NOT DOG FRIENDLY!!! MY DOG WAS BARKING BECAUSE PEOPLE IN ANOTHER ROOM WERE FIGHTING AND THEY THREATENED TO "REMOVE" MY DOG WITHOUT MY PERMISSION AND SAID NOTHING TO THE ARGUING NEIGHBORS. The Artisan is supposed to be a great Boutique Hotel that is decidedly different than the normal. The lobby is very dark and reminded me of the Tower of Terror ride lobby, and the bar/nightclub area is open 24 hours and was very cool. They have a resturaunt that is open 8am-10pm. There is NO hotel parking other than Valet. The pool area, although very […] small, is well laid out and has cool ammenities. But... the rooms... I stayed in the "Monet" room (each room is "Artist-themed"). The rooms are very small. They look to be quite larger on the website, but do not let that fool you; they are very small. My room in particular had a huge patch (not well done) on the ceiling above the bed, a really poor entryway light which would illuminate the closet and safe, dirty stained bed roll, super-thin see-though cheap sheets, louver blinds that droop and will not stay open, a hole in the celiing above the shower, etc etc. I did NOT enjoy the room. Ice is ONLY available downstairs in the bar/nightclub area, but your ice bucket is in your room. Imagine walking down a hall, going down the elevator, into a club environment with your trusty empty ice bucket have to go up to a bar and ask the busy bartender for ice.. REALLY??? They say they offer 2 bottles of water per day, but when I asked the maid for my water, she said they were out. How are you out of water? I asked for a delivery service for food one night and was given a book of places from the front desk, the very next night I asked for the same book only to be told it is obsolete and therefore worthless to see (even though I ordered the night before from that book). They also offer an "Adult channel" on the TV that is the opening title menu from a dvd on a loop, so all you see aree chapters of what you could watch, but arent actually able to see. fun hotel. great for couples. Very cool. location is odd. not near anything and kind of hard to get to. 100% will go again. great bar:)

When I checked in tony room the key did not work. I had to go to the front desk 4 times before they programmed it correctly. I had a package shipped to the hetel for me to pick up when I arrived. They couldn't find it. There were dirty fingerprints on the light switches and maid service never came to clean my room.

There is nothing "wrong" with this hotel - but this is definitely a party hotel. The lobby is a mob scene of drunk (and probably high) people on both Friday and Saturday nights. There are lots of "in-room" parties too - and people running between the rooms, slamming doors, going up and down the fire escape, etc. The decor is totally over the top in […] a good/fun way. The bar is great. The pool is nice. Bottom line: Sunday-Thursday, you're probably OK to get some sleep. Friday and Saturday, the party is going on until at least 7am (in our case, 9am). We put on a white noise machine and had had a few drinks ourselves, and managed to get asleep about 2am and only get woken up once - but this is not someplace to stay if you need quiet - at least not Friday and Saturday night. It's one thing to be trendy and another to take it too far. I loved the artwork, but there was just so much everywhere to include the ceilings that instead of being chic, it comes off as shabby. The hotel lobby was dark and had way too much "stuff" in it. My husband was especially uncomfortable by all the nude paintings. The room was small, but clean. […] However, the hotel is located off the Strip where many of the so-called "gentlemen's" clubs are situated. I got the impression the area was somewhat of an industrial area. I wouldn't feel safe walking around the neighborhood at night. I've given it a 3 overall only because the staff was very pleasant. The Artisan is a great place if you want to be close to a party, however don't expect any type of service. The night life is great, there's a club built right in. However, if you're expecting anything else, you might just want to take a taxi here. Room service was nonexistent, and they had booked a wedding party for the entire weekend without notifying […] us when we checked in. noisy hotel, even if the nightclub noise doesn't keep you up the road right next to the hotel will. also it is zoned where all the strip clubs are. if your into the party scene you would love it... if not find something else. that all being said the front desk staff was nice, and tried to accommodate.

We enjoyed our stay, would have been nice to have a small fridge & coffee pot. Really cool decor. Place was jumping Friday & Saturday nights, kept going until we left at 8 am on Sunday! Great staff, friendly & professional. We will stay there again.

The hotel was very nice and clean. It is a bit off the main strip, so be prepared to pay around $20 each way for cab. The pool was closed for a wedding the Saturday we were there and I was really looking forward to some pool time, so I felt the staff should have informed me when I confirmed reservations. The night life was great. The drink prices are on the high side(5 bucks for a bottle of water) 10 plus for call drinks. The house music can be felt in your chest while you are trying to sleep and it went till11:30pm. Its a nice place to stay if you don't mind people parting and using drugs in the lobby. further more found vomit or blood on our comforter, they came and picked up the dirty and and didn't leave a clean one, when I called and asked for a new one the lady at the front desk said they didn't have comforters so we went without all night. all in all poor […] customer service, really bad area in town, i personally will never be returning! We were not informed that this hotel is a party hotel. 8pm until 8am DJ in the lobby: loud, unruly characters abound, pet friendly, but no where to have your pet go outside. Very uncomfortable and we weren't informed at all. Sheets weren't bleached and there was "spilling" of items on the chair. No sleep at all even on the 5th floor.

