the location is great. the staff changes with shift and some of them positive and friendly, some of them not. Specially thanks to the girl who brings us tomatoes every morning in the breakfast. rooms are not isolated and you'll hear snores of your neighbour.

very close to trevi Fountain and other sites. didn't need public transport, walked everywhere, even to and from main railway terminus where we got bus to/from Airport. Good buffet brekie although only hot bacon and egg available.

Hotel is a great location easy to walk around to major sites. The room, service and staff was TERRIBLE, no A/C, rude and rooms were not very clean.

Just spent a week in Rome at Hotel Delle Nazioni and could not be more pleased with my choice of hotel. The location is obviously sublime, but more importantly, the staff was extremely helpful. Spent time locating a particular wine bar and charting out directions as well as supplying info for better, more local places to dine. This is a traditional Italian hotel which is very well located if you are wanting to see the main sights or go shopping. There is plentiful hot water and it is clean. The breakfast is good for Italy. For the price this was good value. if you want luxury in this area, you will need to pay a lot more. This Hotel was recommended by friends and I can see why. Comfotartable rooms , courteous efficient staff and the ideal location for sightseeing trips.Most of the major tourist attractions are within walking distance. The Vatican City was only a €10 taxi fare away .

Everything was great except the receptionist at the desk when we checked in was a bit rude. We were on a very tight schedule and she ignored us for 15 minutes after we gave our name (there were no other guests there, she just seemed uninterested in helping us!) The hotel itself was centrally located. It was clean, the breakfast was good and the superior room was very nice. Some of the people at the front desk were not very helpful. At the conclusion of our stay we were asked to pay a Rome room tax. They only accepted it in cash and would not generate a receipt which made it seem a bit of a scam. The Hotel Delle Nazioni is located a block from the Trevi Fountain. It is a fantastic location for seeing Roma. When we travel, we spend very little time in our room. very nice hotel at a great price. the upgrade to the superior room was esily worth it. The breakfast was great, the room was very nice. However the room was very warm and the day we got in it smelled like cigarettes but then faded. the location couldn't hve been better for site seeing by foot.

We had a very nice stay at this hotel and the concierge desk was helpful for us. The hotel is right next to the Trevi Fountain and was a short cab or long walk to most of the ruins or the vatican. would recommend this hotel to others.

The location of the hotel is perfect. It is just some meters from fontana di trevi, 5 minutes from piazza di spagna, pantheon, barberini station and more. The room is clean with a wooden floor. BUT, the room was really small, making you feel unconfortable. Moreover the shower was also really small of a semi circle shape of barely 70 points. The breakfast […] was the poorest breakfast I have ever had and I stayed in hotels of 2 and 3 stars. Maybe this is a 1 or half star breakfast. But the worst of all was that during the last night of our stay the hot water system of the hotel was broken. We realised it at 7 and the hotel told us it wiil be fixed by 7:30. At 7:45 while returning from the poor breakfast the reception told as that they expect the maintanance person to come at 8:30. We had to live by 9 so to catch up our flight so we did not have a bath. In my opinion a 4 star hotel that hosts so many people, in the winter and has a problem with hot water should be able to fix it as soon as possible. Their attitude to this issue clearly shows their lack of proffesionalism. Due to the frustration caused by this fact, the small room and shower their lack of professionalism and the poor breakfast I would look for another hotel in this area if I had stayed in Rome again. Hotel is located in the very heart of Rome. Short distance to all the most interestings sites. The room (junior suite) was very comfortable and quiet and the service was excellent. Breakfast was also very good. I can strongly recommend.

