This hotel is an oasis in the desert! Unique, trendy, comfortable, classy and affordable! The restaurant was fantastic! Yummy, fresh, organic and reasonably priced food.

The exterior and immediate neighborhood are nothing special. But inside, excellent service, friendly helpful front desk, rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable, great pool. I needed a room change because of internet reception and no problem I was moved right away. The on site restaurant was very reasonably priced, friendly service and good fresh […] food. Needed a place a stay during a stopover in Phoenix and was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The restaurant was also fantastic with excellent food and service. The surrounding area was a little dull with about a ten minute walk to the light rail stop.

We enjoyed our stay. We had a poolside view on the third floor. Very quiet and comfortable; the restaurant Gallo Blanco was excellent for our late dinner and fast breakfast !

We loved the hipster trendy feel of the hotel! Just a fun place to be! You can spend your entire vacation in the hotel. Loved the pool, bar and restaurant. And they give out free late-night snacks! We would totally go back!!!

Nice clean hotel. Big room we were given a free upgrade. The only problem was our room was over the downstairs restuarant and it was very noisy.

Staff was incredible. Rooms clean. Convient hotel! Great location and pool area. Boutique style at its best!

My family chose this hotel because of its downtown Phoenix location. Around every corner there was an interesting conversation piece, most enjoyed was the laughter from my young son as he entered the hotel lobby restroom. We enjoyed that this hotel offered unusual decor that was tastefully done. My only complaint was that the shower curtain smelled […] of mildew which hit you as you entered the room. Upon arrival, I stood at the front desk waiting for someone to help me for about 10 mintues. Once someone actually helped me, they were very cold and rude. They told me to sign and initial an agreement and when I asked for a pen, the front desk employee sighed and threw a pen down on the counter. When we arrived in our room we were less than thrilled. […] The carpet was filthy, there were dirty used towels tucked behind the bathroom door, the shower had hair ALL over the bottom of it (and it didn't look like hair from your head...), the painting in the bathroom had specks of what might have been shaving cream (not totally sure) the beds were made, but not well. The bed skirts were pulled about 2 feet down from one side exposing the mattress. We have used this hotel for every employee staying in the downtown Phoenix area, but will NEVER use this hotel again. This place is run-down and kind of trashy. It's perfect for college students on Spring Break or something but not a place for adults looking for a restful, clean, classy, quiet place to stay. My room was dirty and had a bottle of the appallingly toxic Frebreze in it, which I assumed was sprayed everywhere. My eyes were red and itchy only while in the […] hotel. I did not walk barefoot on the carpet. I find it odd that the restaurant touts an organic, local menu, while the hotel uses chemicals like Febreze in the rooms, as though what you put in your body is one thing, and what you breathe is a different matter. A bit of a disconnect there. The $20 "spa fee" is ridiculous. There is nothing even remotely spa-like about this place except it has a pool. It's really a motel with a pool. The "spa fee" covers some crappy free junk food late at night, bottled water in your room, free parking and free wi-fi - all of which are included free in most "spa quality" hotels anyway. It's a totally bogus charge at the Clarendon. All that said, the front desk staff were really great. That is the best thing about the Clarendon. Devamı

If my local indie bookstore and coffeeshop decided to open a hotel, this would be what I imagine. I was worried when I turned into their parking lot because the hotel seems out of place, but I enjoyed the funky retro feel once I was inside. The food in the hotel restaurant was excellent. The suites should have another TV in the living room area. The bathroom and sink area was small. Not enough towels in the room. House keeping did not refill the coffee the next day. The modern art and room decoration was nice. The staff provided excellent service and was very helpful. I enjoyed my stay. […] Would stay again. they have an excelent boutique concept but the building is old and has a bad odor, our sink did not work.

This seems like it was a former apartment building. It has a sort of low rent chic to it. Not the Grand Hyatt and not a Best Western. Artsy with retro 60's furniture in the bar area which is basically the lobby. And a general retro 60's feel all around. The pool is not on the roof, it is in the middle of this empty square surrounded by the rooms. There […] is a wall of water at one end which produces a significant white noise. If you need to sleep in silence, this might not be the best choice for you. The Jr. Suite was a generously sized room with plenty of space. Plenty of outlets for charging your electronic stuff and a remodeled bathroom with clean nicely functioning plumbing. If you are looking for something in the middle of PHX at a very reasonable rate this could be it. Devamı

If you are looking for a hotel that matches your Lexus this is not the place for you. But if you want a real feel for Phoenix and a Hotel that earns a four star rating for service not for spending millions to look good I really recommend this hotel.