I was very disappointed with this Hotel. Its very dark, only one restaurant with not enough selections on their menu. Check in took about 1-1/2 hours. The lights in the bathroom and hallway went out causing the outlets not to work it took them 1 hour to come up and check it out at 9pm at night. We had to get ready but had no outlets. So they say it's a pet friendly hotel and charge a pet fee, but in the middle of the night I got a nasty voice message saying my dog was braking non stop and people were complaining. It went on to say that if I didn't stop the barking they would remove her from the room. WHAT?!?! First of all, my dog isn't a barker, the only time she barks is when she […] hears knocking. We chose The Artisan because we wanted to see what other options were available beyond the traditional Vegas hotels. Located off strip, The Artisan is a refurbished standard hotel located in a not so nice neighborhood. We had to get really creative on how to get to the main road but once we figured it out, it was easy. The immediate surroundings of the property are very upscale and nice, Valet staff was nice and prompt. The interior lobby looks just like the photos. Lots of dark wood, eclectic furnishings, and tons of art. Front desk staff was pleasant. Checked out the room before heading to dinner. Very clean and linens smelled good (something I've learned to look for). The room needs some minor repairs and updates. The TV reception we fuzzy 99% of the time, there are NOT enough outlets, the small vanity mirrow in the bathroom was about to fall off, there was a gouge in the closet door that had just been painted over, and our phone couldn't call down to the front desk the entire visit. We could dial out, but got a busy signal each time we tried the front desk. During our first night, we realized we were directly above the UltraLounge. Beginning at 9pm and going until 9am and then some, the music was insanely loud! In the middle of the night, we were awakened constantly by people running through the halls, banging on doors, screaming, etc. Then at 4:30 in the morning the fire alarm went off. We finally exited our room after about 10 minutes of listening to it to find the emergency exit opened and nearly blocked by a lounge chair (door says that alarm will sound if door is open). We went down the fire exit to land in the outside patio of the lounge with the music still blaring. No one seemed to care that a fire alarm had gone off...they were going to continue to party. I had a fantastic experience at the Artisan Hotel. After having been taken on a date for dinner and drinks to the hotel's magnificent restaurant and bar, I knew I had to bring my girlfriends for our ladies' weekend to stay. With both art and interior design students in my weekend entourage, everyone LOVED the Artisan. The staff was incredibly helpful […] and friendly, the rooms were clean and beds were comfortable, not to mention the property and grounds were gorgeous (as was the overnight bartender). A bit run down..... but interesting none the less

This Hotel is Small and off the beaten path. Great room rates. It is not on "The Strip". Super easy off the 15 Hwy and Sahara Blvd., with valet shaded parking right at the front door with only 20 steps to the elevator. Dark lobby with art hung everywhere. It is an older hotel. First of all this hotel has no gambling... no loud noises, yay! Dinner was quite nice. Staff was down to earth and amazing. My room was huge and had dark red and black colors with cool lighting. The paintings in the hall were fun to look at. When I first walked in, I was in awe of the low lighting and the huge paintings... I liked it, very posh. Love the decor of the Artisan. I love that you can find a boutique hotel in Vegas. The service wasn't the best, but the decor and the vibe make up for it to an extent. The bar/lounge has a great vibe and plays great music.

This hotel has a different feel to it than most hotels, dark renaissance decor, but the beds are comfy and hotel is fairly clean. However, the hotel is located next to a busy highway, and it seems like the room only had single pane windows, and was extremely loud from the highway noise. Hardly slept the entire night! The art in the hotel and ambience is overall pretty cool, however I was disappointed on everything else. THe rooms are so small you can barely breath. The ceilings are low and the staff is creepy. I didn't sleep in the hotel.

Besides not having to sleep any of the nights of my stay, the room was a complete mess. The smoke alarm was uninstalled hanging off the wall. The staff didn't seem to nice. On my last nite all my belongings were gone from my room because the maid thought I checked out. Obviously a mess in their process because I never wanted to stay an extra night. […] My stuff was found hours later but I don't enjoy the fact it was taken away from me!!! Devamı

The hotel was lived up to it's name; artistic, unique, romantic, and a party at night. The police sirens all night long, mixed with rowdy crowd running the halls all hours of the night could have been solved with ear plugs, but definitely gave me sleep deprivation!!

Couldn't sleep thanks to 24 hour club! Walls thin so plan on not sleeping! Great party hotel but defintaley not for relaxing! Crappy area, next to about 10 strip clubs. If your looking to get a away for a relaxing vacation this is not the place for you but if you want to party all night & not get any sleep then this is the perfect hotel!

I travel to Vegas once a week. I have found my new home. Very different hotel...but ton of character. I really enjoyed the staff and the hotel itself.