Shower drain was very slow this is a very old building that we really appreciated otherwise. Service was excellent and the breakfast included was a good value. The hotels in Rome seem to be very expensive in comparison to other Euro cities. The room could have really stood an iron & ironing board too. We had a beautiful spacious room & deck. This hotel was such a pleasant surprise. It was located very close to the Trevi Fountain which is surrounded by shops, gelato stores, and restaurants. It was also close to the Spanish steps and taxi and bus stops. The hotel staff was delightful and very helpful with dinner suggestions and reservations. Delle Nazioni was the perfect place for us - very near Trevi Fountain, as well as all of the shops and restaurants in the area. The Barberini subway stop is less than 15 min walk away. From there you can connect to the Vatican, Colosseum, and all attractions. We were able to walk to the Pantheon and Piazza Navone for dinners. Breakfast was good - eggs […] & bacon, breads, croissants, meats, cheeses, with something sweet, too. I recently stayed at The Delle Nazioni Hotel in Rome, Italy, for an extended weekend break with friends. The hotel is advertised as a four star hotel but this rating is overstated and misleading - the hotel does not live up to the standard one would expect for such a rating. In particular, the room we were allocated on arrival had a dated, substandard […] and badly constructed bathroom. After complaining about the hairdryer in the bathroom which fell apart when I attempted to use it, we were allocated another room on a higher floor which was an marked improvement on the first. On the plus side, the hotel location is superb and within walking distance to most of the tourist attractions. I would also say that the staff and service at the hotel is in general good. The rooms were cleaned well and the reception staff were helpful and accomodating, especially concerning the room change given that the hotel was fully booked. Breakfast was also a sad affair with no fresh cut fruit, cold hard boiled eggs and bacon swimming in fat. When I asked for a fresh soft boiled egg, I was informed that there was an additional charge for this!!! Overall, I would say that the hotel and the rooms in particular are dated and could do with renovation but that for the right price and its location, the hotel is worth considering if you are not expecting a four star standard. My wife and I stayed here some years ago aand enjoyed ourselves.A party of seven of us stayed here for 3 nights in mid-September 2011 and enjoyed our stay immensely. My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Delle Nazioni in the height of tourist season and we could not have been happier. This was our first time in Rome so we needed to see all the usual sites. This hotel is a block away from Trevi Fountain, a 5 minute walk from the Spanish Steps, and within 15 minutes you can walk everything else (Colosseum, Pantheon, Vatican). […] The hotel has most rooms with windows facing a nice, quiet courtyard so there was never a noise issue. The staff at the front desk were always very helpful, spoke great english and the morning breakfast was just what we needed to start the day (cappuccino, hard boiled or scrambled eggs, fruit, yogurt and assorted breads). I booked the hotel last minute to be close to downtown, and didn't expect too much but the hotel was great, nice service, and a great location!

Amazing location yet room was very quiet. Only drawback was no free internet!

Overall a very comfortable, warm and inviting hotel which I would definitely recommend to anyone travelling to Rome. The Reception staff are always very friendly and willing to help with any questions a tourist might have, in particular, Massimo was fantastic! On the other hand some of the breakfast staff were a bit cold and made me feel as though I […] was being an incovenience for requesting more than one italian expresso coffee - this I did not like. The buffet breakfast was a bit limited as well and was far too American and not Italian enough. No fresh fruit salad provided and not a wide variety in terms of milk or cerial etc not as well. Overall, a reasonable breakfast though. The location is perfect - you are literally a 1 or 2 minute walk from the Fountain of Trevi and close to the Pantheon. Restaurants and shops are also close by and a taxi to the Vatican or Colloseum shouldn't exceed around 10 mins or 10 euros which is great. Light sleepers will be woken up by other hotel guests talking loudly at night or slamming doors without meaning to, but with the windows properly closed, you will not hear any noise from the busy Rome streets which is a positive. The shower is bit small and we often had trouble with the fiddly door mechanism which caused water to leak all over the floor and into the bedroom on several occasions - quite annoying and they should look into a better shower door system. On the first night of our stay I also found a large cockroach type bug in the bathroom (which I killed) and then on other days I did see some other small bugs on the bathroom floor which gave me the feeling the place wasn't all that clean - but I could be wrong. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Location is excellent. Hotel is very nice with very good breakfast served each morning. The room was much larger than anticipated (superior room upgrade) and actually had 2 separate balconies. One of which was fairly large and and had a table and chairs for outside sitting or dining. I stayed at this hotel for three nights, super central location and only one block from Trevi fountain. Our room was very clean and the beds are superb, liked the air condition as well as the fact that the hotel is very quiet. Would recommend to everybody.

Excellent location only 2 short blocks from Fontana di Trevi. Room was not fancy but very adequate adn spotlessly clean. Breakfast buffet had a large selection and all of the food was fresh and tasty, very convenient so I didn't have to waste time or money wondering around looking for something to eat before hitting the sites.

What a fantastic location.Its very close to the Trevi Fountains,the Colliseum,Piazza Navonna,Piazza Barbieri and many many other attractions. This is not some old musty run down hotel.Its in great condition. The room was very comfortable in every way. The staff is professional but not warm.

It is a very comfortable hotel in a great location. The rooms are nice, large, updated and very quiet-great for relaxing after work or after sight-seeing. The breakfast options are huge. After staying in similar hotels in Florence, Venice and Paris-I can say that this one was the best by far. The only glitch.... the only little complaint we could have […] was that they could invest in better quality coffee for the breakfast. The variety of food options for breakfast is so huge-the food so good: why not shoot for 100% of excellence and invest in tasty coffee? Front desk staff was blatantly rude to us on a couple occasions, but hotel is extremely nice - has the feel of a 4 star US hotel in the public areas. Our room was very nice, but pretty warm - no AC and not much air flow into our room. They have a public use computer (that you have to pay for internet usage) that I had issues with logging on, since […] the instructions were incorrect. The staff member showed me how to get logged on and basically acted like I was an idiot. Then we were napping in our room at 4 pm one day when they came to clean the room. Later, when leaving for dinner, we asked for them to send new towels to our room. He was very rude to us and acted like we were ridiculous for asking for that. Other than that, we had a great stay and I would definitely stay there again. The breakfast buffet was great too. No free WiFi sucked and I didn't realize the WiFi wasn't accessible in our room until after I paid for it. They only offer wired internet in the rooms. Devamı

I was a bit worried about the reports regarding the staff not being friendly or helpful. this could not be further from the truth. All were very helpful and the hotel was great in all other ways including breakfast which was excellent. when next in Rome will stay here.