We love this hotel! We have stayed here several times.....we're local!! Beautiful pool.....Great beds.....big TV......We stayed up on the roof from 4pm to 8 pm and ordered dinner to go from downstairs....ate it up on the roof. We had a wonderful time.

hotel was an interesting but a bit funky choice. In an older office building area without too much around. as i checked in, there was a flaminco show going on in the lobby...unusual, but the crowd seemed to be having fun. it looked like the whole hotel had been upgraded with primarily bright paint. room was large, but did not have a comfy chair. ok […] bath. all-in-all, just ok Devamı

Conveniently located, really great restaurant. Walls are paper thin. You will hear your neighbor's conversations - hope for quiet ones.

My girlfriend and I live in the west valley, planned a day downtown and just wanted a room to relax after lunch and a pool to chill at for a few hours. This place was perfect, nice staff, clean rooms, great restaurant.....will def stay here again.

You will drive through a series of suburban neighborhoods to reach the Wig Wam and wonder if you are headed in the right direction. But the drive will be worth it once you discover the oddly named Wig Wam Resort. Take the time to read about the history of the resort, to understand its unusual location - it all makes sense. And then you can just enjoy […] the beauty and details of this magnificent property. Also, don't miss eating at either the bar or the restaurant. Great food in beaautiful surroundings. My boyfriend and I stayed a night here for valentines day. The staff was very attentive and kind, our room was clean with a nice touch of classical music once we entered our room. The resturant merged with the hotel, which I too suggest in trying for breakfast and/or lunch.

It's an interesting redux of a hotel. The room was clean and relatively quiet, but the bathroom fan was loud and the light over the shower worked sporadically. The in-room single-use coffee maker was cool, but it would have been nice to have more coffees than teas, and cups as well. Not a good business hotel. The hotel thinks it is in miami south beach and trys to hard witout results. The property needs some up keep and a friendlier staff. Nt a good property for the business customer.

We enjoyed our stay. The Restaurant was great, drinks and bar scene very cool, entertainment was an unexpected pleasure. Great overall experience

I travel to Phoenix often for work and I always stay at the Clarendon. It has a hip interior, GREAT restaurant and friendly staff. It is also very close to many other great, local restaurants, antique shopping and yoga studios. My only complaint is that some of the rooms need to be updated.

This place is great for the price! The pool area, the roof top bar, and Gallo Blanco, are the highlights of the Clarendon. It appears that the owners are doing a phased-approach to renovations, with the rooms next on the list. The beds are very comfortable, the room was clean and brightly painted, and I liked the touch of the soothing music playing […] as you enter. The bathrooms should be the next to be renovated... the shower water pressure was very low and the temperature luke-warm. But that is my only complaint! I would definitely stay here the next time I’m in Phoenix. Devamı

This is a very old hotel with new paint, fixtures and furniture. Still feels old. We could not sleep due to the noise on the outside cement stairs and the visitors above us. Wouldn't stay here again.

This hotel is unique and has the friendliest staff. It is an older hotel that has been remodeled so visually it is updated but the atmosphere is even better. The rooms have great color, art, filtered air, water, coffee and aroma. Flat screen TV's, fast internet access and a fun pool make this a great place for work or play. The restaurant and bar in […] the hotel offers a great happy hour, creative drinks and the best southwest food in town. All at a great value. room was ok; staff was almost belligerent with my wife. I could not sign out room key, so my wife went in my my 2 year old son. A gentleman held the door open as she entered, and was immediately greeted with "HOW DID YOU GET IN HERE?!" When my son made a mess in the room, we asked for room service to change the sheets. They told us to use a towel to […] cover it up. At least they let us change rooms because there was no room service. Devamı

Had a really nice stay. Great pool area and a tasty restaurant!

Convenient location to my business meetings...great price...cozy room. The staff made me feel welcome. The only complaint I would have is that the on-site gym facilities could be better(although they do offer a free pass at Gold's down the road).....but other than that, I'd come back here if the rate was as reasonable as what I paid....I enjoyed my […] stay here. Our stay at the Clarendon Hotel was more then I thought it would be! The pool is great! The roof top Bar was great! The Bar inside was great! & the Restaurant Was Great! Would Go Back There Anytime!

Pictures can be very deceiving! Got a junior suite which really means there is a chair off to the side of the entrance, not worth the extra money. The room and hallways smelled so heavily of febreeze it was sickening. Our room was attached to the wall for the door of the hallway so every time it opened or closed it shook the wall which also rattled […] the window. We could also hear the elevator all night. Not to mention every guest in and out of the elevator. Very, very loud. Went to the rooftop bar, two drinks in plastic 8 oz cups were $14. When checking out, I was not asked how the stay was so I told her anyway and just got the "will pass it along to management" but two days later no one has contacted me. Would not recommend! Devamı

Hotel was very appealing. I will be back in the summer months for sure! The room was updated and pretty modern. Probably the most comfortable bed and pillow I've ever slept on. the only downfall to our stay, you could hear every neighbor and person walking in the hallway and in the street as if they were right inside your room.
