Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa - Young Harris

Resort was very nice and clean. Golf course was great.

everyone at brasstown were excellent. the room was not what we were told it would be by the person we placed our stay with. The bed was bvery uncomfortable. They had a basket with goodies in them and two big bottles of water which there was a price on each item. You would think for the price we paid they would have been free......

I have been here a couple of times, this is a special relaxing place and the staff is friendly and makes you feel welcome. The rooms with fireplaces are an added plus on cold days.Golf, hiking, and horseback riding is an added plus.

This was by far the worst room I HAVE i HAVE EVER had and when we complained at checkout the staff made a joke of it. I would not stay at this hotel again ever

I enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Even though a number of children, it wasn't distracting. Overall it was a great place for a weekend getaway. Staff was extremely pleasant and food in the restaurant was yummy. The bed was comfortable and I am a tad picky abt beds and pillows. No complaint from me. There were a few tweaks needed at the resort or necessary […] in our room. 1st, the curtains were hard to open and fell off the rod. The patio of our room wasn't checked and had an old beer bottle and cigar on the chairs. I would suggest that a resort map be given upon arrival to guests. I couldn't find one as a keeper to use, but in a book or on the wall. Wanted to go on a trail hike, but couldn't figure out where they were, other than the walkway around the golf course. I could have ventured further, but on my own, and with no map, I was reluctant to wander the woods. Other than those minor things, it was really nice and I would definitely go back, perhaps during the fall with the leaves changing. Devamı

The resort is lovely and worth the trip from Atlanta. We will definitely return but this time will make sure to get above ground rooms. The first room we were in was very damp & smelled of mildew, and the patio had 2 beer bottles filled with cigarette butts. We called the front desk and they moved us immediately. The next room was also on a ground floor […] & still had a bit of mildew smell. We cranked up the a/c and it was fine. Devamı

The entrance drive and the grand scale of the great room and dining room, with huge stone fireplaces, high large beam ceilings, and glass wall views of the mountains are reminiscent of the approach to Biltmore, and the grand old railroad hotels like Yellowstone Lodge. The staff is as friendly and upbeat as those Disney World trained. Christmas decorations […] added warmth and beauty. Their soup and pasta buffet is famous locally, and this trip we found the grill's mushroom and Swiss hamburger and the breakfast buffet delicious. The bed linens were soft and inviting, the bath towels luxurious, and the shower, with separate faucets for heat and for volume of water with instant hot water were amazing. The only non-wonderful note was, despite the very reasonable and abundant meals, the little tray of snacks in our room ($4 for a little pack of jelly beans and $8 for a bottle of water) seemed out of place and exploitive. We had a lovely time at Brasstown Valley, but when we decided to take a hike on their trails, we discovered that the hotel staff was very unfamiliar with them. The concierge highlighted a path for us on a map, but the trails were poorly marked and they were starting to switch color markings but hadn't updated the map. We called the hotel twice for directions […] (once at a trail head, and again when we encountered a service road) and no one was able to tell us either where we were, or how to get back. We ended up taking the service road which let us out in a neighborhood about 4--5 miles away from the hotel. A resident told us it wasn't the first time guests from the hotel had ended up there. We called the hotel again and they sent a courtesy shuttle to pick us up. We were lucky that we took our hike in the middle of the day and had our cell phones with us. Had we gone out closer to dusk we would have been lost in the dark. Also, our room was adjacent to a room with a family. We could clearly hear the children crying and arguing and the parents reprimanding them at 8A, so soundproofing was not very good. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the pool and hot tub, the great fireplaces, the horseback riding, and the meals we had. When I commented on a lack of vegetarian options on the buffet, the waitress returned with a plate of asparagus for me. Overall we would recommend the hotel and will visit it again. Devamı

We have been going there for years! We did a hayride over the weekend they always have activities

The view is beautiful. The staff is fantastic. A great place for a long weekend.