I spent endless hours navigating hotels.com and other sites for the optimal hotel in the expensive city of Rome. I was torn between two hotels, one with slightly higher rankings, and the other, this one, with a more central location. I chose this location and it was facilitated with a discount coupon that your site sent that allowed me to book a junior […] suite for less than my previous booking for a double. Be prepared to walk and enjoy the history, museums, sites and ambience with wonderful restaurants and sidewalk cafes everywhere--literally steps away from the Trevi Fountain, but far enough from the noise and mobs always there. As others have expressed, free access to the business center computer (and a printer) at least for airline boarding passes would be an improvement in this age of online booking. As a European and world traveling veteran (both on business and pleasure with the family), I highly recommend you do not stay at this hotel. My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights. Read the negative reviews here as they are spot on. Firstly, the service was horrible. The staff (including all 3 rotating front desk mangers) were extremely rude and non-helpful. […] We saw them (on more than several occasions) snicker and laugh amongst themselves at a few guests after they checked-in or left the front desk area because they asked simple questions. They did not help with directions nor did they want to engage in any helpful information for longer than 15 seconds. I have never, ever seen such poor service at any hotel and we travel around the world. Trust me, it was not only at us but other guests and we just had to shake our heads at the rudeness by hotel management. Secondly, we had a suite for a room and the room was so bad, we had to move after the first night, we saw insects around the room and the noise coming from the room above us and next to us was extremely loud (day and night) since the walls are super thin and you can hear everything. We heard people talking in the halls, footsteps in the room above us, bathrooms flushing everywhere, it was not easy to get a good nights sleep at all. The next morning, we asked to be move to another room and I mentioned even a small room will do (a downgrade), they would not help and come up with several excuses. Finally, after standing our ground, they agreed but mentioned they would not help move our luggage or do anything else to help us. We had to do that ourselves. I felt bad for my wife so I had to make all the trips carrying the luggage up and down the stairs. Also, our shower broke in our new room and they said they could not help till the next day. The location of the hotel is great, about 1 min walk to the Trevi fountain. HOWEVER, since we went in April, it was considered winter time. Even though it was 20+ degrees Celcius outside, there was only hot air blowing from the central AC system. So we had to turn off the AC, and open the windows. Since our room faces Via Poli, which is a very busy […] street, we couldn't sleep without any earplugs. The room itself was clean and fairly comfortable and the breakfast was decent. However, with the noise from the streets, you need to be really tired or have a good pair of earplugs to be able to sleep well at night. Devamı

We just got back from a tour of Italy, and agree that Hotel della Nazioni was our favorite hotel there. Rome is exhilirating but exhausting, and really what one needs more than anything is a good night's sleep. Nazioni's rooms and beds provide that and more. Our room was practically soundproof (a small miracle there!), the shutters blocking out all […] light when closed and the good windows all noise, and the beds were heavenly - better than the five star hotel we chose at Venice. Yes, our rooms were small, but they provided all essentials, and even looked out into a charming flower-filled patio when the shutters were opened. The bathroom was spacious and well-equipped. Breakfast was the best we had in Italy, with a wide range of choices to start the day. Location was perfect, literally around the corner from Trevi Fountain. Friendly men at the front desk, fluent in several languages, helpful in helping us to get our bearings. My only suggestion to the hotel would be to provide more guidance and recommendations for activities and eating. But we figured things out and found plenty to do. Very nice location - rooms are a little small but clean & nice. Ask the front desk & they can recommend restaraunts & also arrange a shuttle to take you to the airport at a much better rate than a cab or a cab & the train.

My 12 yr old son and I went to Rome for 5 days to learn more about the ancient Empire. I chose this hotel because of it's central location. However, I felt the service I received was mediocre at best. Perhaps if my husband had asked twice, they would have replaced the light bulb in the bathroom or fixed the tv service? The saving grace was that I chose […] a jr. suite so my son had a sofa bed (which was not made up until the 2nd day) in a small sitting room and I could close the door to my room and night and we each had a bit of privacy. The hotel is only yards away from the Trevi Fountain, and is surrounded by lots of restaurants and shopping. It is a quick walk to the Pantheon and Piazza Navona. We walked to all the major sites. One thing that caught us by surprise, they did require cash upon checkout for incidentals and city tax. The hotel arranged a private car for the trip to the airport--50 euro vs. 45 for taxi, and the driver was waiting for us (we had an early departure). We stayed at what we thought was a fairly full rate for 2 nights. Despite including all taxes, we had to pay another few Euro for each night.
