars and cafes. However, if you're looking for a lively town and bar scene, it is somewhat inconvenient to get to Fira. Also, there is no transporation from the port included so you have to take an infrequently running bus or a taxi.

The hotel was easy to find and conveniently closed to the black sand beach. The pool was very clean. The room was fine and have a nice terrace. Good budget option. This hotel might not be convenient for someone who is planning to stay only in Oia or Fira (since s/he will have to drive 30-45 minutes to get there). We enjoyed our stay at Drossos because of its location, especially the proximity to the red beach. We rented an ATV on our first day but we needed a little faster transportation so we got a scooter, which got us everywhere we wanted. We had no problem riding the scooter to Fira, IA and Kamari from our hotel. Plus, the hotel will provide you with a map […] which consist of a few major roads that was so easy to follow. This hotel is located near everything from grocery stores to the beach. The staff was very friendly and we ended up staying 2 days longer than our original plan. With access to a smaller pool on hotel grounds and a huge pool right next door that is free for hotel guests it provides something for everyone. I was initially skeptical about the hotel but I was put at ease as soon as I met the staff that ran the hotel. The front desk staff was very polite, spoke English, helped us not only with hotel related requirements but also in our planning for the day trips and other recreational plans. The street that has the hotel has many bars, restaurants, and other amenities like public phone, mini-supermarket, bus stops, tour booking offices, etc. Overall, its a very laid back location which is what some tourists would want. The breakfast at the hotel was great and worth the price. I also had a chance to meet the person who ran the hotel who belongs to the Drossos family. His statement that "his staff is like his kids" was perfectly reflected in the way the staff handled their day to day work. The looked very happy and they were willing to help in whatever way possible. Overall, I was very very impressed with the customer service at the hotel. My wife, who works for a top hotel in the US, even mentioned that she wishes she could create the same level of customer service in her hotel. Devamı

O Hotel fica bem próximo da praia de Perissa. Praia que tem muitos restaurantes, muitos mesmo. O pessoal do hotel é muito hospitaleiro, e estão sempre prontos para ajudar em reservas, passeios, indicações, etc. O quarto é simples, mas bem grande. Recomendo fortemente alugar um carro para conhecer a ilha, o carro pode ser alugado no próprio hotel e custa […] 25 euros por dia. Muito tranquilo e seguro dirigir em Santorini. On séjourne dans cet hôtel comme en famille, dans un environnement très agréable, avec un personnel aux petits soins…le tout dans un environnement parfait pour Sa,torin car loin de la foule tout en étant le plus proche des activités nautiques possibles de l'île (Toboggans aquatiques, plages de sable fin, plongée sous marine…).

Lite koselig hotell med gangavstand til stranda. God service ved behov - enkel grei standard og tilfredstillende renhold.

Bra hotell, rum med balkong och nära till affärer och restauranger. 5 min. promenad till stranden. Frukosten var enkel men ok.
