Excellent location on Beach St, between the theater, across the street from museums, the bay, walk to multiple exceptional restaurants. The hotel needs a good interior designer. The room looks more like a hospital room than a hotel.

I feel that Trip Advisor's reviews over-rated this hotel. It's expensive for St Petersburg and valet is x'tra charge that I didn't see on the internet when I booked. Certain breakfast foods (eggs, potato, etc) were not very good. Cereal and toast were fine and there was fruit. Coffee was quite good. Furniture was dusty in my room and the room was too […] crowded with furniture. Linoleum in little kitchen area was sticky like it hadn't been mopped. Hotel is close to the marina, pier, parks, and restaurants. Perfect location for walking. Front lobby is undergoing renovation, so we were upgraded to a top-floor suite with balconey and nice bay view. Weekend manager is extremely professional and helpful. Free breakfast is hot and plentiful.

I was very impressed with this Hampton. The staff was very helpful and professiona from the valet to the housekeeing staff. Rooms were nice. This is a great hotel in a great location. We have stayed there a number of times and continue to be happy with their excellent service and really nice accomodations.

We came down for a ball game and everything was great. Good locaton, good area right next to the marina and good hotel. The breakfast was the best in-hotel breakfast yet and we look forward to coming again.

Walking distance to Dali Museum. In the middle of a great street with good restaurants, shops and night time activity.

The hotel was nice but I had not realized parking would add another $12 per night to the costs.

This Hotel is located in the historic district. Surrounded by restaurants, museum, jewelery stores, and accross from the marina. Walking distance to the Vinoy. Staff is wonderful. The quality of this building and the rooms far exceeds that standard Hampton Inn. Great rate. The valet parking is extremely reasonable ($14) compared with other hotels in […] the immediate area. Hotel was nice and clean. Staff were friendly and free breakfast was robust. I would definitely stay here again.

Love this hotel, but find the area a bit expensive when you add in valet parking. I realize this area is vital (was here before it existed) which drives prices. I did like being able to walk to restaurant for evening meal as well as the hospitality hours at the hotel. This was an overnight for us on one of our "eating road trips". Enjoyed it.

One of my favorite places to stay in Florida! Service is great, rooms clean and comfortable. Wonderful happy hour and breakfast. Location is perfect and walking distance too everything, across the street from the marina and beautiful park. I have been staying there for years and feel like it is my home away home.

This was a great hotel and location with a great breakfast included and when I lost my earring and they found it and mailed it back to right away-great service!

The hotel, location, breakfast, etc., was all fine. One detractor: on the king-sized bed we slept on, the sheets popped off OVER and OVER. Annoying.

I loved this hotel. The beds were comfortable, the location was perfect, and everything was clean. The staff was very friendly.

excellent location, very clean with outstanding staff. Hot breakfast was very good.

I have stayed here a few times for Tampa Bay Rays games. It is 2 blocks from the free shuttle to andfrom the stadim. Lots of fun bars and restraunts within walking distance.

When my family and I pulled up at the valet, of which is the only way to check in, we were not helped with our bags by the attendant. He actually wheeled out the bag carrier and helped the family that arrived behind us. I didn't really notice if they had kids, but we definately had a 5 month old baby and two other kids and we could have used the help. […] I honestly felt really upset and assumed it was because we were Hispanic and they were white. I don't understand why. Our appearance was not inappropriate and we drive a new nicely priced family SUV. Then it killed me when they did not have room service or anywhere to get a meal there. However they did have 6 pizza shops in a mile radious. The neighborhood was definately "the hood". There are homeless people all over the place. I even saw dead roaches and a lot of dog crap in the streets. Nevertheless, there was only a CVS like a mile away of which we had to walk to as our cars were parked in the building were it would have been very difficult to get out of valet. Should I keep going.