Visual delight. Artists will love the decor. However, Very loud thumping base "music" played all night long even until 7:99 am before quitting. making sleep difficult. Only one elevator and it is very slow. Outside dirt parking area. Very difficult to access until you know how to approach the hotel. It sits in an area off the side of an overpass and […] there is no easy way to get to it even when you can see it from the Freeway. No fridge or coffee maker etc. Sink stopper broken. First, this hotel is a STEAL. I got a great rate and on the weekend even! The hotel is beautiful, with a bar that is outstanding! Plush chairs, great artwork and a very generous bartender. The beer was so cold I never wanted to leave (and much cheaper than any hotel on the strip)! The room was fantastic as well. I had problems keeping the air regulated, […] but didn't need to call anyone. The bed was so comfortable and the room was just decoratedly awesomely! I loved it! I read other reviews where it was loud, but it didn't bother me at all. I could hear music, but I was able to read, talk on the phone and do some work all without it interrupting me. It was so minor. The thing I would most like to emphasize about this hotel is how GREAT the management and staff are! It was worth it to stay here just for them! So accommodating and just genuinely nice. I will never stay at another hotel in Vegas again but this one! Devamı

I am an Artist so I loved this Hotel...I loved the locals hang out here too...Everything was great!

I love this hotel, only complaint is that it backs up against the freeway and its loud. Fun place to party but if you want to sleep in a quiet hotel this is not the place for you.

The Artisan Hotel in Las Vegas was a unique experience. This was a fun and comfortable hotel. I loved my Andy Warhol room. The staff was fun, attentive, professional and beyond compare. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is adjacent to a raised interstate (I-15); our window was on line with the interstae and a stones throw the the traffic. The noise was extreme. The mattresses were old and very uncomfortable, The pool is "adult topless" from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. This is perhaps a plus for some but not for a family with kid who wants to use the pool. Finally, […] the Hotels.com operator informed us the hotel was very close to Circus Circus. That was correct- however, to get there you had to climb a 15' foot fence surrounding the electrial plant in front of the hotel or walk a mile around the strip joints and taatoo parlors on either side of the hotel. We stayed at the Artisan, unbeknowest to us that an all night RAVE party was scheduled in the hotel. Even though we were on the 4th floor, the noise from 3am to 7am was horrendous. I assumed there was a night club nearby, had I known the hotel took a reservation for an all night party, I would have complained. Upon check out, (no Manager around) the […] staff admitted the all night party transpired. Upon leaving the hotel, I noticed vomit in the hotel hallway. What kind of inconsiderate management would allow a couple in their 50's to stay at their hotel, knowing an all night RAVE party was reserved for the evening?! Shame on the Artisan! Appalling! The hotel was surprisingly nice considering it is surrounded by strip clubs and right against the freeway. We first pulled off and looked at the area we were kind of put off. But once we pulled into the gates of the hotel it was like pulling into a privet club, very upscale with great style. The valet parking is mandatory and does cost you a few bucks, […] but the parking area is very small so I understand why they only offer valet. The inside of the hotel is amazing, with over the top decor that blends art with old Las Vegas and European themes. Our room was clean, at the price point we were kind of wondering what we would get, we have had some low cost hotel rooms in Vegas, but this was on par with rooms I have paid much more for. Clean, great style, nice flat screen and a good size. The staff was friendly and the entire experience was great, for the price I would stay there again. Devamı

The Artisan has interesting decor, comfortable beds, and a nice pool, but there were a number of minuses about our room, at least. There was no in-room book explaining the layout of the hotel and services available. The toilet was plugged up when we checked in. It has been a very rare occurance that I have ever written a negative review but I must say The Artisan did not win many points. #1. I booked 2 bed room as we were a party of 3 which was obvious at check in but they gave us a 1 bed room so I had to return to the desk to change it. The desk clerk said "Oh, I knew you would be right back". #2. Our toilet […] didn't flush right and soon didn't flush at all. We were in such a rush to attend the event we came out for we didn't have time to get it looked at so the following morning we had no toilet. #3. Valet parking is MANDATORY (on weekends I was told, just my luck we were there on a Saturday) this means you must TIP your valet driver every time he gets your car even though you can walk to it and get it yourself. #4. The Artisan turns into a late night rave club and you can here and FEEL the music pounding in our room til 7am. #5. I had huge resistance from the valet once returning after the event I attended at 5AM Sunday morning. They told me we couldn't park there because the valet was full but there isn't any other parking in the entire area. We had to PROVE we were staying there in order for the valet to park our car since it is MANDATORY valet service. #6. Once the 3 of us got to the front of the hotel door we were told be BIG bouncers we couldn't get in. I'm like... "I'm staying here!" so they switched us to another line with another BIG bouncer who just starred down at me shaking his his. This guy had some bizarre power trip. I said look, it's 5AM all i want to do is go to sleep! He told me I can't enter I had to prove to him we were staying there yet again by digging out my room key. #7. We could clearly hear people "getting it on" with all the details as we walked back and forth to our room from the elevator each and every time. Thin walls?
